In this paper, the optimal design conditions for hardware implementation of the Secure Hash Algorithm3-512 (SHA3-512) hash function were analyzed. Five SHA3-512 hash cores with data-path of 64-bit, 320-bit, 640-bit, 960-bit, and 1600-bit were designed, and their functionality were verified by RTL simulation. Based on the results synthesized with Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA device, we evaluated the performance of the SHA3-512 hash cores, including maximum frequency, throughput, and occupied slices. The analysis results show that the best hardware performance of SHA3-512 hash core can be achieved by designing it with 1600-bit data-path.

This paper describes the design and implementation of library for real-time operating system Q+, that was developed for the internet appliance. The library in the real-time operating system should be defined according to the standard interface and support the functions that are adequate to the real-time application. To ensure the compatibility between application programs, the Q+ library follows industrial and international standards, such as POSIX.1, ISO 7942 GKS. And, to support the Q+ application, library provides C standard functions, graphic/window functions, network functions, security support functions, file system functions. The Q+ library was implemented using the Q+ kernel, Digital TV set-top box, and KBUG debugging tool.

Rapid developments of industry and economics have made a metropolis which demands an effective urban transport management system (UTMS). Specially, this paper considers a subway surveillance system based on integrated wireless LAN technologies for public safety. Since a current subway platform security entirely relies on conventional closed circuit television camera (CCTV) or human operators, subway train drivers cannot detect platform states and cope with abnormal situations or accidents immediately. However, through the IP cameras and some wireless routers, high qualify images of the platform conditions can be directly delivered to the train drivers and other station employees in advance of train entering the platform. In this paper, several design issues and problems are discussed when building up the subway management system. Further, we illustrate a system model with the system requirements in real parametric values in order to draw concrete system designs and to realize a practical implementation of the future UTMS.

The definition of educational games, the importance of game development, and the characteristics of educational games are described. The design of the screen used in the game and the algorithm used are described. We explained the game implementation in the system environment and experiment, and the questionnaire showed whether there is nonviolence of the game, games preferred by children, game benefits, and fun elements of the game. The superiority of the game was described by comparing and analyzing the educational shooting game proposed in this paper with the existing game. The existing children's games had many shortcomings in terms of commercial and educational aspects, but the proposed games proved to be less violent and have educational effects.

The library is the most frequently utilized building on campus, but, it has been reported to be a facility most vulnerable to crime. However, almost no study has been conducted on crime in the library, which implies a need for research on the subject. The purpose of this study is specifically twofold. First, this study will suggest components of environmental plan to prevent fear over library crime on campus. Second, the study seeks to reveal the correlation between use per library space and fear of crime. This has been analyzed by conducting a survey among current university students, and the survey includes the following three details: first, fear over day/night crime per library space; second, components of environmental plan to prevent fear over crime per library space; third, level of use per library space on campus. The results of study show that fear of crime has low relation with crime occurrence, fear per library space is higher during the night than during the day, and the space where the fear level is usually high is the service facility. There is a difference for each space in terms of important components of environmental plan to prevent crime per library space, and installation of security device is most important. One must consider a plan for a crime safe environment regarding library space where the level of use during the day is low.

The necessary rehabilitation training for patients with disability currently does not match the actual amount of training conducted, which requires interest in rehabilitation treatment, continued investment and infrastructure for rehabilitation contents, while the most common forms of rehabilitation treatment comprises of art, music, and play treatments. In this paper, we provide a game-style rehabilitation program including audio and visual elements through motion detection process on the patient and design a digital game rehabilitation program that allows different level of management for various categories of disabled people.

The awareness of ecological friendliness has been emerging in the recent years, and the application to housing is quite notable. The purpose of this study was to examine multi-family housing that has recently developed with the idea of ecological friendliness, and to investigate the residents' attitudes toward and their preferences for the features. The research utilized in-depth interviews and site visits, and seven residents in the studied housing developments participated in the study. The analytical tool used in the interview was reviewed by a panel of professionals and included five aspects of ecologically friendliness: residential comfort, energy saving, open housing, storage, and safety and security. The respondents pointed out that south-facing housing in relation to residential comfort was most favorable. With regard to energy-saving, water-saving features and dehydrator of food waste were most needed features. As for open housing-related features, flexibility in spatial configuration was necessary, and efficient storage was regarded as important. Also, the respondents mentioned the preference for flooring preventing slippery in bathroom for the safety of family member.

In this paper. the design and implementationof the on-line registration system for the school affairs is described. The environments for the system configurations include a PC server under Linux Iperating System. Apache Web-server, and MySQL as database engine. In addition, PHP, which becomes a popular Internet server-based script language lately, is used to implement a real-time database. In order to avoid overload problems during short-term registration period, which deconstraces the typical surge of traffics, the proposed system is designed to minimize the unnecessary interfacing tasks. On administrator side task, the sytem is designed to have environments by separating the dechcated server that restricts the scope of specific database thasks. In doing so, it become possibal to build an optical system by distributing, balancing the transaction load, maintainimg the security and efficient administrative tasks.

Today, term of ‘industrial society’means the totally changing society by new technical innovation through the Industrial Revolution begun in England at the mid-nineteenth century and it made social structure centering agricultural culture change with industrial culture with expansion of goods by the massive production. Information working area has to bo a space not just for improving business efficiency in industrial society but for developing efficiency in working in harmony with the information and structural aspects based on computer and communication technology. There are two kinds of environmental elements of working space : the tangible ones are the area and the structure of working space, lights, network, layout and information machines in office, the intangible ones are a feeling of satisfaction of management and arrangement of office information machines capability of information delivery, common ownership of documents and their files, the security and connection between office workers, and harmony. According to the wave of information begun from the late twentieth century, structural layout of working area has become various by the working type through network of new developed information communication machines. But it is hard to apply them in actually.

A form of consumption has been changed to a form of pursuing rather qualitative sides than quantitative sides according to an improvement of the living level followed by an increase in national income and to an increase in women's advance to society in modern society. The above change had a lot of effects on children play space, a subsidiary means within commercial facilities. However, partial children play facilities have steady children injury cases by a lack of safety management facilities. Therefore, the study investigated indoor children play facilities installed in large-scale distribution stores as department stores and discount stores out of commercial facilities in Seoul. The study investigated actual conditions and collected picture data with a checklist drawn up on the basis of the safety management standard for three months from April, 2008 to June, 2008 by visiting five places under cooperation. The purpose of the study was to grasp actual conditions of safety management of play space within commercial facilities through the contents and picture data of the investigated checklist and to offer basic data in the side of safety management of commercial facilities and various indoor children play spaces by proposing security measures for the problems.
