Face recognition presents a challenging problem in the field of image analysis and computer vision, and as such has received a great deal of attention over the last few years because of its many applications in various domains. Face recognition techniques can be broadly divided into three categories based on the face data acquisition methodology: methods that operate on intensity images; those that deal with video sequences; and those that require other sensory data such as 3D information or infra-red imagery. In this paper, an overview of some of the well-known methods in each of these categories is provided and some of the benefits and drawbacks of the schemes mentioned therein are examined. Furthermore, a discussion outlining the incentive for using face recognition, the applications of this technology, and some of the difficulties plaguing current systems with regard to this task has also been provided. This paper also mentions some of the most recent algorithms developed for this purpose and attempts to give an idea of the state of the art of face recognition technology.

Much western philosophical thinking is constrained by ocularcentrism. Hence, multi-sensory experiences hold the most prominent position in contemporary art, and visual tactility, where feelings of touch through sight, become a powerful medium of expression in fashion. This study analyzes visual tactility in Alexander McQueen's design, where design elements are in focus. This investigation aims to bring the concept of visual tactility in fashion, and by doing so, enhance valuable aesthetic possibility. The result of the study is as follows: First, Creative silhouette is something that is constructed by his impeccable cutting and tailoring skills. In fabrics, he often suggests unconventional materials by uncompromising approach to fashion. Color contrasts refer to color sensibility, which reminds of grotesque image. McQueen's aggressive aesthetic awareness results in visual tactility in fashion.

For generation and analysis of the multi-sensory image, we propose a new three dimensional (3D) modeling method considering an iternal heat source. We represent the heat conduction process within th object as an equivalent thermal circuit. Therefore, without a complex computation, our modeling approach can obtain thermal features of the object. By using the faceted model, the proposed method can express the accurate visual signatures of the object. Comparing the estimates datum with the obtained surface temperatures, we have demonstrated that the proposed method can provide a precise thermal features. The thermal images by out model is applicable to simulate a tracking loop of an IR missile.

무인 항공기의 주요 목적은 유인 정찰기의 최대 단점인 조종사의 인명 손실을 제거하구 원하는 지역 또는 물체를 정찰하는데 두고 있다. 업무를 수행하기 위해서는 조종사 눈 역할을 할 수 있는 카메라가 필요하며, 획득한 정보 또는 목표물이 무엇인지를 구분하여야 한다. 본 보고서는 임무수행을 위한 영상감지장치의 선정에 필요한 요구 사항을 기술하였다.

Segmental zoster paresis (SZP) is a clinically rare complication of herpes zoster. But it has not been reported that acute cerebral motor cortical infarction coincidentally occurred in SZP. A 86-year-old woman was admitted due to pain, tingling sensation, and weakness of left arm. She had an acute onset of pain and tingling sensation in left arm at first day, shoulder weakness at second day, and multifocal vesicles at fourth day. Deep tendon reflexes of left arm were decreased than right. Electromyography showed an axonal polyneuropathy at superior trunk level of left brachial plexus. Median and ulnar sensory evoked potential tests were normal. Brain MRI showed a high signal in right primary motor cortex on diffusion weighted image. We report a case of acute cerebral motor cortical infarction coincidentally occurred in SZP.

Multiple myeloma, a multicentric hematological malignancy, is the most common primary tumor of the spine. As epidural myeloma causing spinal cord compression is a rare condition, its therapeutic approach and clinical results have been reported to be diverse, and no clear guidelines for therapeutic decision have been established. Three patients presented with progressive paraplegia and sensory disturbance. Image and serological studies revealed multiple myeloma and spinal cord compression caused by epidural myeloma. Emergency radiotherapy and steroid therapy were performed in all three cases. However, their clinical courses and results were distinctly different. Following review of our cases and the related literature, we suggest a systematic therapeutic approach for these patients to achieve better clinical results.

This study was attempted to standard Yukwa recipies by proposing optimal conditions for soaking time and the number of beating. Soaking time and the number of beating had effects on the number of peak, implying that 15 days of soaking time at $15^{\circ}C$ and 160 times of beating would be required. In Yukwa's microstructural image, the better groups were over 15 days of soaking time and as number of beating increased, the appearance improved. The longer soaking time, the better tenderness and expansion volume. The number of beating had significant effects on all sensory evaluation except volume. Response surface model showed that the optimal condition would be at least 15 days of soaking and 319 times of beating.

Smart device has become an affordable main computing resource for robotic ap-plications in accordance with a fast growth of mobile internet environment. Since the computing power of smart device has been increased, smart device based ro-bot system attempts to replace traditional robot applications with laptop-based system. Methodologies for acquisition of remote sensory information and control of various types of robots using smart device have been proposed recently. In this paper, we propose a robot control system using a monitoring program and a communication protocol. The proposed system is a combination of an educa-tional programming oriented robot named EPOR-S. as small service robot plat-form and a smart device. Through a simulation study using image processing, the feasibility of combination of the proposed robot monitoring program and control system was verified.

The most important technique for an indoor robot navigation is to find out the direction and the distance from the current location to the destination through the information achieved from the sensor. For this purpose, we suggest sensor-based local homing method which compares the destination sensory data with the current location. As for the sensors, we use the CCD camera and the ultrasonic sensor, and recorded entire 360 degree panoramic data. We match the features of the image data, and the distance and the direction of the matched point will be considered as fuzzy numbers. Through a simple fuzzy arithmetic, we infer the geometric relations between the current location and the destination location.

무수 알코올로 내장신경차단 완료후 양측 서혜부 상하의 지각 탈실, 이상감감이 합병되었다, 차단 6일 후부터 지속적 경막외차단을 시작하여 점차 이상감각 및 통증은 조절되었으며 지각탈실 부위도 점차 축소되었다.
