The purpose of this study is to investigate the behavioral factors affecting the security attitude and intention to use biometrics password based on the protection motivation theory. This study also investigates security awareness training to understand trust, privacy, and security vulnerability regarding biometric authentication password. This empirical analysis reveals security awareness training boosts the protection motivational factors that affect on the behavior and intention of using biometric authentication passwords. This study also indicates that biometric authentication passwords can be used when the overall belief in a biometric system is present. After all, security awareness training enhances the belief of biometric passwords and increase the motivation to protect security threats. The study will provide insights into protecting security vulnerability with security awareness training.

Safety and security measures in the shipping industry play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and reliable cargo and passengers operations at each stage of the supply chain. The ISPS Code was adopted into SOLAS convention to protect seafarers and vessels from security threats. Furthermore, according to the Manila amendments to STCW Convention in 2010, personnel employed on board are required to participate in security training. Effective seafarers' education and training programs are of major importance to guarantee satisfactory performance levels onboard to minimize security-related risks. The study's contribution focuses on empirically evaluating the relationship between personal level of awareness and security performance when seafarers undertake security training courses. Findings of this study suggest that (1) seafarers who undertake maritime security training have a higher awareness of ship security, (2) security training and security awareness have a positive influence on security performance, and (3) security awareness mediates the impact of security training and security performance. In conclusion, education and training programs are key tools in enhancing seafarers' security awareness and security performance which, from an industry viewpoint, can translate into major economic, operational and reputational benefits.

Students in the NCO department who have concluded the agreement with army headquarters, exercise camp education environment and the method on how to carry out the education. In order to raise awareness on NCOs and obtain pride as a future army NCO, army field training is held once a year. The stress on the education is the establishment of national security awareness, proficiency in basic army training, awareness of NCO pride, and basic posture as a soldier. The demand for commissioning only those with satisfactory army field training results is becoming stronger. The satisfaction of the education states a clear goal as a future NCO. This army field training has a meaning when the demands and expectations of the trainee leads to a form of commissioning.

A serious disturbance of the 7.7 DDoS hacking gets a chance of raised awareness for importance of response countermeasure with current status of information security. Human factor represents a very challenging issue to organizations. Human factor is responsible for many cybersecurity incidents by noncompliance with the organization security policies. In this paper we conduct a comprehensive review of the literature to identify strategies to address human factor. Security awareness, training and education program is the main strategy to address human factor. Scholars have consistently argued that importance of security awareness to prevent incidents from human behavior.

In order to strengthen the information security of the organization, it is important to invest in the information security facility, but the information security awareness of the organization members is also very important. Effective education is needed to raise awareness of this information security. However, the method of collective education utilized by most organizations is not very effective. Educational methods using serious games can be a good alternative. Educational methods using serious games have already proved effective through various cases and researches and are used in many fields. In this paper, we design and implement a game program to improve the awareness of individual information security policy importance. The training was conducted for the members of the organization and the change of awareness about the importance of individual information security policy was examined through analysis of evaluation data before and after the training.

In spite of the R&D level of Korea, the efforts to protect the R&D results from outflowing has not been raised up. We investigated the current status of security education and the level of researcher's awareness for research security in the government-financed institutes. Also, we attempted to find out the needs for institutionalization of the security education. We conducted a survey and in-depth interviews of all the security officers in the thirty-seven government-financed institutes. The results show that the awareness level of the researchers for R&D security is below adequate level, and that security education is necessary in order to increase the security awareness. Also, it is necessary to institutionalize the security education.

Nowadays the importance of information security has been increased because there are many benefits and threats like information leakage caused by rapid growth of information technology. It is important to apply technical solution, however enhancing security capability is more important to respond evolving security threats. Information security education is one of typical way to enhance security capability and there are various efforts at the dimension of nation, company and academic community. However it is required to analyze previous research until now and derive future research direction for long-term development plan. In this study, we analyzed a publication status about 177 papers related to information security, training and awareness from 4 foreign journals and 2 Korean journals. Additionally, we analyzed in detail about 70 papers related to information security education. As a result, the most part of study is about curriculum, and in the future, it is required to expand educational area as well as study about effectiveness measurement of information security education by experimental research.

The development of ICT has led positive aspects such as popularization of Internet. It, on the other hand, is causing a negative aspect, Cyber Terror. Although the causes for recent and continuous increase of cyber security incidents are various such as lack of technical and institutional security measure, the main cause which threatens the cyber security is the users' lack of awareness and attitude. The purpose of this study is the positive analysis of how the personal and job characteristics influence the cyber security training participation rate and the response ability to cyber terror response training with a sample case of K-corporation employees. In this paper, the relationship among career, gender, department, whether he/she is a cyber security specialist, whether he/she is a regular employee), "ratio of cyber security training courses during recent three years", "ratio that he/she has opened the malicious email in cyber terror response training during recent three years", "response index of virus active-x installation (higher index means poorer response)" is closely examined. Moreover, based on the examination result, the practical and political implications regarding K-corporation's cyber security courses and cyber terror response training are studied.

E-mail is one of the important tools for communicating with people in everyday life. With COVID-19 (Coronavirus) increasing non-face-to-face activity, security incidents through e-mail such as spam, phishing, and ransomware are increasing. E-mail security incidents are increasing as social engineering attack using human psychology rather than arising from technological weaknesses that e-mails have. Security incidents using human psychology can be prevented and defended by improving security awareness. This study empirically studies the analysis of changes in response to malicious e-mail due to improved security awareness through malicious e-mail simulations on executives and employees of domestic and foreign company. In this study, the factors of security training, top-down security management, and security issue sharing are found to be effective in safely responding to malicious e-mail. This study presents a new study by conducting empirical analysis of theoretical research on security awareness in relation to malicious e-mail responses, and results obtained from simulations in a practical setting may help security work.
