연령, 성별, 사회측정적지위에 따른 아동의 자기능력지각과 부모의 책임지각 (Perceived competence of Children and Perception of responsibilities of Parents Based on Age, Sex, Sociometric Status)

  • The purpose of this study is to see difference based on age, sex, sociometric ststus for perceived competence of children and difference about perception of responsibilities degree of parents of these children. the content of study as follows. 1. How is the difference about perceived competence of children based on age, sex, sociometric status. 2. How is the difference about perception of responsibilities of children based on age, sex, sociometric status. 3. How is the relationship between father and mother. The subject of this study is children and their parents of 126 persons of the third grade, sixth grade of S elementary school, the second grade of S middle school, the second grade of S girls' middle school which are located in Pusan city. This study used a peer nomination among sociometric assesment method as sociolity assessment means, self-perception profile for children of Harter(1985) as perceived competence assessment means of children and used self-perception profile for children which amends fits for parents. the collected data are managed by SPSS/PC+ program. We analyze three-way ANOVA to verify study question No, one, two, analyze t-verification and Pearson's product moment correlations to verify study question No. three. The result of this study as follows. First, in investigating difference about perceived compretence of children based on age, sex, sociometric status, we can see that children perceive high, self-ability for low ages. Also, boys than girls, popular children than rejected children, neglected children perceive high self-ability. Second, in investigating difference about perception of responsibilities of children based on age, sex, sociometric status, we can see that mother perceive responsibilities in learning sphere, exercise sphere, the whole self-value sphere and father perceive responsibility only in social sphere. Third, in investigating relation between perception of responsibilities of father and mother, this shows that difference between perception of responsibilities of father and mother is not showed ane have (+) interrelation of r=.46(P<.001) between perception of responsibilities of father and perception of responsibilities of mother.

가정환경과 아동의 역량에 대한 자기지각 (Home Environment and Children's Self-Perceived Competence)

  • The present study investigated childrens' self-perceived competence as related to(1) home environment variables (2) school grades and sexes of children. The subjects were 297 fourth-and sixth grade-children selected from two elementary schools on Seoul. The instruments were a children's self-perceived competence scala and the HOME scale. Frequences, correlation, two way-ANONA and multiple regression were used for data analysis. There were correlations between home environment variables and children's self-perceive competence partially. Fourth grade children perceived themselves higher than sixth grade children in global self-worth. Boys perceived themselves higher than girls in physical competence. The variables that influence on children's self-perceived competence very with their grades and sexes.

간이식 수혜자의 자기관리 구조모형 (Structural Equation Modeling of Self-Management of Liver Transplant Recipients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to construct and test a structural equation model of self-management of liver transplant recipients based on self-determination theory. Methods: Participants were 275 outpatients who received liver transplantation. A structured self-report questionnaire was used to assess health care providers' autonomy support, transplant-related characteristics, illness consequence perception, autonomy, competence, family relatedness, depression and self-management. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 program. Results: The modified model showed a good fitness with the data: GFI=.96, RMSEA=.06, CFI=.96, NFI=.93, TLI=.93, PGFI=.43, PNFI=.49. The health care providers' autonomy support, competence, family relatedness and depression were factors with a direct influence on the self-management of liver transplant recipients. The health care providers' autonomy support and illness consequence perception had an indirect influence through competence, family relatedness and depression. However, the transplant-related characteristics and autonomy did not have a significant effect on self-management. This model explained 59.4% of the variance in self-management. Conclusion: The result suggests that continuous education must be done to promote the competence of liver transplant recipients and to encourage the patient to positively perceive their current health condition with a view that enhances one's self-management. Additionally, the liver transplant recipients should be screened for depression, which would affect self-management. Most of all, health care providers, who have the most influence on self-management, should improve therapeutic communication and try to form a therapeutic relationship with the liver transplant recipients.

중학생의 내현적 자기애와 역기능적 분노표현양식의 관계에서 자기역량지각의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Self-perceived Competence on the Relationship between Covert Narcissism and Dysfuntional Anger Expression of Middle School Students)

  • 본 연구는 중학생의 내현적 자기애와 역기능적 분노표현양식의 관계에서 자기역량지각의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기도에 있는 중학교 1학년 413명을 대상으로 내현적 자기애, 자기역량지각, 분노표현양식을 측정하였고 SPSS 20.0을 이용해 자료를 분석하였다. 주요 결과로는 첫째, 내현적 자기애는 자기역량지각의 하위요인 모두와 부적상관을 보이고 역기능적 분노표현양식과는 정적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 내현적 자기애와 역기능적 분노표현양식 사이에서 역량지각의 하위요인인 신체외모와 품행역량 그리고 사회적 수용도와 운동역량이 부분매개효과를 나타냈다. 본 연구결과는 내면의 취약한 자기로 인해 자기애성향을 보일 수 있는 중학생의 특성을 이해하고 순기능의 분노표현으로 적응적인 생활을 위하는데 건강한 자기애 발현을 어떻게 도울 것인지에 대한 그 기초자료를 제공했다는 데 의의가 있다.

유아기 모-자녀 간 애착유형과 정서지능과의 관계 (Child-Mother Attachment and Emotional Intelligence in Early Childhood)

  • Bowlby has proposed that child-mother attachment is important in the child's representation of self. In this study, the child's emotional intelligence was examined in connection with child-mother attachment with a sample of 5-year-olds. The quality of attachment was assessed based on the child's behavior on reunion following a separation, using a SSP (Strange Situation Procedure) system devised by Main and Solomon. The emotional intelligence was assessed with Lee's Scale for young children. The results show significant connections between child-mother attachment and the emotional intelligence. Specific areas of emotional intelligence are related to particular patterns of attachment. Namely, securely attached children are assessed significantly higher than the unsecurely attached, not only in the ability to identify and control their own emotions, but also in the ability to control others' emotional state. Also, securely attached children perceive their social competence significantly higher.

카지노 종사자의 조직문화 인식과 심리적 임파워먼트 (Perceived Organizational Culture and Psychological Empowerment of Employees in Casino Companies)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to verify a role of organizational culture as antecedents to influence psychological empowerment of organizational members, focusing on service workers of casino companies. Therefore, this study sought to examine the question of each clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy culture that the workers perceive to influence their psychological empowerment. Thus, the current study examined the relationship between organizational culture and the psychological empowerment by empirical analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - This study chose four domestic casino companies that are run only for foreigners. Using an offline survey, it analyzed the questionnaire data of the 249 surveys collected from employees working in the sales and service sectors. Independent variables were four types of organizational culture: clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy. Dependent variables were four subcategories of psychological empowerment: meaning, competence, self-determination, and impact. As research methods, the study applied descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis, using SPSS 21.0 statistical program. Results - Among the organizational culture types, the clan and adhocracy cultures, which emphasize flexibility and autonomy, were relatively more important for the psychological empowerment of workers than the hierarchy and market cultures. Clan culture was the most important factor in terms of meaning and competence, and adhocracy culture was the most important factor in self-determination and impact. However, the hierarchy and market cultures that pursue control and stability were also cultural types that positively affected psychological empowerment of the workers. Hierarchy culture showed positive effects on meaning, competence, and impact except self-determination, and market culture had positive effect only on competency. Conclusions - The study found that organizational culture is an important predictor of psychological empowerment of the employees in casino companies and that important organizational culture types may be different for each sub-factor of psychological empowerment. It suggests that casino companies have to try to recognize and secure diverse organizational culture in order to activate psychological empowerment of their employees because they can provide quality service for customers. Therefore, it is necessary to create a harmonious and balanced culture between promoting flexible and autonomous organizational atmosphere, and stably controlling and operating the organization.

자기결정성과 동기요인이 크라우드소싱의 지속적 참여의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (The Influence of Continuing Participation Intention on the Relationship between Self-Determination and Motivation Factors)

  • 인터넷의 일반화와 더불어 신제품 개발과 관련한 아이디어의 원천을 기업 외부에서 찾는 하나의 방식으로 크라우드소싱이 많이 활용되고 있는 시점에서 본 연구는 크라우드소싱에 대한 지속적 참여의도에 미치는 참여자의 자기결정성과 동기 요인에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 크라우드소싱 참여자들의 자기결정성의 세 가지 요인인 자율성, 유능성, 관계성은 참여 동기의 내재적 동기(즐거움과 성취감)에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 외재적 동기인 타인으로부터의 인정과 자기결정성의 요인들이 모두 유의미한 영향을 미치는 반면 금전적인 보상의 외재적 요인에는 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 크라우드소싱의 지속적 참여의도에 영향을 미치는 주요 동기요인은 내재적 동기로서의 즐거움과 외재적 동기인 타인으로부터의 인정 요인이었다. 본 연구는 크라우드소싱 참여자들의 자기결정성에 대한 욕구 충족은 내재적, 외재적 동기를 활성화시켜 지속적인 참여의도에 영향을 미친다는 것을 실증적으로 규명하였다. 그러므로 기업은 성공적인 혁신 혹은 신제품 개발을 위하여 기업 외부에 존재하는 지식을 적극적으로 흡수하기 위하여 크라우드소싱을 활용하는 것이 중요하며 대중의 적극적 참여를 통해 지속적이고 장기적인 관계를 구축함으로써 경쟁력 있는 가치를 공동으로 창출할 수 있는 시스템을 만들어야 할 것이다.

Preferences for Specific Identity-based Message Type under A Chinese Cultural Background

  • The current research aims to explore which type of identity-based message can be more persuasive for Chinese consumers to form positive restaurant brand attitude based on their cultural orientation, and to examine the roles of brand objective relevance and psychological power state in the persuasive process. The study employs a 2(identity expression focus: warmth vs. competence) × 2(message description manner: identity-defining vs. identity-referencing) × 2(experienced power state: high vs. low) between-subjects design, and conducts an online survey where 240 Chinese participants in total has responded to the questionnaires. SPSS and AMOS programs have been used to examine the hypotheses. The findings suggest that, first, the warmth-focused messages (identity-defining messages) more positively affected Chinese consumers' object relevance than the competence-focused messages (identity-referencing messages); Second, high power-experienced Chinese consumers rather than low power consumers tend to perceive more object relevance at the warmth self-defining messages; Third, brand object relevance revealed a mediation effect in the process of the warmth-focused messages (identity-defining messages) affecting brand attitude. This research offers new insight into the relationships between consumers' cultural orientation, understandings of power, and identity-based consumer behavior, suggesting marketers should take those social influences and consumer diversities into account when developing the message to persuade consumers.

Managing Business Quality Using a Performance Management System

  • Purpose - The study's aim is to assess performance quality delivered through a performance management system. The case study first measures the effectiveness of the present performance management system of Bhushan Steel Ltd. (BSL), and then secondarily analyzes the employee training impact. Research design, data, and methodology - A case study research approach using a survey was followed. The final sample size was 50, with a simple random sampling technique used. Primary data came from the company itself and the secondary from books, the Internet, journals, etc. Results - BSL employee appraisals are used for many developmental aspects such as competence in the present job, improvements, performance development, and training needs. The results indicate that individual performance can improve if employees perceive the system as more transparent (i.e., not so confidential). Conclusions - Overall, the BSL employees think that the company appraisal system is useful; however, to make it better the company has to improve many aspects including appraisals based on supervisor observations. The company could use a self-appraisal and a 360-appraisal approach to improve such assessments.

운동/피트니스앱 속성이 앱 활용에 미치는 영향: 자기결정성 이론을 기반으로 한 융복합적 관점에서의 탐구 (The effect of Attributes of Exercise/Fitness Apps on App Usage: A Convergence Perspective Based on the Self-Determination Theory)

  • 본 연구는 1)개인의 운동/피트니스 앱 속성에 대한 인식과 2) 운동/피트니스 행위에 대한 동기가 앱에 대한 유용성 인식 및 앱 활용에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 운동/피트니스 앱을 이용하는 20-30대 남녀 323명을 대상으로 조사한 결과, 기본심리욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 앱의 속성이 이용자들로 하여금 앱의 유용성을 인식하도록 만드는 중요한 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 사용하고 있는 운동/피트니스 앱이 자율성 및 유능성 관련 속성을 갖고 있다고 인식할수록, 해당 앱을 더욱 유용하게 평가하는 경향이 있었다. 관계성 관련 속성 인식은 앱 유용성 인식에 주효과는 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 개인의 운동에 대한 자율적 동기와 상호작용효과가 나타났다. 또한 이들 기본심리 욕구와 관련된 속성에 대한 인식은 인식된 유용성을 통해 간접적으로 앱 활용에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 건강앱이라는 정보기술을 심리 및 보건학의 융복합적 관점에서 연구한 본 연구의 이러한 결과는 건강앱 개발 및 평가에 관한 실무적 함의를 제공한다.
