String matching is one of the key algorithms in network security and many areas could be benefit from a faster string matching algorithm. Based on the most efficient string matching algorithm in sual applications, the Boyer-Moore (BM) algorithm, a novel algorithm called RQS is proposed. RQS utilizes an improved bad character heuristic to achieve bigger shift value area and an enhanced good suffix heuristic to dramatically improve the worst case performance. The two heuristics combined with a novel determinant condition to switch between them enable RQS achieve a higher performance than BM both under normal and worst case situation. The experimental results reveal that RQS appears efficient than BM many times in worst case, and the longer the pattern, the bigger the performance improvement. The performance of RQS is 7.57~36.34% higher than BM in English text searching, 16.26~26.18% higher than BM in uniformly random text searching, and 9.77% higher than BM in the real world Snort pattern set searching.

The goal of this research is to look into different techniques to solve the problem of authorship verification for Arabic short writings. Despite the widespread usage of Twitter among Arabs, short text research has so far focused on authorship verification in languages other than Arabic, such as English, Spanish, and Greek. To the best of the researcher's knowledge, no study has looked into the task of verifying Arabic-language Twitter texts. The impact of Stylometric and TF-IDF features of very brief texts (Arabic Twitter postings) on user verification was explored in this study. In addition, an analytical analysis was done to see how meta-data from Twitter tweets, such as time and source, can help to verify users perform better. This research is significant on the subject of cyber security in Arabic countries.

Metaverse is a compound word of the English words 'meta', meaning 'virtual' and 'transcendence', and 'universe' meaning the universe. dimensional virtual world. Metaverse is a concept that has evolved one step further than virtual reality (VR, a cutting-edge technology that enables people to experience life-like experiences in a virtual world created by a computer). It has the characteristic of being able to engage in social and cultural activities similar to reality. However, there are many security issues related to this, and cybersecurity vulnerabilities may occur. This paper analyzes cybersecurity threats that may occur in the metaverse environment and checks vulnerabilities.

Web browser is essential application for using internet. If suspect use a web browser for crime, evidence related crime is stored in log file. Therefore, we obtain the useful information related crime as investigating web browser log file. In this paper, we look at the related work and tools for web browser log file. And we introduce analysis methodology of web browser log file focus on the digital forensics. In addition, we apply to our tool at real case.

The article presents an analysis of innovative teaching technologies as a way to increase students' competitiveness. The author found that innovative technologies in education are information and communication technologies relying on computer-based learning. The structure, content of educational software, organization of Web-space are important when using innovative teaching technologies in English classes. We conducted the study in several stages: comparative analysis, synthesis, classification and systematization of the results of psychological and pedagogical, educational and methodological research; study of legislative acts, periodicals in order to identify the state of the research issue, and determining the directions of its solution, as well as subject, goal and objectives of the study. We used modelling to create situations of foreign language professional communication of future IT specialists. Empirical methods involved questionnaires used for identifying the motives of professional development and determining the features of the educational activities of future IT specialists in the process of training. The methods of mathematical statistics allowed to scientifically describe and systematize the obtained data, to identify the quantitative relationship between the studied phenomena, to analyse and summarize the results. We conducted a socio-psychological study during 2016 - 2019. It involved 255 first- and fourth-year students of National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Poly-technic Institute." Innovative information and communication technologies that improve the educational and cognitive activity of students, as well as increase the level of their knowledge have become important in teaching a foreign language in higher educational institutions. These technologies include MOODLE - Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment, business game, integrated pedagogical technology, case study technology. Thus, the information-rich learning process in combination with the use of innovative technologies, well-organized e-learning, interactive training courses, multimedia tools improves the program of teaching and learning foreign languages in general, and English in particular, improves the level of knowledge of future IT specialists and motivation to study and learn foreign languages, allows students to use a variety of authentic materials. We state that all these factors influence the process of individualization of learning and contribute to the successful mastery of a foreign language.

This paper examines the types and trends of North Korea's military provocations and regional maritime threats against South Korea, and is focusing on the Republic of Korea's naval development and modernizations by the Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) on future actions, what directions of the ROKN has taken thus far in response, as well as an examination of how the ROKN might respond to vulnerabilities identified throughout modern history. Importantly, this paper does not consider the domestic, bilateral, multilateral, regional and global political dimensions of the situation on the Korean Peninsula; nor does it consider the North Korea's transitional power politics, but including North Korea's nuclear program and submarine-launched ballistic missile developments, as a caveat, this paper is based on open sources in Korean and English language, and thus information concerning provocations is indicative only.

The expansion of the world wide web has led to a huge amount of user generated content over different forums and social media platforms, these rich data resources offer the opportunity to reflect, and track changing public sentiments and help to develop proactive reactions strategies for decision and policy makers. Analysis of public emotions and opinions towards events and sentimental trends can help to address unforeseen areas of public concerns. The need of developing systems to analyze these sentiments and the topics behind them has emerged tremendously. While most existing works reported in the literature have been carried out in English, this paper, in contrast, aims to review recent research works in Arabic language in the field of thematic sentiment analysis and which techniques they have utilized to accomplish this task. The findings show that the prevailing techniques in Arabic topic-based sentiment analysis are based on traditional approaches and machine learning methods. In addition, it has been found that considerably limited recent studies have utilized deep learning approaches to build high performance models.

The study aimed to analyze the reality of the scientific publishing of the faculty members of the Northern Border University, in both the Web of Science database and the SCOPUS database, with the analysis of publishing indicators and trends for the period between 2008-2020, and the researcher's keenness to apply the bibliometric study research methodology to obtain an account Full and detailed publications indicators under the two databases, including a full analysis of scientific publishing through objective, temporal, quantitative, authors, languages, open access journals, information forms, the most productive authors, the most published scientific journals, the most scientific bodies involved with the university. The study found results, the most important of which is the existence of a high increase in scientific publishing, starting from 2015, with an increase in publishing in the scientific field compared to other disciplines, and that the vast majority of publishing is in the form of articles, as well as publishing in English for the rest of the languages.

The article proposes that empathy differs in severity and types among students of different specialties. And to test this hypothesis, an experimental study of students from 4 different faculties was carried out. As a result of the study, it was found that empathy is more pronounced among students of "humanitarian" specialties, and students of "exact" specialties have the least pronounced empathic abilities.

The article considers the state and trends of distance learning in the world and Ukraine, identifies the main species differences between distance education and other forms of education, analyzes the state of the global market for educational services provided via the Internet. Important features and characteristics of distance learning, examples of its organization in higher education, as well as statistics on the development of distance learning in our country. The main problematic points on the way to the implementation of the distance education system in Ukraine and the factors that hinder the development of this promising form of education are outlined.
