  • Security protocols have usually been developed using informal design and verification techniques. However, many security protocols thought to be secure was found to be vulnerable later. Thus, the importance of formal specification and verification for analyzing the safely of protocols is increasing. With the rise of mobile communication networks, various mobile security protocols have been proposed. In this paper, we identify the security weakness of the ASK mobile Protocol using formal verification technique. In addition, we propose a new ASK protocol modifying its vulnerability and verify its robustness.

  • A blockchain system developed for crypto-currency has attractive characteristics, such as de-centralization, distributed ledger, and partial anonymity, making itself adopted in various fields. Among those characteristics, partial anonymity strongly assures privacy of users, but side effects such as abuse of crime are also appearing, and so countermeasures for circumventing such abuse have been studied continuously. In this paper, we propose a machine-learning based method for classifying smart contracts in Ethereum regarding their functions and design patterns and for identifying user behaviors according to them.

  • Cloud computing is widely used in information spreading and processing, which has provided a easy and quick way for users to access data and retrieve service. Generally, in order to prevent the leakage of the information, the data in cloud is transferred in the encrypted form. As one of the traditional security technologies, access control is an important part for cloud security. However, the current access control schemes are not suitable for cloud, thus, it is a vital problem to design an access control scheme which should take account of complex factors to satisfy the various requirements for cipher text protection. We present a novel access control scheme based on proxy re-encryption(PRE) technology (PreBAC) for cipher text. It will suitable for the protection of data confidently and information privacy. At first, We will give the motivations and related works, and then specify system model for our scheme. Secondly, the algorithms are given and security of our scheme is proved. Finally, the comparisons between other schemes are made to show the advantages of PreBAC.

  • A honeypot is a security resource whose value lies in being attack. It collects data regarding the attack strategies and tools of hackers. However, the honeypot is normally located at a single point, and the possibility is small that a hacker will attack it. Unused ports-based decoy systems which gather data about hackers activities have been developed to complement honeypots. However, the systems have some problems to be deployed in actual environment. In this paper, we propose an agent-based system which enhances shortcomings of the unused ports-based decoy systems. It makes honeypot gather more information regarding hacker activities and protects clients from attacks. Moreover, the proposed system can increase the chance of tracking hackers activities without wasting additional IP addresses and computer hardwares.

  • Information security reports four types of basic attacks on information. One of the attacks is named as fabrication. Even though mobile devices and applications are showing its maturity in terms of performance, security and ubiquity, location-based applications still faces challenges of quality of service, privacy, integrity, authentication among mobile devices and hence mobile users associated with the devices. There is always a continued fear as how location information of users or IoT appliances is used by third party LB Service providers. Even adversary or malicious attackers get hold of location information in transit or fraudulently hold this information. In this paper, location information fabrication scenarios are presented after knowing basic model of information attacks. Peer-to-Peer broadcast model of location privacy is proposed. This document contains introduction to fabrication, solutions to such threats, management of fabrication mitigation in collaborative or peer to peer location privacy and its cost analysis. There are various infrastructure components in Location Based Services such as Governance Server, Point of interest POI repository, POI service, End users, Intruders etc. Various algorithms are presented and analyzed for fabrication management, integrity, and authentication. Moreover, anti-fabrication mechanism is devised in the presence of trust. Over cost analysis is done for anti-fabrication management due to nature of various cryptographic combinations.
