  • Most of the enterprise information is stored in the database. Therefore, in order to investigate the company's criminal behavior, forensic analysis is important for the database and delete record is a need to develop recovery techniques. This paper is explained structure of the oracle database tablespace file and analyzed system tables that stored table information. Further, we suggests a method of recovery for deleted record in oracle tablespace.

  • Typical security solutions such as intrusion detection system are not suitable for detecting advanced persistent attack(APT), because they cannot draw the big picture from trivial events of security solutions. Researches on techniques for detecting multiple stage attacks by analyzing the correlations between security events or alerts are being actively conducted in academic field. However, these studies still use events from existing security system, and there is insufficient research on the structure of the entire security system suitable for advanced persistent attacks. In this paper, we propose an attack path and intention recognition system suitable for multiple stage attacks like advanced persistent attack detection. The proposed system defines the trace format and overall structure of the system that detects APT attacks based on the correlation and behavior analysis, and is designed with a structure of detection system using deep learning and big data technology, etc.

  • Information technology has been made remarkable progress and most of computer systems are connected with internet over the world. We have not only advantages to access them easy, but also disadvantages to misuse information, abuse, crack, and damage privacy. We should have safeguards to preserve confidentiality, integrity and availability for our information system. Even tough the security is very important for the defense information system, we should not over limit users availability. BS7799, a British standard, is an evaluation criteria for information security management. In this paper we propose an audit model to manage and audit information security using control items of BS7799, which could be useful to mange the defence information system security. We standardize audit items, and classify them by levels, and degrees by using appropriate audit techniques / methods / processes.

  • In this paper, we develop a security system which enhances the security of information during transmission over the World Wide Web for solving problems related to outflow of the information on the internet. Our system provides safe security functions without modifying the existing Web server and browser by utilizing CGI, Plug-in, and Socket Spy techniques. Our system implements user access control and data encryption/decryption by using the hardware cryptographic token instead of using a software technique as in previous systems, and hence is a more robust security system.

  • In this paper, we propose an approach to apply network-based moving target defense into Internet of Things (IoT) networks. The IoT is a technology that provides the high interconnectivity of things like electronic devices. However, cyber security risks are expected to increase as the interconnectivity of such devices increases. One recent study demonstrated a man-in-the-middle attack in the statically configured IoT network. In recent years, a new approach to cyber security, called the moving target defense, has emerged as a potential solution to the challenge of static systems. The approach continuously changes system's attack surface to prevent attacks. After analyzing IPv4 / IPv6-based moving target defense schemes and IoT network-related technologies, we present our approach in terms of addressing systems, address mutation techniques, communication models, network configuration, and node mobility. In addition, we summarize the direction of future research in relation to the proposed approach.

  • Despite the limitations of existing security policies due to technological development, companies are unable to actively respond to changes by maintaining a closed security policy. This study classified information security policy into three types: regulatory type policy, advisory type policy, and informative type policy. For each classified policy type, the effect on the information security policy compliance behavior of organizational members was investigated by applying the extended theory of planned behavior, and the moderating effect of information security stress was investigated. SmartPLS 2.0 and SPSS 21.0, which are structural equation modeling techniques, were used to analyze the relationship affecting each factor. As a result of the study, regulatory type, advisory type, and informative type security policies affected organizational members' information security policy compliance behavior, and security stress had an effect on information security compliance attitudes and subjective norms on information security, which are prerequisites for planned behavior theory. gave. This study suggests that various types of corporate information security policies can be applied and that security stress can affect information security behaviors of members.

  • Machine learning with its high precision algorithms, Precision agriculture (PA) is a new emerging concept nowadays. Many researchers have worked on the quality and quantity of PA by using sensors, networking, machine learning (ML) techniques, and big data. However, there has been no attempt to work on trends of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, dataset and crop type on precision agriculture using internet of things (IoT). This research aims to systematically analyze the domains of AI techniques and datasets that have been used in IoT based prediction in the area of PA. A systematic literature review is performed on AI based techniques and datasets for crop management, weather, irrigation, plant, soil and pest prediction. We took the papers on precision agriculture published in the last six years (2013-2019). We considered 42 primary studies related to the research objectives. After critical analysis of the studies, we found that crop management; soil and temperature areas of PA have been commonly used with the help of IoT devices and AI techniques. Moreover, different artificial intelligence techniques like ANN, CNN, SVM, Decision Tree, RF, etc. have been utilized in different fields of Precision agriculture. Image processing with supervised and unsupervised learning practice for prediction and monitoring the PA are also used. In addition, most of the studies are forfaiting sensory dataset to measure different properties of soil, weather, irrigation and crop. To this end, at the end, we provide future directions for researchers and guidelines for practitioners based on the findings of this review.

  • This study is meaningful in that it standardizes various security and defense policies and devices, newly defines characteristics of defense policies and defense techniques, and specify and report various kinds of security polities and devices in order for administrators or users to add and apply the policies when introducing new security policies including the implementation of existing network infra and applying additionally. Therefore, this study aims to divide the policies into ONSU-MF(One Network Security Unit-Multi Function) that classifies one network security device-based policies and OSD-MD(One Security Device-Multi Defense), which implements various security methods by using one security device, and suggest network security infra improvement mechanism through the standardization implementation technique integrating the two methods.

  • According to the rapid growth of the number of SNS(Social Networking Service) applications based on Android OS, the importance of its security is also raised. Especially, many applications using KaKaoTalk platform has been released in these days, and these are top ranked in the relative markets. However, security issues on SNS applications have not been resolved clearly. Therefore, it is crucial to provide means to cope with the security threats posed by code-segment modification in the development stage of Android OS based SNS applications. In this paper, we analyze the security threats by modifying SNS application code segments and suggest effective security techniques.

  • Various methods are being presented to identify the movements of COVID-19 infected persons and to protect personal privacy at the same time. Among them, 'Exposure Notification' released by Apple and Google follows a decentralized approach using Bluetooth. However, the technology must always turn on Bluetooth for use, which can create a variety of security threats. Thus, in this paper, the security assessment of 'Exposure Notification' was performed by applying 'STRIDE' and 'LINDDUN' among the security threat modeling techniques to derive all possible threats. It also presented a new Dell that derived response measures with security assessment results and improved security based on them.
