Film bulk acoustic wave resonator (FBAR) technology has attracted a great attention as a promising technology to fabricate the next-generation RF filters mainly because the FBAR technology can be integrated with current Si processing. The RF filters are basically composed of several FBAR devices connected in parallel and in series, and their characteristics depend highly on the FBAR device characteristics. Thus, it is important to design high quality FBAR devices by device or process optimization. This kind of effort may enhance the FBAR device characteristics, eventually leading to FBAR filters of high performance. In this paper, we describe the methods to more effectively improve the resonance characteristics of the FBAR devices.
In this paper, the resonance characteristics of ZnO-based film bulk acoustic resonator (FBAR) devices with high-quality multi-layer reflectors are proposed. The ultrathin Cr film $(300\;\AA-thick)$ between $SiO_2$ film and W film is formed by a sputtering-deposition in order to enhance the adherence at their interfaces. The resonance frequency was observed to vary with the number of the reflectors. This seems to be attributed to the change in the effective thickness of the ZnO film. Also, increasing the number of layers has led to a significant improvement of the series/parallel quality factor.

This paper presents the resonance characteristics of the ZnO-based FBAR devices with multilayered Bragg reflectors with Cr adhesion layer inserted between $SiO_2$ and W layers. Due to the post- annealing, the return loss ($S_{11}$) and series/parallel quality factor are significantly improved when compared with the non-post annealing. This post-annealing method seems to be a very efficient way to improve the resonance characteristics of FBAR devices.
Reactors are connected with capacitors to passive filter circuits for reducing harmonics caused by power conversion application. This passive filter frequently gets out of order by voltage and current stress. Especially filter reactor has too much voltage harmonics components, its trouble rate is higher than capacitor. In this paper, we analyzed voltage and current of reactor and capacitor used for passive filter by simulation and measurement. If reactor has a tolerance on variation of reactance value, series resonance frequency is different from originally filter design frequency and parallel resonance can be generated at the close point of the former. Because filter absorbs harmonic component of non-linear load, much of harmonic voltage has been impacted on reactor.

This paper presents the farced resonant characteristics of an electrically small cavity partially filled with dielectric material. The method of moments with Galerkins procedure is used to determine the farced resonant characteristics of the small cavity. In order to obtain the equations of the external reactance gives rise to the farced resonance at a given frequency, the cavity with external reactance can be treated as two-port network which has the admittance parameters. Numerical results show that the forced resonance, series or parallel resonance, can be obtained by the controlling the external reactance. To verify the availability of the theoretical analysis, experiments are carried out for the bakelite as the material by measuring the length of external reactance at operating frequencies.
LCL filters are widely used in high-order harmonics attenuation of output currents in grid-connected inverters. However, output currents of grid-connected inverters with LCL filters can become unstable because of the resonance of the filters. Given that the characteristics of output currents in inverters mostly depend on filter performance, the exact analysis of filters by considering parasitic components is necessary for both harmonics attenuation and current control. LCL filters have three or four parasitic components: the series and/or parallel resistance of the filter capacitor and the series resistance of the two filter inductors. Most studies on LCL filters have focused on the parasitic components of the filter capacitor. Although several studies have addressed the parasitic components of the filter inductor at the inverter side, no study has yet investigated the concurrent effects of series resistance in both filter inductors in detail. This paper analyzes LCL filters by considering series resistance in both filter inductors; it proposes an active damping method based on the virtual series resistance of LCL filters. The performance of the proposed active damping is then verified through both simulation and experiment using Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulator(HILS).
In this study, the dynamic interaction between an Arctic Spar and drifting level ice is examined in time domain using the newly developed ice-hull-mooring coupled dynamics program. The in-house program, CHARM3D, which is the hull-riser-mooring coupled dynamic simulator is extended by coupling with the open-source discrete element method (DEM) simulator, LIGGGHTS. In the LIGGGHTS module, the parallel-bonding method is implemented to model the level ice using an assembly of multiple bonded spherical particles. As a case study, a spread-moored Artic Spar platform, whose hull surface near waterline is the inverted conical shape, is chosen. To determine the breaking-related DEM parameter (the critical bonding strength), the four-point numerical bending test is used. A series of numerical simulations is systematically performed under the various ice conditions including ice drift velocity, flexural strength, and thickness. Then, the effects of these parameters on the ice force, platform motions, and mooring tensions are discussed. The simulations reveal various features of dynamic interactions between the drifting ice and moored platform for various ice conditions including the novel synchronous resonance at low ice speed. The newly developed simulator is promising and can repeatedly be used for the future design and analysis including ice-floater-mooring coupled dynamics.
This paper is related to a new solar power conditioner for a built-in step-up chopper function. In the first step-up chopper proposed solar PV power conditioner for mutually connected in series with the input voltage of the bypass diodes are respectively connected to the positive terminal should install the mutual boosting chopper diode connected in series with the boost chopper switching element between the two power supply and at the same time the first and the second was connected to a second diode and a resonance inductor and a snubber capacitor in series with each other. And the common connection point between the bypass diode and the step-up chopper and the step-up chopper diode common connection point of the switching elements of the input voltage was set to the boost inductor for storing energy. In addition, between the step-up chopper and the step-up chopper diode and a switching element of a joint connection point of the first auxiliary diode and the second common connection point of the auxiliary diode was provided, the resonance capacitor. Between the step-up chopper and the step-up chopper diode and a switching element of a joint connection point and the common connection point of the resonance inductor snubber capacitor and connecting the third secondary diode, between two power supply lines is characterized by configuring the DC link capacitor bus lines in parallel. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the switching loss through, DC link bus lines, as well as there could seek miniaturization and weight reduction of the power conditioner itself by using a common capacitor of the non-polar non-polar electrolytic capacitor having a capacitor, the service life of the circuit can be extended and it is possible to greatly reduce the loss can be greatly improve the reliability of the product and the operation of the product itself.
In the case of conventional high frequency inverter, with damage of switch by surge voltage when switch gets into compulsion extinction by load accident and so on because reactor is connected by series to switch, or there was problem of conduction loss by reactor's resistivity component, Also, it has controversial point of that can not ignore conduction loss of switch in complete work kind action of soft switching. In this paper, as high frequency induction heating power supply, we propose half bridge type multi resonance soft switching high frequency inverter topology that can realize high amplitude operation of load current with controlling switch current by multiplex resonance, mitigating surge voltage when switch gets into compulsion extinction and to be complete operation of zero current switching by opposit parallel connected reactor to inverter switch. and do circuit analysis for choice of most suitable circuit parameter of circuit
