ZnO 기반 NO2 가스센서의 MgZnO와 MgO을 통한 성능 향상에 대한 연구 (Study on the Performance Improvement of ZnO-based NO2 Gas Sensor through MgZnO and MgO)

  • Brush-like ZnO hierarchical nanostructures decorated with MgxZn1-xO (x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5) were fabricated and examined for application to a gas sensor. They were synthesized using vapor phase growth (VPG) on indium tin oxide (ITO) substrates. To generate electronic accumulation at ZnO surface, MgZnO nanoparticles were prepared by sol-gel method, and the ratio of Mg and Zn was adjusted to optimize the device for NO2 gas detection. As the electrons in the accumulation layer generated by the heterojunction reacted faster and more frequently with the gas, the sensitivity and speed improved. When tested as sensing materials for gas sensors at 100 ppm NO2 at 300℃, these MgZnO decorated ZnO nanostructures exhibited an improvement from 165 to 514 times compared to pristine ZnO. The response and recovery time of the MgZnO decorated ZnO samples were shorter than those of the pristine ZnO. Various analyzing techniques, including field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) were employed to confirm the growth morphology, atomic composition, and crystalline information of the samples, respectively.

  • 본 연구는 고성능 유연 전극 소재 개발을 위한 기초 연구로, 유연 전극 소재의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 금속 산화물 CuO nanoparticles (CuO NPs)를 도입하여 탄소나노튜브 섬유(carbon nanotube fiber; CNT fiber) 표면 위에 전기화학적 증착시켜 CNT fiber/CuO NPs 전극을 합성하고, 이를 전기화학적 비효소 글루코스 센서에 적용하였다. 이 전극의 표면 및 elemental composition 분석은 주사전자 현미경(SEM)과 에너지분산형 분광분석법(EDS)을 이용하였으며, 전극의 전기화학적 특성 및 글루코스에 대한 센싱 성능은 순환전압 전류법(CV)과 전기화학 임피던스법(EIS), 시간대전류법(CA)을 통해 조사되었다. CNT fiber/CuO NPs 전극은 CNT fiber의 우수한 특성과 함께 CuO NPs 도입에 따른 약 2.6배의 유효 전극면적(active surface area) 증가 효과와 11배 정도의 향상된 전자전달(electron transfer) 특성 및 우수한 전기적 촉매 활성(electrocatalytic activity) 덕분에 CNT fiber 유연 기반 전극의 글루코스 검출에 대한 성능이 개선되었다. 따라서, 본 연구를 기반으로 다양한 나노구조체를 활용한 고성능 유연 전극 소재 개발이 기대된다.

  • DPCM의 선형예측기를 비감광성 원소(dummy pixel)를 가지고 있는 선형 감광성 전하결합소자(CCD)를 광전자 시스템으로 구현하는 방법을 제시하였다. 종래의 시스템과 마찬가지로 이 시스템은 입력광원, 공간여파기(마스크), 선형감광성 CCD의 3부분으로 구성되었다. 비감광성 원소에 의한 시간지연을 고려하여 종래의 마스크를 변형하여 각 예측계수를 하나 이상의 마스크 원소에 분산시킨, 새로운 방식의 분산형 마스크를 제시하고 이 마스크를 사용할 때의 특성을 이론적으로 분석하였으며 실험으로 확인하였다.

  • The fusion of a different kind sensor is fusion of the obtained data by the respective independent technology. This is a important technology for the construction of 3D spatial information. particularly, information is variously realized by the fusion of LiDAR and mobile scanning system and digital map, fusion of LiDAR data and high resolution, LiDAR etc. This study is to generate union DEM and digital ortho image by the fusion of LiDAR data and high resolution image and monitor precisely topology, building, trees etc in urban areas using the union DEM and digital ortho image. using only the LiDAR data has some problems because it needs manual linearization and subjective reconstruction.

  • This paper presents a force/displacement sensing system to measure penetration depths and machining forces during pattering operation. This sensing system consists of a leaf spring mechanism and a capacitive sensor, which is mounted on a PZT driven in-feed motion stage with 1nm resolution. The sample is moved by a xy scanning motion stage with 5nm resolution. The constructed system was applied to nano indentation experiments, and the load-displacement curves of silicon(111) and aluminum were obtained. Then, the indentation samples were measured by AFM. Experimental results demonstrated that the developed system has the ability of preforming force/depth sensing indentations

  • Detecting the ego-lane of a vehicle (the lane on which the vehicle is currently running) is one of the basic techniques for a smart car. Vision sensing is a widely-used method for the ego-lane detection. Existing studies usually find road lane lines by detecting edge pixels in the image from a vehicle camera, and then connecting the edge pixels using Hough Transform. However, this approach takes rather long processing time, and too many straight lines are often detected resulting in false detections in various road conditions. In this paper, we find the lane lines by scanning only a limited number of horizontal lines within a small image region of interest. The horizontal image line scan replaces the edge detection process of existing methods. Automatic thresholding and spatiotemporal filtering procedures are also proposed in order to make our method reliable. In the experiments using real road images of different conditions, the proposed method resulted in high success rate.

  • This paper presents an ultra precision machining system using a high sensitive force sensing module to measure machining forces and penetration displacement in a tip-based nanopatterning. The force sensing module utilizes a leaf spring mechanism and a capacitive displacement sensor and it has been designed to provide a measuring range from 80 ${\mu}N$ to 8 N. This force sensing module is mounted on a PZT driven in-feed motion stage with 1 nm resolution. The sample can be moved by X-Y scanning motion stage with 5 nm resolution. In nano indentation experiments and patterning experiments, the machining forces were controlled and monitored by the force sensing module. Then, the patterned samples were measured by AFM. Experimental results demonstrated that the developed system can be used as an effective device in nano indentation and nanopatterning operation.

비전센서를 이용한 용접선 자동추적에 관한 연구 (A Study on Automatic Seam Tracking using Vision Sensor)

  • A CCD camera with a laser stripe was applied to realized the automatic weld seam tracking. The 3-dimensional information obtained from the vision system made it possible to generate the weld torch path. The adaptive Hough transformation was used to extract laser stripes an to obtain specific weld points. It takes relatively long time to process image on-line control using the basic control using the basic Hough transformation, but it has a tendency of robustness over the noises such as spatter. For this reason, it was complemented with adaptive Hough transformation to have an on-line processing ability for scanning specific weld points. The dead zone, where the sensing of weld line is impossible, was eliminated by rotating the camera with its rotating axis centered at the weld torch. When weld lines were detected, the camera angle was controlled in order to get the minimum image data for sensing of weld lines. Consequently, the image processing time was reduced.

  • Thermal environment of greenhouse was investigated by thermo-tracer in this study. The Thermo-tracer is a high-sensitivity infrared thermometer of non-contact type. The infrared energy emitted from the measured object is converted into an electrical signal by the detector(HgCdTe) and display as a color or black & white thermal image by way of optical scanning, The experiment was conducted for Venlo-type greenhouse with pad & fan system. The temperature difference between measured by Thermo-trace and measured by HOBO sensor is maximum 0.8$^{\circ}C$. Thermo-trace is possible to use for the thermal environment analysis and diagnosis of a cooling and heating system of greenhouse.

  • The prototype of the radiometric calibration algorithm, including the correction of scan mirror's angle, has been developed for the stationary meteorological sensor, firstly in Korea. We use this system on GOES-12 to evaluate two coefficients, slope and intercept. The evaluated coefficients show good agreement with the NESDIS's results for the five-case data. The calculated coefficients have been applied to the conversion from the measured counts to the radiance and the converting methods according to the scanning are investigated to enhance the radiometric accuracy.
