외식기업의 사회적 교환 관계, 임파워먼트, 조직 유효성의 관계 연구 (The Relationship between Social Exchange, Employee Empowerment, and Organizational Efficiency in the Foodservice Industry)

  • This study was conducted to suggest effective alternatives for human resource management in the foodservice industry by investigating the influence of social exchange on employee empowerment and organizational efficiency, The findings derived from the study are as follows: First, the major components of social exchange, organizational support and the leader-member exchange (LMX), significantly influenced the components of employee empowerment such as signification and self-determination. Secondly, we found that signification and self-determination had a significant impact on the turnover intentions and organizational commitment of the employees, which in turn organizational efficiency. Thirdly, both the employees' turnover intentions and organizational commitment were significantly influenced by the organizational support and the leader-member exchange. These results suggest that it is necessary to have active communication between organizational leaders and members to improve employee empowerment. In other words, employees should acknowledge the meaning and importance of their tasks and support at the organizational level should be provided to ensure employee empowerment.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of employees' psychological empowerment on job satisfaction, organizational commitment and the intention of changing an occupation, and then to suggest the ideal ways to improve productivity through human resource management and to get competitive advantages for efficient management. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, we performed both literature review and empirical research. There are conclusions to investigate psychological empowerment about employees in family restaurants. First, self-determination ability, competence and the influential power of which components of empowerment employees perceived affect job satisfaction significantly. In other words, empowered people feel job satisfaction and commit to their organizations. In the relation between empowerment and organizational commitment, influential power and roles affect them significantly, but self-determination ability and the meaning do not. Next, job satisfaction significantly affects organizational commitment and the intention of changing jobs, but organizational commitment doesn't affect the intention of changing jobs significantly. Finally, we suggest some implications about the management of family restaurants based on the results of this study.

간호대학생을 위한 셀프리더십 프로그램이 임파워먼트, 자기주도적 학습능력, 행복감에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Self-leadership Program for Nursing Students on Empowerment, Self-directed Learning, and Happiness)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생에게 영화를 활용한 셀프리더십 프로그램을 적용하고 셀프리더십, 임파워먼트, 자기 주도적 학습능력, 행복감에 미치는 효과를 확인하는 것이다. 연구참가자는 총 60명의 간호대학생으로 자료수집기간은 2017년 3월 7일부터 6월 13일까지이다. 데이터는 SPSS WIN 24.0 컴퓨터 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, paired t-test로 분석되었다. 셀프리더십 프로그램은 총 13차시로 구성되었고, 셀프 메니지먼트, 셀프 트레이닝, 셀프 브랜딩에 대한 내용으로 14편의 영화가 활용되었다. 간호대학생의 셀프리더십은 교육 후 유의하게 증가하였다(t=-4.38, p<.001). 세부항목으로, 행동중심적 전략, 자연보상적 전략 및 건설적 사고전략가 모두 유의하였다. 임파워먼트도 교육 후 유의하게 증가하였고(t=-5.83, p<.001), 개인적능력, 집단인식 및 자기결정도 모두 유의하였다. 자기주도적 학습능력도 교육 후 높았고(t=-3.31, p=.002), 학습계획과 학습실행이 유의하였다. 더불어, 간호대학생의 행복감도 교육 후 유의하게 높았다(t=-4.49,p<.001). 본 연구결과, 영화를 활용한 셀프리더십 프로그램은 간호대학생의 셀프리더십, 임파워먼트, 자기주도 학습능력 및 행복감을 향상시킬 수 있으므로 향후 교육중재로 유용하게 활동이 될 수 있을 것이다.

노인일자리사업에 참여한 노인의 생활만족도에 관한 연구 (Effects of Life Satisfaction of the Elderly Participating in the Senior Employment Project)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인일자리사업에 참여한 노인의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 참여노인의 자아존중감, 사회적지지, 임파워먼트 및 노인의 생활만족도 정도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 한다. 연구결과 자아존중감, 사회적지지, 임파워먼트는 노인일자리 사업 참여노인의 생활만족도에 유의미한 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 노인일자리사업 참여노인의 자아존중감, 사회적지지, 임파워먼트가 높일수록 생활만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 근거로 정책제언을 하면, 첫째, 자아존중감을 높일 수 있는 새로운 일자리 프로그램 개발과 보급이 필요하다. 둘째, 새로운 사회적지지망 형성과 자원 개발 연결이 필요하다. 셋째, 노인들의 일자리 욕구에 부합되는 맞춤식 일자리 제공과 같은 임파워먼트 접근이 필요하다.

만성적인 신체질환을 가진 환자에게 적용된 임파워먼트 중재 연구 고찰 - 국내를 중심으로 (Literature Review of Empowerment Intervention Studies for Patients with Chronic Physical Health Conditions in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 국내의 만성적인 신체질환을 가진 환자를 대상으로 임파워먼트 중재 연구 특성 및 효과를 조사하기 위해 체계적 문헌고찰을 수행하였다. PICOT-SD (Participants, Intervention, Comparison, Outcomes, Timing of outcome measurement, Setting, Study design) 전략이 적용되었다. 2000년 1월부터 2020년 4월에 발표된 총 19편의 논문을 선택하였다. 연구 대상자는 류마티스관절염 환자, 혈액투석 환자, 뇌졸중 환자, 당뇨병 환자, 만성폐질환자, 고혈압 환자, 암환자, 만성신부전 환자, 신장이식 환자 등이었다. 17편의 문헌에서 개념적 기틀이 제시되었다. 임파워먼트 전략은 참여, 대화, 경험 지지, 상호작용, 지지, 문제해결 등이었다. 자기관리(n=13), 임파워먼트(n=10), 자기효능감(n=7), 우울(n=5)이 많이 측정되었다. 대상자의 자기관리, 임파워먼트, 자기효능감을 측정한 문헌의 60% 이상에서 유의한 개선이 보고되었다. 본 연구에서의 고찰 결과, 임파워먼트 중재 연구는 만성적인 신체질환을 가진 환자의 건강 증진에 기여할 수 있는 효과적인 중재라고 생각된다. 추후 다양한 변수의 효과를 검증하는 임파워먼트 중재 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있다.

병원종별에 따른 치과위생사의 직무특성과 임파워먼트 비교 (Comparison of Job Characteristics and Empowerment of Dental Hygienists According to Hospital Type)

  • Purpose. In this study, the empowerment and job characteristics of dental hygienists by hospital type were identified and the relationships between empowerment and job characteristics were examined. Methods. The subjects were 156 working dental hygienists. A structured self-administered questionnaire was used to investigate the empowerment and job characteristics of dental hygienists. For empowerment and Job Characteristics, the scale developed by Spreitzer and Hackman and Oldham was used. Results. The results of this study showed that the degree of formation of empowerment for dental hygienists was the highest in general/university hospitals. All elements of job characteristics were closely correlated with empowerment, and hospital type was correlated with the determination of empowerment. Job characteristics influenced empowerment. This result suggests that the inherent jobs of dental hygienists did not change much by hospital type, but empowerment changed because the organizational characteristics changed according to hospital size. Conclusions. Therefore, considering the importance of the jobs of dental hygienists, hospitals need to form an organizational atmosphere that guarantee autonomy and promote a diversity of jobs.

1급 응급구조사의 임파워먼트가 비판적 사고에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Empowerment of the paramedics on Critical Thinking)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to examine the effects of empowerment of the paramedics on critical thinking and provide the basic materials for the qualitative improvement of emergency medical service. Methods : This study collected data with the paramedics working at general hospital and hospital emergency room in G metropolitan city, B metropolitan city, U metropolitan city, D metropolitan city and J province from July 1 to 31, 2008. Total 180 questionnaires were collected and 152 were used for final analysis, and the following results were obtained through statistical analysis using SPSS 12.0 program. Results : 1) Average score of empowerment was 4.44 out of 6 and according to average score by areas, significance was 4.94, capacity 4.92, self-determination 4.28, and effective-ness 3.62. 2) Empowerment by general characteristics was statistically significant in age (F = 3.313, p < 0.05), the final scholastic attainments(F = 2.436, p < 0.05), and salary(F = 1.695, p < 0.01). 3) Average score of critical thinking was 3.12 out of 7 and according to scores by areas, maturity was highest as 3.71, followed by no prejudice as 3.70, systemicity as 3.14, pursuit of truth as 3.05, much curiosity as 2.93, critical thinking and self-confidence as 2.92, and analysis as 2.91. 4) Critical thinking by general characteristics was statistically significant in marital status (F = 15.695, p < 0.01) and the final scholastic attainments (F = 2.606, p < 0.05). 5) Correlations between empowerment and critical thinking showed positive correlations as Pearson's correlation coefficient r = 0.400 and positive correlation in all areas including empowerment and critical thinking were found (r = 0.116-0.710). 6) The effect of empowerment on critical thinking was statistically significant in p < 0.01 and was explained as $R^2=0.155$. In the effects of empowerment on critical thinking, significance, capacity and self-determination were statistically significant in p < 0.01, effectiveness in p < 0.05 and were explained as R2 = 0.244. Conclusion : From the above results, it was found that empowerment had the influence on critical thinking, so it was considered that hospital managers and emergency room chiefs must develop and operate education and training program based on the concept of empowerment, maintenance and management strategies.

장애인 자립생활의 구성요인 중 자기결정권과 역량강화가 공동체관계 및 생산성에 미치는 영향 (Of the Factors Organizing Independent Living of the Disabled, the Effect of Self-Determination Right and Empowerment on the Community Relation and Productivity)

  • 본 연구는 중증장애인을 대상으로 자립생활의 구성요인 중 자기결정권과 역량강화가 공동체 관계 및 생산성에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 탐색적으로 검증하였다. 이를 위해 2012년 5월부터 7월까지 약2개월에 걸쳐 장애인자립생활센터 및 인권센터 이용 장애인을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 장애인의 자기결정권 수준은 연령, 학력, 배우자 유무, 수급 여부, 월소득 유무, 거주형태, 장애 발생시기, 장애등급 등의 변인에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났고, 역량강화 수준에서는 학력과 장애등급 등의 변인에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애인의 공동체관계 형성 수준은 연령, 학력, 배우자 유무, 거주형태, 장애 발생시기, 장애등급 등의 변인에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났고, 생산성 수준에서는 학력, 배우자 유무, 수급 여부, 월소득 유무, 중복장애 여부, 장애등급 등의 변인에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 장애인의 자기결정권과 역량강화가 공동체관계에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 자기결정권, 역량강화 변인 모두 장애인들의 공동체관계에 유의미한 정(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 장애인의 자기결정권과 역량강화가 생산성에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 역량강화 변인만이 장애인들의 생산성에 유의미한 정(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 향후 장애인의 공동체관계 및 생산성을 높여 자립생활을 영위해나가기 위해서는 자기결정권과 역량강화가 중요한 변수임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 위해서는 사회복지실천 및 재활과정에서 자기결정권 및 역량강화의 중요성을 인식하고, 이와 관련된 다양한 프로그램을 개발하고 활성화 시켜나가야 할 것이다.

소규모자영업분야의 경제적 성과와 직업만족도 (The Economic Outcomes in Small Self-Employed Business and the Job Satisfaction of Self-Employed Workers)

  • The purpose of this study were to analyze the factors that influence the economic outcomes of small self-employed business and the job satisfaction among self-employed workers. A sample of 321 was selected from self-employed workers living in Daegu. For data analysis, multiple regression was used. The major findings were as follows: 1. The self-employed workers' income was affected by their gender, age, perception of present economic status, and working years of business, and amount of capital at the beginning, as well as whether they hired other employees. 2. The factors that influence job satisfaction for self-employed workers were previous experience in self-employed business, level of positive vision with future household economy, level of income, length of working hours per day, and the level of empowerment with their self-employed work.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the influencing factors on the economic and educational supports selection of small self-employed business. A sample of 321 was selected from self-employed workers living in Daegu. For data analysis, logistic regression was used. The major findings were as follows: 1 The determinants of the economic supports selection in self-employed business were father's working experiences in self-employed business, taking employees or not in business, having housing ownership or not, and as well as the amount of starting capital. 2. The determinants of the educational supports selection in self-employed business were self-employer's working experience as self-employed before or not, and empowerment with self-employed work.
