  • A new RS(Reed Solomon) Decoder design method, using Galois Subfield GF($2^4$) Multiplier, is described. The Decoder is designed using Normalized error position stored ROM. Here New Inverse Calculator in GF($2^8$) is designed, which is simpler and faster than the classical GF($2^8$) direct inverse calculator, using the Galois Subfield GF($2^4$) Arithmatic operator.

  • This bridge was planed to be located in Geuk-rak river at south of Kwangju city. And it is very important to emphasis the beauty of bridge appearance. So Ive adopted unbraced tube arch type those linear beauty is elegance and simple. Actually, foreign bridges similar to this won various prizes for excellence of design. But there is no similar precedent in domestic highway bridge. therefore we intended to certify the security of this bridge through computational analysis. In this paper, approximate introduction of this bridge, design procedure and principal examination item is mentioned.

  • The electronic cash, an electronic equivalent of the real paper money, has been recently proposed as one of the various payment methods for electronic commerce. In this paper, we design an electronic cash payment system based on a new electronic cash payment protocol that can effectively provide full anonymity and avoid double-spending. The protocol is suitable for use as the electronic cash control or electronic cash database. The protocol support also security and electronic cash property.

  • We have developed a new remote-configurable firewall system that provides secure and easy-to-use access to home-network appliances such as network cameras, PVRs, and home file servers, through the internet. With a simple web browser operation, remote users can dynamically open and close the firewall of the home gateway. The firewall rule creation is based on an authentication of the remote client, and thus only packets from the authorized client can pass through the firewall, we analyses the sorority design for home gateway in ubiquitous surroundings.

  • With the development of information technology and the growth of the scale of system and network, cyber threats and crimes continue to increase. To cope with these threats, cybersecurity training based on actual attacks and defenses is required. However, cybersecurity training requires expert analysis and attack performance, which is inefficient in terms of cost and time. In this paper, we propose a cyber attack simulator that automatically executes attack techniques. This simulator generates attack scenarios by combining attack techniques modeled to be implemented and executes the attack by sequentially executing the derived scenarios. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed attack simulator, we experimented by setting an example attack goal and scenarios in a real environment. The attack simulator successfully performed five attack techniques to gain administrator privileges.

  • The purpose of this paper is to plan deployment strategy of public key infrastructure for Malawi by considering the information and communication technology status on it. For this, we will review the information communication technology status on developing and least developed countries focused on Malawi and plan deployment strategy of mobile based public key infrastructure. First of all, we extract out security considerations for public key infrastructure, which is efficient for wireless communication, and design a new lightweight public key infrastructure apt to mobile device by considering Malawi's information communication technology status. Especially, the proposed mobile based public key infrastructure uses smartcards for all the processes of certificate. It could guarantee the same security as the wired counter part based on lightweight mobile device.

  • The growth of incidents on the Internet has reflected growth of the internet itself and growth of the computing Power. while in Previous years, external attacks tended to originate from those interested trend in exploring the Internet for its own sake and testing their skills, there is an increasing trend towards intrusions motivated by financial, Political, and military objectives. so, attacks on the nation's computer infrastructures are becoming an increasingly serious problem. Even though the problem is ubiquitious, government agencies are particularly appealing targets and they tend to be more willing to reveal such events than commercial organizations. The threat of damage made necessity of security's recognition, as a result, many researches have been carried out into security of system actively. Intrusion Detection technology is detection of intrusion using audit data differently from using traditional simple filtering and informs manager of it. It has security manager of system deal with the intrusion more quickly. but, cause current environment of Internet manager can't doing response Intrusion alert immediately That's why IPS needed. IPS can response automatically the intrusion alert. so, manager is more comfortable and can response quickly.

  • As the usage of mobile devices extremely increases, malicious mobile apps(applications) that target mobile users are also increasing. It is challenging to detect these malicious apps using traditional malware detection techniques due to intelligence of today's attack mechanisms. Deep learning (DL) is an alternative technique of traditional signature and rule-based anomaly detection techniques and thus have actively been used in numerous recent studies on malware detection. In order to develop DL-based defense mechanisms against intelligent malicious apps, feeding recent datasets into DL models is important. In this paper, we develop a DL-based model for detecting intelligent malicious apps using KU-CISC 2018-Android, the most up-to-date dataset consisting of benign and malicious Android apps. This dataset has hardly been addressed in other studies so far. We extract OPcode sequences from the Android apps and preprocess the OPcode sequences using an N-gram model. We then feed the preprocessed data into LSTM and apply the concept of Information Gain to improve performance of detecting malicious apps. Furthermore, we evaluate our model with numerous scenarios in order to verify the model's design and performance.

  • CSD is IEEE Stan없rd 802.15.4b based Container Security Device which is proposed by the U.S Department of Home Security. It is mounted inside the container to sense opening of the container door. ConTracer is the CSD which is developed in this research whose major features are sensing door opening status as well as history inquiring on internal environment and shock to the container by mounting the temperature/humidity/shock sensors. Moreover, its RFID frequency bandwidth uses 2.4GHz 10 correspond actively to the radio regulations used by different countries. This. paper introduces the development trend of CSD, compares the ConTracer which is developed thru this research and other company's CSD, and introduces CSD System which is designed and established using ConTracer. Finally, the implemented CSD System is verified by applying the demonstration service to container distribution between Korea and Japan.

  • In this paper, a new stream cipher algorithm based on the chaos theory is proposed and is applied to a Web security system. The Web security system is composed of three parts: certificate authority (CA), Web client, and Web server. The Web client and server system include a secure proxy client (SPC) and a secure management server (SMS), respectively, for data encryption and decryption between them. The certificate is implemented based on X.509 and the RSA public key algorithm is utilized for key creation and distribution to certify both the client and server. Once a connection is established between the client and server, outgoing and incoming data are encrypted and decrypted, respectively, using one of the three cipher algorithms: chaos, SEED, and DES. The proposed chaos algorithm outperforms the other two conventional algorithms in processing time and complexity. Thus, the developed Web security system can be widely used in electronic commerce (EC) and Internet banking.
