한국형 고속전철의 추진시스템 설계 및 성능 연구 (Design and Performance Study of Propulsion System for Korean High Speed Train)

  • This study was carried out about the design and the performance study of propulsion system for Korean High Speed Train of maximum operating speed of 350km/h. The propulsion system was studied to two parts the formation of power transmission and the performance of traction system base on Korean-TGV. For maximum operating speed of 350km/h at Seoul-Pusan high speed line, the power of train should be have the remaining acceleration of 0.058m/s/s and the slopeability of 6%o. This performance study of propulsion system would be continued for defining of adhesion factor, friction factor and aerodynamic factor assumed to analysis and simulation.

  • Tins paper is designed (ⅰ) to envisage the characteristics of high speed rail stations that will be in operation when the Seoul-Pusan line currently under construction is completed and (ⅱ) to assist policy makers in mapping out transportation strategies by providing insights into how advanced countries have handled problems under similar circumstances. Ultimately, tins paper intends to present alternatives of trans-modal systems in an attempt to set a direction for future policy making in the high speed rail sector. The alternatives recommended in tins report stress two important elements for maximized utility of high speed rail: One is to maintain consistency in transportation policies and the other is to attract consumers to the station areas.

  • High speed railway is under construction from Seoul to Pusan. A traveling train is large single phase load that consumes 14MW power in feeding system of high speed railroad. In this paper, measurement scheme and method of power system harmonics which are generated from those loads in railroad supply system are described. This measurement scheme will be used as a first step to pave a way to power quality management due to harmonic distortion by the highspeed rail way.

  • When a high speed train enters a tunnel, wind speed passing through the train in a tunnel section becomes higher due to the reverse flow to the direction of the train. The higher wind speed gives more aerodynamic forces to the pantograph on the train. Therefore, it is necessary to perform aerodynamic and dynamic analyses in order to check whether the current collection of the high speed train, entering the tunnel, still remain permissible or not. In this paper, the aerodynamic analysis has been performed under the assumption that a high speed train at 300 km/h enters a tunnel whose cross sectional area Is 107/㎡ and length is 1000m. In consideration of the aerodynamic analysis results, the dynamic analysis has been performed based on the catenary and pantograph dynamic models in SEOUL-PUSAN high speed rail, using the GASENDO developed by RTRI. In addition, the fatigue life of the contact wire has been reviewed using the Goodman diagram. Based on the analysis results, it is concluded that the increase of the aerodynamic forces on the pantograph in the tunnel section shall not affect characteristics of current collection adversely except that motions of the pantograph may be constrained by bump-stops.

  • This paper sums up the study of the soundproof facilities to be placed on the test track section within the Seoul-Pusan H.S.T project. The objective of this study is to determine optimum design of soundproof including height, length, location, sound absorbing materials for test track(chonan-taejon). This paper shows the model to design the shape and materials of noise barrier for high speed trains(TGV, ICE, etc). Noise prediction is to be conducted by MITHRA. Various parameters affecting the noise propagation outdoors are surveyed and discussed in relation to H.S.T. noise.

  • Tn this study, the crashworthy design of the full rake of KHST (Korean High Speed Train under development in G7-project) is numerically evaluated using 2-dimensional crash dynamics. The results of KHST are compared with those of TGV-K (TGV for Seoul-Pusan line). KHST shows better crashworthy behaviors after impact. Specifically, impact forces, decelerations and overriding displacements are much reduced in KHST All the design guidelines under SNCF accident scenario (collision against a movable rigid mass of 15 ton at 110 km/h) are satisfied in KHST.

고속철도에서 슬릿커버 완충공의 터널 미기압파 저감성능 (Experimental Study on the Slit Cover Hood for Reducing the Micro Pressure Waves in High-Speed Train-Tunnel Interfaces)

  • Purpose of the present is to investigate the food configuration at a tunnel entrance for reducing the micro pressure wave that is generated according to train speed. Two configurations were examined for tunnel of 0.5 km length. The experimental results show that a slit cover hood installed at the entrance of the tunnel reduces the maximum micro pressure wave by 41.2%, and a configuration with a slit cover hood installed at the entrance and a 45$^{\circ}$slanted portal at the exit of the tunnel suppresses it by 47.7%.

  • The purpose of present study is to investigate for reducing micro pressure waves generated according to train speeds $(240km/h{\sim}380km/h)$ through tunnels with countermeasures as followings; the hood configuration in tunnel entrance. We developed hoods for tunnel of 0.5 km length in the condition of tunnel cross-section area of $107m^2$ on the slab track. According to the results the maximum micro-pressure wave is reduced by 41.2% for the slit hood installed at the entrance of the tunnel and reduced by 47.7% for the slit hood installed at the entrance of the tunnel and the $45^{\circ}$ slanted portal at the exit of the tunnel

  • The compression wave produced when a high-speed train enters a tunnel propagates along the tunnel ahead of the train. The micro pressure wave related to He compression wave is a special physics Phenomena created by high-speed train-tunnel interfaces. On this work, the method for reducing the micro pressure wave is to delay the gradient of the compression wave by using aerodynamic structures. The objective of this paper is to determine the optimum angle of the slanted portal using the moving model rig. According to the results of the present study, the maximum value of micro pressure wave is reduced by 19.2% fer the $45^{\circ}$ slanted portal installed at the entrance of the tunnel and reduced by 41.9% far the $45^{\circ}$ slanted portals at the entrance and exit of the tunnel. Also it is reduced by 34.6% for the $30^{\circ}$ slanted portals installed at the entrance and exit of the tunnel.
