대한지역사회영양학회지 게재 논문에서의 한국인 비만 판정에 관한 연구 - 1996~2011년 게재 논문 분석 - (A Study on Classification of Obesity for Koreans based on the Articles in the Korean Journal of Community Nutrition - Articles Enlisted from 1996 to 2011 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide information on obesity assessment for Koreans. Among total of 1012 research papers enlisted in the Korean J Community Nutrition form 1996 to 2011, 248 articles were examined in which subjects were divided into more than 2 groups by obesity rate. About the method of anthropometric data collection, more than half of the research papers examined 52.5% and 28.7% of studies utilized the directly measured data and self-described data, respectively. About the utilization of obesity assessment methods, indirect methods of weight-height index (BMI, BMI percentile, and R$\ddot{o}$hrer index) and PIBW (WLR, Broca index, and KDA) were 62.4% and 23.2%, respectably, and the direct method of percent body fat assessment was only 9.3%. The most frequently utilized methods were WLR in under primary and primary school children, and BMI in the middle and high school students and in adults. For primary school students, WLR was the most frequently utilized method up to 2007, but it changed to BMI percentile afterward. Broca Index was no longer utilized since 2008. There were no articles utilizing BMI percentile and R$\ddot{o}$hrer index for obesity assessment in adults. Criteria for obesity assessment were not consistent among research papers: for example, % body fat, 19~40%; BMI, 20~30; BMI percentile, 85th or 95th. In the case of PIBW, 120% of ideal weight was the most frequently utilized criterion for obesity. Based on these findings, we suggest that proper methods and criteria of obesity assessment for each age group should be determined and proclaimed.

Impacts of the Journal Evaluation Program of the Korean Association of Medical Journal Editors (KAMJE) on the Quality of the Member Journals

  • Background: In 1997 the Korean Association of Medical Journal Editors (KAMJE) instituted a program to evaluate member journals. Journals that passed the initial evaluation were indexed in the KoreaMed. Here, we report changes in measures of quality of the KAMJE member journals during the last 20 years. Methods: Quality measures used in the study comprised 3 assessment categories; self-assessment by journal editors, assessment of the journals by KAMJE reviewers, and by Korean health science librarians. Each used detailed criteria to score the journals on a scale of 0 to 5 or 6 in multiple dimensions. We compared scores at baseline evaluation and those after 7 years for 129 journals and compared improvements in journals indexed vs. not-indexed by the Web of Science (Science Citation Index Expanded; SCIE). Results: Among 251 KAMJE member journals at the end of 2015, 227 passed evaluation criteria and 129 (56%) had both baseline and 7-year follow-up assessment data. The journals showed improvement overall (increase in median [interquartile range; IQR] score from baseline, 0.47 [0.64]; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.44-0.61; P < 0.001) and within each category (median [IQR] increase by editor's assessment, 0.17 [0.83]; 95% CI, 0.04-0.26; P = 0.007; by reviewer's, 0.45 [1.00]; 95% CI, 0.29-0.57; P < 0.001; by librarian's, 1.75 [1.08]; 95% CI, 1.77-2.18, P < 0.001). Before the foundation of KAMJE in 1996, there were only 5 Korean medical journals indexed in the MEDLINE and none in SCIE, but 24 journals in the MEDLINE and 34 journals in SCIE were indexed by 2016. Conclusion: The KAMJE journal evaluation program successfully contributes improving the quality of the member journals.

대학생 와인소비자와 와인전문가의 와인 미각 평가 차이 분석 (Wine Gustative Assessment Gap Analysis of College Student Wine Consumers and Wine Experts)

  • This study was to evaluate the taste of the wine assessment gap analysis to compare the taste of the wine intended for college student wine consumers and wine experts. Research analysis was carried out frequency analysis to the strength of the wine taste a difference in the intensity of the consistency review and wine for the wine flavor between the two groups. According to result, red wine, bitter and salty taste was perceived higher. For white wines are perceived sweetness of wine was sour and higher consumer groups. Body was found that wine experts perceive higher. The Second difficulty is when college student wine consumers selected wine got another show to the lack of information, lack of expertise, price, taste, the combination of food. Another wine on difficult points during the wine expert wine recommendations wine selection, price, prejudices then guest it showed a preference and communication, considering that the customer's budget, customer preferences, taste and aroma, the combination of the food and the customer response was configured. Although the criteria have different tastes for wine through college student wine consumers if future studies presented by symbolic reference to the wine tasting, can be self-objectification of subjective criteria subjective wine experts are wine consumers to take advantage of these data.

청소년의 월경전기 변화 (Premenstrual Changes in Adolescents)

  • To assess premenstrual changes in adolescents, a self rating retrospective premenstrual assessment from(PAF) and a prospective daily rating form(DRF) were administered to 230 high school students who reported premenstrual changes. The results were as follows 1) According to typological categories of retrospective premenstrual assessment form, the most commonly reported changes in mood and behavior were major depressive syndrome(40.0%), impulsive syndrome(20.9%). Especially among the subtype of depressive syndrome, hostility feature and withdrawal feature were most frequent. The most commonly reported changes in physical condition were general discomfort(73.5%), fatigue(33.9%). 50.9% of all subjects reported impaired social function. 2) 41.2% of the subjects who met the criteria for typological categories of retrospective premenstrual assessment form were confirmed by prospective daily rating form. 3) According to different criteria of percent change method of assessing symptom change, 38.7% of all subjects had at least one mild premenstrual change and 23.5% had at least one moderate premenstrual change. 4) Using prospective daily rating form, overall psychological changes were confirmed more frequently than physical changes. Of the mild premenstrual changes, 'low energy, tired & weak', 'less or impaired work' were most common changes. Of the moderate premenstrual changes, the most common change was 'low energy, tired & weak'. 5) As attitude toward menstruation, 44.9% of the subjects with confirmed premenstrual changes had more negative attitude(disgusted) toward menstruation. 6) The subjects with confirmed mild or moderate premenstrual changes had only dysphoric mood changes or both physical and dysphoric mood changes, but did not have only physical changes. These results suggest that retrospective reports of premenstrual changes were partially confirmed by daily prospective ratings. A substantial number of adolescents appeared to experience premenstrual changes, and the most common confimed premenstrual change of mild or moderate severity was 'low energy, tired and weak'.

컴퓨터 교양 과목에 대한 학생들의 자가 평가와 성취도 분석 (The student self-assessment and achievement analysis for computer liberal arts lecture)

  • 대학의 컴퓨터 OA 관련 강의에서는 주로 고급 워드프로세싱 문서, 프레젠테이션, 스프레드시트 문서 작성을 다루고 있다. 또한 대학에서 사용하는 대부분의 강의 평가에서는 학생들의 만족도와 학생들의 OA 사용 능력 평가를 수강 학생들의 주관적인 판단에 의해서 평가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대학에서의 OA 관련 강의를 수강 전과 후에 대학생들 스스로 자가 진단할 수 있는 설문을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 제안한 설문을 통해 학생들을 평가한 후 학생들이 학기 중에 취득한 점수와 비교하여 좀 더 객관적으로 학생들의 컴퓨터 OA 사용 정도 및 컴퓨터 사용 능력 배양 정도를 분석하여 강의의 질을 유지하며 학생들의 특성에 맞는 강의를 유도하고자 한다.

중학교 과학 수업에서 학생주도평가가 성취정서와 과학개념이해에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Student-led Assessment on Students' Achievement Emotions and Science Concept Understanding in Middle School Science Class)

  • 이 연구는 중학교 과학 수업에서 학생주도평가가 성취정서와 과학개념이해에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 중소도시 소재 중학교 3학년 7학급 중 실험집단으로 선정된 4개 학급은 학생주도평가를 실시하고, 비교 집단(3개 학급)은 교사주도평가를 실시하였다. 학생주도평가는 학습자가 주도적으로 학습 목표 설정과 평가 기준을 개발하여 자기평가와 동료평가를 실시하는 4단계로 구성하였고, 개발한 7개 평가 활동을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 학생주도평가는 긍정적 성취정서를 향상시키고, 부정적 성취정서를 완화시키는데 효과를 보였으며 중학생의 과학개념이해를 향상시켰다. 학생들은 학습목표 설정에 주도적으로 참여하고, 평가 기준을 개발하여 자기평가와 동료평가를 반복적으로 수행하며 자신의 도달 정도를 파악하고, 학습 과정에서 부족한 점을 보완하는 반복적인 반성적 사고를 거친다. 따라서 학생주도평가는 학습에 대한 책임감을 향상시키고 지속적으로 과학개념이해 정도를 점검할 수 있도록 하여 과학개념이해를 높이는 도구로써 활용될 수 있다.

Relationships between Intermittent Locking History and Self-Reported Bruxism in Temporomandibular Joint

  • Purpose: To evaluate aggravating factors of intermittent locking among temporomandibular joint using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and diagnostic criteria for temporomandibular disorder (DC/TMD) diagnosis. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted of 35 patients with intermittent locking history but normal intra-articular findings between September 2012 and June 2015 in Kyung Hee University Dental Hospital. A standardized DC/TMD assessment was performed on subjects with MRI findings. Clinical findings were assessed on the basis of maximum mouth opening (active & passive), self-reported habits, patients' age, gender, systemic diseases at the initial visit. First, chi square test was used to examine differences with variables and then risk factors for intermittent locking were assessed using multivariate logistic regression. Results: Self-reported bruxism was strongly associated with intermittent locking history. Conclusions: The new DC/TMD protocol is intended for use within any clinical setting and supports the full range of diagnostic activities from screening to definitive evaluation and diagnosis. Self-reported sleep bruxism has been associated with a higher likelihood of intermittent locking. Comorbidity is therefore a factor that must be assessed. It is necessary to consider the amount of contact of the teeth and the duration.

  • 성인의 우울증과는 달리 아동기 우울증의 존재와 정의에 대해서는 많은 논란이 있어왔다. DSM-III(1980)에 이르러서야 공식적인 병명으로 인정되었으나, 아직도 아동기 우울증은 다른 정신적인 장애에 비해 진단 준거 자체가 명확하게 정의되어 있지 못할 뿐만 아니라 발달 단계에 따라 우울증상은 다른 양상으로 표현되므로, 아동기 우울증의 정확한 진단을 위해서는 다양한 평가 방법을 사용하여 여러 사람들로부터 정보를 얻는 것이 매우 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자기보고형 질문지, 면접, 행동 평정 척도, 구조화된 검사, 투사법 검사 등 주요 평가 방법들을 고찰해보았고, 앞으로 아동기 우울증 평가 방법에서 해결되어야 할 신뢰도 및 타당도에 관한 몇가지 문제점들에 대해 논의하였다.

초등 과학 학습지도에서 포트폴리오 평가의 효과 (Effect of Portfolio Assessment in Elementary Science Teaching)

  • The Purpose of this study is to find the effects of the portfolio assessment on elementary students' scientific knowledge, inquiry process skill, scientific attitudes in the teaching of science. And finally the parents' response to the portfolio assessment is also investigated. In order to reach the goal of this study, the investigator developed the evaluation instrument such as an experimental report and a cumulative observation sheet for the 4th-grade Unit-1 'Light Propagation' and Unit-3 'Separating Mixtures', and then these were administered to 42 4th-grade elementary students in Inchon. Based upon the findings and within the limitations of this study, several conclusions can be drawn regarding the problems investigated. First, as the portfolio assessment offers enough information about individual student's performance, it has a highly positive effect on evaluating the students' scientific knowledges. It can also make possible to grasp the several aspects of the student's progress. Second, the portfolio assessment can be implemented without giving students any psychological pressure from testing itself. Therefore, the portfolio assessment is an effective means of appraising inquiry process skills. Third, the portfolio assessment is effective to evaluate the students' attitude toward science by means of individual records which include such aspects that is hardly found by the teacher who teaches science in the class. Fourth, as most parents showed a positive response to this portfolio assessment, it is considered to be effective method of appraising the result of teaching science at elementary school. Accordingly, this study demonstrated that the portfolio assessment is an effective method that can assess students' scientific knowledges, inquiry process skills, and scientific attitudes gained from science teaching-learning. Therefore, it is necessary to implement the portfolio assessment to other grade students as well in the following study where teacher may give more encouragements and suggestions to sti dents for the better learning motives. Also teachers should suggest more definite evaluation criteria to students so that they may improve the students' self and peer evaluation skills.

지역사회 거주 고령자의 라이프스타일 측정도구에 관한 조사: 경향과 활용전망 (A Systematic Study on the Multifaceted Lifestyle Assessment Tools For Community-dwelling Elderly: Trend and Application Prospect)

  • 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 고령자의 다면적 라이프스타일 프로파일 개발을 위해 라이프스타일을 포괄적으로 평가하는 도구 뿐만 아니라, 라이프스타일의 기본요소인 신체적 활동과 영양 그리고 활동 및 참여를 평가하는 도구들을 체계적으로 분석하여 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법: 포괄적 라이프스타일 평가도구의 경우 2001년 1월부터 2019년 6월까지 CINANL, NDSL, PubMed, Riss을 사용하여 문헌을 수집하였으며, 검색어는 "lifestyle assessment" OR "lifestyle profile" OR "lifestyle test"를 사용하였다. 라이프스타일 구성요소별 평가도구 관련 문헌 검색의 경우 2010년부터 1월 부터, 2019년 6월까지 CINANL, NDSL, PubMed, Riss을 사용하여 문헌을 수집하였으며, 검색어는 "physical activity assessment", OR "physical activity participation profile", "nutrition assessment" 그리고 "activity participation assessment" OR "activity participation and lifestyle"을 사용하였다. 결과: 검색결과로 얻은 4,165편의 문헌 중 선정기준에 부합하는 31편의 연구가 최종적으로 선정되었으며, 총 31편의 논문에서 포괄적 라이프스타일 평가도구는 총 5종류로 모두 자가응답식 평가도구이며, Health Enhancement Lifestyle Profile(HELP)와 Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile(HPLP)이 각각 3편(33%)으로 가장 많이 사용되었다. 신체 활동 평가도구의 경우 자가응답식 설문형식의 평가도구가 7편(58%)으로 가장 많았고, 설문 형식의 평가 방법의 보완으로 객관적 평가도구인 가속도계를 기반으로 한 평가도구 4개(33%), 고령자를 위한 식이 평가도구는 Mini-Nutritional Assessment(MNA)가 3편(42%)로 가장 많이 사용 됨을 알 수 있었다. 활동 참여의 평가도구의 경우 총 5종류의 평가도구가 노인의 활동 참여를 측정하기 위해 사용되는 것으로 분석되었고 그 중 Meaningful Activity Participation Assessment(MAPA)가 3편(43%)으로 가장 많이 사용된 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 31편의 문헌 고찰 결과, 고령자의 라이프스타일과 관련된 평가도구는 총 21개로 나타났다. 포괄적 평가도구는 자가보고식의 평가가 기반이 된 항목이 많았고, 주로 음주, 흡연, 운동 및 식이와 사회적 활동에 관한 참여 빈도 및 시간을 측정하는 것으로 나타났다. 그 외 라이프스타일의 주요 구성 요소로 평가도구로는 대부분 자가보고식의 평가형식이며, 활동에 대한 참여여부와 빈도를 측정하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 기존의 포괄적 라이프스타일 평가도구와 라이프스타일의 각 항목별 평가도구의 종류, 평가항목 및 측정방법을 분석함으로써, 향후 고령자의 다면적 라이프스타일을 평가 할 수 있는 표준화된 평가도구를 개발하는데 기초자료로 활용 될 것으로 사료된다.
