A TransGate System for Convenient Wireless Internet Contents Generation (편리한 무선인터넷 컨텐츠 생성을 위한 TransGate 시스템)

  • A mobile device like ceil phone is the necessity of modern people, of ich con be easily connected to a wireless internet through such a mobile device. The demand for a wireless data communication is growing rapidly. However, agencies have not yet completed standardization of a markup language. Due to the development of the Mobile Device, agencies in this field have provided different data formats with each Mobile Device Platform. Traditionally, contents is hand-tailored to suit the target device. A key problem is that the characteristics and capabilities of the mobile device are too diverse to service the most suitable mobile contents. Because of these problems, the need for a re-usable document description language increases. In this paper, we defined Template file that is common data to service mobile devices. We proposed a method that could be an effective wireless web service though design and the implementation of the Call manager & the XSL Generator. In the methodology, when requesting a wireless internet service, a mobile device finds out markup language and a hardware specification of the mobile device through the Call Manager component supports. The XSL Generator component creates the XSL file dynamically that is the most suitable to a device. Finally, contents is serviced to each device by XSLT. It can generate a wireless page more easily by reusing the existing web contents through such course. Therefore, it can save the time and expense for generating a wireless page.

  • To realize a ubiquitous logistics management system using the smart object of Electronic Product Code(EPC) enabled RFID tag, the design and management of RFID Information Service is very important. RFID Information Service searches, transfers and responds to the other's PML request, but Physical Markup Language (PML) data management between trading system elements has issues of standardization of PML data description and processing, and problems of data traffic and communication time overload because of the innate distributed characteristics. As a complementary study, this research analyzes the usage patterns and data types of PML. On that analysis we provide a design of the distributed RFID Information Service architecture of PML data management that is using DB middleware. Standalone and Integrated type of RFID IS were proposed.

  • Nowadays, the study is going on develop USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) with diffusion of the internet and development of computer network technology. USN sensor nodes equipped with various types of sensors provide sensor information to each individual sensors. To do this there needs standardized data description language for allowing many people to use based on XML in web services environment. In this paper, USN sensor information required for application services in a standardized form to describe the sensor data representation language was designed. USN-based technology utilized in the field, and will be utilized for service activation.

  • The Intelligent Web Service is proposed for the purpose of automatic discovery, invocation, composition, inter-operation, execution monitoring and recovery web service through the Semantic Web and the Agent technology. To accomplish this Intelligent Web Service, the Ontology is a necessity for reasoning and processing the knowledge by the computer. However, creating service ontology, for the intelligent web service, has two problems not only consuming a lot of time and cost depended on heuristic of service developer, but also being hard to be mapping completely between service and service ontology. Moreover, the markup language to describe the service ontology is currently hard to be learned by the service developer In a short time. This paper proposes the efficient way of designing and creating the service ontology using MDA methodology. This proposed solution reuses the creating model in terms of desiEninE and constructing Web Service Model using UML based on MDA. After converting the Platform-Independent Web Service Model to the dependent model of OWL-S which is a Service Ontology description language, it converts to OWL-S Service Ontology using XMI. This proposed solution has profits, oneis able to be easily constructed the Service Ontology by Service Developers, the other is enable to be created the both service and Service Ontology from one model. Moreover, it can be effective to reduce the time and cost as creating Service Ontology automatically from a model, and calmly dealt with a change of outer environment like as the platform change. This paper cites an instance for the validity of designing Web Service model and creating the Service Ontology, and validates whether the created Service Ontology is valid or not.

A Study on the Design with RDF Authoring Tool for Metadata Management (메타데이터 관리를 위한 RDF 저작도구 설계에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the semantic web stands out in the next generation web. To realize the semantic web, the metadata integration is required between different metadatas on the web for metadata management. Otherwise, the integrated structure is needed to accommodate all of semantic, syntax and structure. RDF is one of the core technology and is more efficient framework for technology and interchange of metadata in the web, In this paper, for metadata management, we designed and implemented the RDF authoring system which converts each of metadata into RDF and makes it easy to manipulate and manage the different metadatas. For this, we researched about the RDF creation using Dublin Core metadata, the conversion of XML document into RDF, the RDF expression by N-Triple form and the integration of WSDL and RDF, and implemented the system on the lava platform. Basically, users using this system can integrate and manage metadatas easily even if they are not expert.

  • This study was to find the perception of mathematical & scientific learning of North Korean students who lived in Korea. To understand their perception, three groups as the focus group for clinical interview, consisting of North Korean students, their teaches and their parents, were investigated through narrative description of qualitative method, North Korean students experienced the gap between what they had learned and what they learned in Korea, due to visiting the 3rd country before they came to Korea. So they were in need of well developed instructional instruments based on a precise diagnosis of language ability to help them get over their difficulties. Second, they have difficulties in math & science classes due to differences between curricular and to the differences between the ways of expression of terminologies used in two countries. They expressed that the group work in learning and a great deal of number of problems could be helpful for their needs. Third, the community-service center should be operated in a systematic way to compensate their lack of getting a private education. Fourth, they thought that the supplemental materials should provide some sources that might help them to get over the language barrier and difficulties from the differences, because they depended on them.

  • Purpose: In this paper, we provide an illustration of Indonesian youth Social Networking Service (SNS) behavior and its relation to their culinary activity. Specifically, their behavior of culinary activity preferences and also the factors affecting their action of spending their money. Data and methodology: We gathered primary data from stratified random questionnaire survey (406 youth). The gathered data was analyzed using text data mining and statistics using R statistical computing language. Results: 1) We found out why our respondents are interested in following the accounts of SNS food influencers: i.e. visually attracted to the posts, as their reference to find places to dine out, as their reference to try new food menu and to get nostalgic feeling about the food. 2) The respondents decide to actually go to the recommended culinary places because of several factors, specifically, its description (visual and text), location, word of mouth (WoM), the experience of being to that place and price. 3) Important factors affecting culinary spent are income, number of following food influencer account, SNS usage time and their interest when looking at WoM. Conclusions: SNS behavior influences Indonesian youth culinary activity preferences and spent.

A Study on Design of Location Service Protocol using SDL in the IMT-2000 System (SDL을 이용한 IMT-2000 시스템에서의 위치 서비스 프로토콜 설계에 관한 연구)

  • The Location Service (LCS) feature which provides the terminal UE’s geographical location information has been important issues in IMT-2000 system. The existing location positioning methods are classified into the cell ID based, OTDOA, and network assisted GPS. In this paper, a new hybrid location positioning method which combine three of these methods is proposed. Then the LCS protocol is developed under SDL (Specification and Description Language) development environment after designing a new LCS system architecture and behavior. This protocol design covers the LCS functional model and signaling procedure, system architecture, primitive and data structure, and process SDL diagrams.

  • The thesis describes the realization and test of the transport layer operating on the CLNS (Connection Less Network Service) which is specified by ISO 8073 and ADDENDUM 2 protocol. For realization of the transport layer, five modules and interface primitives were definde. This protocol was formally described by SDL (Specification and Description Language) and was programmed in C-language. For verification of the software, protocol tester was implemented and test scenarios were defined. The verification was accomplished based on the test scenarios. Transport Layer software presented in this thesis may be utilized in a real situation with some modifications. Protocol tester presented in this thesis can also be used for verification of other protocol softwares.

  • Recently, the demand for a QA (Question Answering) system for human-machine communication has increased. Among the QA systems, a closed domain QA system that can handle spatial-related questions is called GeoQA. In this study, a new type of graph database, LPG (Labeled Property Graph) was used to overcome the limitations of the RDF (Resource Description Framework) based database, which was mainly used in the GeoQA field. In addition, GraphQL (Graph Query Language), an API-type query language, is introduced to address the fact that the LPG query language is not standardized and the GeoQA system may depend on specific products. In this study, database was built so that answers could be retrieved when spatial-related questions were entered. Each data was obtained from the national spatial information portal and local data open service. The spatial relationships between each spatial objects were calculated in advance and stored in edge form. The user's questions were first converted to GraphQL through FOL (First Order Logic) format and delivered to the database through the GraphQL server. The LPG used in the experiment is Neo4j, the graph database that currently has the highest market share, and some of the built-in functions and QGIS were used for spatial calculations. As a result of building the system, it was confirmed that the user's question could be transformed, processed through the Apollo GraphQL server, and an appropriate answer could be obtained from the database.
