  • The current status of domestic monitoring centers was reviewed and the pattern-based security monitoring system and the centralized security monitoring system, both of which are the characteristics of security monitoring systems, were analyzed together with their advantages and disadvantages. In addition, as for a development plan of domestic security monitoring systems, in order to improve the problems of the existing pattern-based centralized monitoring system, Honeynet and Darknet, which are based on anomalous behavior detection, were analyzed and their application plans were described.

  • The "Risk management" and "Security monitoring" activities for cyber security are deeply correlated in that they prepare for future security threats and minimize security incidents. In addition, it is effective to apply a pattern model that visually demonstrates to an administrator the threat to that information asset in both the risk management and the security system areas. Validated pattern models have long-standing "control chart" models in the traditional quality control sector, but lack the use of information systems in cyber risk management and security systems. In this paper, a cyber Security Risk Monitoring (SRM) system that integrates risk management and a security system was designed. The SRM presents a strategy for applying 'security control' using the pattern of 'control charts'. The security measures were integrated with the existing set of standardized security measures, ISMS, NIST SP 800-53 and CC. Using this information, we analyzed the warning trends of the cyber crisis in Korea for four years from 2014 to 2018 and this enables us to establish more flexible security measures in the future.

  • This paper presented the development plan of voltage security on-line monitoring system (VSECOMs). VSECOMs consists of voltage security monitoring system and data management system. VSECOMs has the function of bus voltage watch. voltage stability analysis, and voltage security assessment. EMS data on-line acquisition, PSS/E file conversion, and overall data management. VSECOMs is designed with client/server structure. We will seek stable operation of KEPCO's power system by installation of VSECOMs in EMS of KEPCO.

  • Due to the advanced IT environment, the role of Security Monitoring & Control becomes more important as the cyber-crime is becoming intelligent, diversified, and advanced. In contrast to the way it relied solely on security devices such as Firewall and IDS in the past, Security Monitoring & Control tasks responding to cyber attacks through real-time monitoring have become wide spread and their role is also important. In response to current cyber threats, since security equipment alone can not be guaranteed a stable defense, the task of Security Monitoring & Control became essential to operate and monitor security equipment and to respond in real time. In this study, we will discuss how to configure network security system effectively and how to improve the real-time Security Monitor & Control.

  • With the ever-increasing frequency of public sector and smalls-cale industries going live on the internet in developing countries, their security of which, while crucial, is often overlooked in most cases. This is especially true in Government services, whilst essential, are poorly monitored if at all. This is due to lack of funds and personnel. Most available software which can help these organizations monitor their services are either expensive or very outdated. Thus, there is a need for any developing country to develop a networking monitoring system. However, developing a network monitoring system is still a challenge and expensive and out sourcing network monitoring system to third party is a security threat. Therefore, in this article we propose a method to anonymize network logs and outsource networking monitoring system to third-party without breach in integrity of their network logs.

  • In this paper, I have implemented the security system using shell script that periodically checking the security elements of unix system for security it transmit to a monitoring server and monitoring many clients. Agent of client executing by crontab scheduler, Environment of server to receive data use restricted TFTP in SunOS. And then, Because of using shell script, apply shell to system with flexible, control performance, and can meet on a sudden situation.

  • Large distributed systems such as computational and data grids require that a substantial amount of monitoring data be collected for various tasks such as fault detection, performance analysis, performance tuning, performance prediction, security analysis and scheduling. to cope with this problem, they are needed network monitoring architecture which can collect various network characteristic and analyze network security state. In this paper, we suggest network performance and security analysis system based on network monitoring. The System suggest that users can see distance network state with tuning network parameters.

  • In this paper, we propose an Raspberry Pi2-based smart home security monitoring system. Proposed home security monitoring system was configured using a relatively tractable main processor raspberry pi2, ultrasonic sensors, and PIR sensors. In addition, The picamera is compatible with raspberry pi2 was connected to the servo motor. And by driving the attacker's location the video was recording. The Web server stores data of the recorded image and the sensor, and provides a web page to enable the monitoring at all remote locations. When examining efficiency of proposed home security monitoring system it was found that proposed system is easier to be made than existing home security system and is able to minimize the blind spot of the camera by using servo motor and is efficient and convenient and stable as it enables a user to handle an error in person and it uses reliable data.

  • The boundary-based security system has the advantage of high operational efficiency and easy management of security solutions, and is suitable for denying external security threats. However, since it is operated on the premise of a trusted user, it is not suitable to deny security threats that occur from within. A zero trust access control model was proposed to solve this problem of the boundary-based security system. In the zero trust access control model, the security requirements for real-time security event monitoring must be satisfied. In this study, we propose a monitoring method for the most basic file access among real-time monitoring functions. The proposed monitoring method operates at the kernel level and has the advantage of fundamentally preventing monitoring evasion due to the user's file bypass access. However, this study focuses on the monitoring method, so additional research to extend it to the access control function should be continued.

  • In order to prevent information leakage, companies are monitoring the information leakage by internal staff by building individual security system and integrated monitoring system of firewall and DLP function. Especially, many log data of the integrated monitoring system cause time and money, and it is difficult to detect information leak of fast malicious personnel due to system slowdown. It is necessary to speed up the system by digitizing large log data for each day and person for fast information leakage detection and there is a need to develop and manage a continuous monitoring program for the information leakage indications personnel. Therefore, we propose an improved integrated monitoring system using log data by date and individual data.
