고유 수용성 신경근 촉진법과 시각 되먹임 기반 관절재현 훈련이 발목관절의 고유 수용성 감각 수준과 한 발 서기 균형 능력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation and Visual-Feedback based Joint Position Reproduction Training on the Level of Ankle Proprioception and One-leg Standing Balance Ability)

  • Proprioception training has been considered a secondary method to facilitate postural control ability. This study investigated the effects of two different proprioception training methods - the proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and visual feedback-based joint position and force reproduction (VF) - on postural control advancements. Sixteen healthy people volunteered for this study, and they randomly grouped two. Each group participated in the PNF and VF training for three weeks. We evaluated each subject's proprioception levels and balance ability before and after the training. We used a clinometer and electromyogram (EMG) for VF training. The joint position reproduction test was also used to evaluate the position and force aspects of the proprioception level. We analyzed the trajectory of the center of pressure (COP) while subjects were standing on the firm floor and balance board with one leg using a pressure mat. The improvement of the position aspect of the proprioception level of the VF group (4.93±4.74°) was larger than that of the PNF group (-0.43±2.08°) significantly (p=0.012). The improvement of the anterior-posterior COP velocity of the PNF group (0.01±0.01 cm/s) was larger than that of VF group(0.002±0.01 cm/s) significantly (p=0.046). Changes of position error in the PNF group (rho=0.762, p=0.028) and tibialis anterior force reproduction error in the VF group showed a significantly strong relationship with balance ability variables. These results showed that different PNF and VF have different effects on improving two aspects of proprioception and their relationship with the balance ability. Therefore, these results might be useful for selecting proprioception or balance rehabilitation considering the clinical and patients' situation.

  • Zinc chlorin 1 possessing tertiary 3$^1$_hydroxy and 13$^1$-oxo groups was synthesized as a model for the antenna chlorophylls of photosynthetic green bacteria. Self-aggregation of 1 in nonpolar organic solvents was examined and compared to 2 and 3 possessing a secondary and primary 3$^1$_hydroxy group, respectively. Zinc chlorin 1 self-aggregated in I%(v/v) CH$_2$Cl$_2$-hexane to form oligomers and showed a red-shifted Qy maximum at 704 nm compared to the monomer (648 nm in CH$_2$CI2$_2$). This red-shift is larger than that of 3$^1$S-2 (648 to 697 nm) and comparable to that of3$^1$R-2 (648 to 705 nm), but smaller than that of 1 (648 to 740 nm), indicating that while a single 3$^1$-methyl group (primary to secondary OH) suppressed tight and/or extended aggregation, the additional 3$^1$-methyl group (secondary to tertiary OH) did not further suppress aggregation. The relative stability of the aggregates was in the order 3> 3$^1$R-2∼ 1 > 3$^1$S-2 as determined by visible spectral analyses. Molecular modeling calculations on oligomers of zinc chlorins 1, 3$^1$ R-2 and 3 gave similar well-ordered energy-minimized structures, while 3 stacked more tightly than 3$^1$ R- 2 and 1. In contrast, 3$^1$S-2 gave a relatively disordered (twisted) structure. The calculated oligomeric structures could explain the visible spectral data of 1-3 in nonpolar organic solvents. Moreover, self- aggregation of synthetic zinc 13$^1$_oxo-hlorins 4-6 possessing a 2-hydroxyethyl, 3-hydroxypropyl and 3- hydroxy-I-propenyl group at the 3-position in nonpolar organic solvents was discussed.

The Correction of a Secondary Bilateral Cleft Lip Nasal Deformity Using Refined Open Rhinoplasty with Reverse-U Incision, V-Y Plasty, and Selective Combination with Composite Grafting: Long-term Results

  • Background : This article presents long-term outcomes after correcting secondary bilateral cleft lip nasal deformities using a refined reverse-U incision and V-Y plasty or in combination with a composite graft in order to elongate the short columella. Methods : A total of forty-six patients underwent surgery between September 1996 and December 2008. The age of the patients ranged from 3 to 19 years of age. A bilateral reverse-U incision and V-Y plasty were used in 24 patients. A composite graft from the helical root was combined with a bilateral reverse-U incision in the 22 patients who possessed a severely shortened columella. The follow-up period ranged between 2 and 10 years. Results : A total of 32 patients out of 46 were evaluated postoperatively. The average columella length was significantly improved from an average of 3.7 mm preoperatively to 8.5 mm postoperatively. The average ratio of the columella height to the alar base width was 0.18 preoperatively and 0.29 postoperatively. The postoperative basal and lateral views revealed a better shape of the nostrils and columella. The elongated columella, combined with a composite graft, presented good maintenance of the corrected position with no growth disturbance. A composite graft showed color mismatching in several patients. Twenty-six patients demonstrated no alar-columella web deformity and satisfactory symmetry of the nostrils. Four patients experienced a drooping and overhanging of the corrected alar-columella web. Conclusions : A bilateral reverse-U incision with V-Y plasty or in combination with a composite graft was effective in correcting secondary bilateral cleft lip nasal deformity.

  • 본 연구는 중력자극에 대하여 식물체의 일기생장으로부터 이어지는 이기생장 중에 일어나는 생장 반응과 관련지어 유관속조직의 발생상의 변화를 규명하기 위하여, 은단풍 유식물의 제1절간이 수평 위치에서 생장하는 동안에 일어나는 반응조직의 발생과정을 연구하였다. 수평 위치에서 생장한 은단풍 유식물의 제1절간에서 장력재(교질섬유)의 발생과정은 점진적인 과정으로 나타났다. 수평으로 위치한 제1절간의 상부에서 장력재의 발생과정은 기부에서 정단부를 향해 구정적으로 일어났다. 장력재의 해부학적 특성 중 일부는 일기유관속에서도 나타나기 시작하여, 이기생장 전형적인 장력재가 나타나게 되므로 전형성층도 유관속형성층과 마찬가지로 중력에 대하여 반응하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이런점으로 보아 전형성층은 유곤속형성층과 동일 분열조직으로 보아야 할 것이다. 도관요소의 길이는 상부에서 길게 나타났고, 도관의 측면무늬에 있어서는 상부와 하부에서 모두 상생으로 차이가 없었다. 방사조직의 폭은 이열방사조직을 이루는 상부가 단열방사조직을 이루는 하부에 비하여 넓고, 높이도 상부에서 다소 높게 나타났다.

인지무선시스템을 위한 전송 손실 지수 추정 기반의 기 사용자 위치 검출 기법 (Localization of primary user for cognitive radios based on estimation of path-loss exponent)

  • 인지무선네트워크에서 기 사용자(primary user)의 위치를 정확하게 파악하는 것은 2차 사용자(secondary user)들의 스펙트럼 이용 효율 향상 및 적절한 전력제어를 통한 기 사용자에 대한 간섭을 야기하는 것을 회피하는데 사용될 수 있기 때문에 인지무선네트워크에서 매우 중요한 연구 주제이다. 노드의 위치를 추정하는 다양한 기법들 중, 수신신호세기(RSS) 기반의 위치 추정 기법은 추가적인 하드웨어 자원 없이 쉽게 구현할 수 있어 일반적으로 가장 많이 사용되는 기법으로 인지무선네트워크에서도 사용될 수 있다. 하지만, 수신신호세기 기반의 위치 추정에서 노드간 거리 측정은 수신된 신호 세기를 기반으로 이루어져 무선 채널 환경의 페이딩, 쉐도잉 그리고 장애물 등으로 인해서 거리 추정의 오차가 생긴다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 수신신호세기 기반으로 기 사용자의 위치 측정의 정확도를 향상시키기 위하여 전송 손실 지수(path loss exponent) 추정기반의 기 사용자 위치 검출 기법을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 제안된 방식이 기존 방식보다 기 사용자 위치 측정의 오차를 줄어 기 사용자에 대한 간섭률을 더 줄일 수 있음을 보였다.

한국 잔디의 포복경 생장과 분지에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Growth and Branching of Stolon in Korean Lawn(Zoysia japonica Steud.))

  • This study was carried out to investigate the growth and branching pattern of stolons at Korean lawn(Zoysia japonica Steud.) in the field condition. The results were summarized as follows ; 1.About 80% of observed lawns had one primary stolon. Among the lawns with several primary stolons, 30% of them had two primary stolons, 63% had three, and 7% had four. 2.The angles between the primary stolon and the shoot were increased from 0˚ to 52˚ according to the node order from the terminal shoot apex, and reached maximum angle at the 7th node. 3.The internode length was the longest in the middle position of stolon, and its growing rate which depends on months was increased from May to September. 4.The branching angles between primary and secondary stolon were from 44˚ to 53˚ in each node. The average left branching angle was about 48.20, right branching angle 47.8˚, and the total average branching angle was 48.00. 5.The rate of initial brabch was the highest at the 10th node in May, the 7th node in July and the 5th node in September. But, the initial branching rate at the 7th node in July was higher than any other that at the 10th node in May and the 5th node in September. 6.The distribution rate of secondary stolon in each node of primary stolon was the highest at the 7th node. 7.when the terminal shoot apex of primary stolon was damaged mechanically, the branching rate at the first node after the damaged region was highly increased to 62%. The results of this study may be suggested that the secondary stolon begins to branch with the angle of 480 from the 7th node of the normal primary stolon, and those may be used as a basic data for the branching simulation in lawn.

자율주행 자동차를 위한 측위 보정 표지 연구 (A Study on Position Correction Sign for Autonomous Driving Vehicles)

  • 자율주행차량은 차량에 장착된 다양한 센서를 통해 주행환경을 인지하고 수집된 정보를 기반으로 판단 및 제어한다. 센서 기술 및 수집된 데이터를 처리하는 알고리즘의 발달로 자율주행기술의 수준은 향상되고 있으나 완벽한 자율주행기술의 구현에는 이르지 못하고 있는 한계점을 인프라를 중심으로 하는 자율협력주행을 통해 극복하려는 움직임을 보인다. 본 연구에서는 자율주행차량의 측위를 보정할 수 있는 인프라로서 기준을 제공하는 측위 보정 표지를 개발하였다. 우선 기존의 자율주행을 위한 측위 기술 현황에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 다음으로 정사각형의 반사면 두 개로 구성된 1차 제작물과 각 반사면의 상하 길이를 늘인 2차 제작물에 대해 포인트 클라우드 개수를 측정하는 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과 1차 및 2차 제작물 모두 최소 15m 거리에서 시설물을 라이다 센서로 인식할 수 있었고, 상하 길이를 확장한 2차 제작물이 1차 제작물보다 포인트 클라우드 개수도 더 많으며 시설물의 형상을 구체적으로 표현하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

방사선사의 직무만족도와 이직의도와의 관계 (A Study on Relationship between Radiologists' Job Satisfaction and Intention of Separation)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine relations between the job satisfaction and separation intent of radiologists from secondary medical institutes, providing basic information needed to earlier prevent radiologists' separation, improve their quality and effectively manage them. 1. The subjects' job satisfaction was 2.32 points in mean score, which was below the average. 2. Concerning difference in job satisfaction among the subjects in accordance with their demographic characteristics, it was found that radiologists are significantly different among them in job satisfaction according to their age and position. 3. The surveyed radiologists' intent of separation was 2.89 points in mean score, which was not significantly high. 4. Concerning difference in the intent of separation among the participants in accordance with their demographic characteristics, it was found that radiologists are significantly different among them in the intent of separation according to their age, marital status, position and average monthly income. 5. There were significant correlations between the subjects' job satisfaction and intent of separation. In other words, the higher radiologists are in job satisfaction, the lower they are in the intent of separation.

  • This paper presents the deformation characteristics of the moving pressure plate in a balanced type vane pump that widely used automotive power steering systems. Moving pressure plate can control the clearance between rotor and plate in accordance with load pressure variation; it always guarantees that pump to have optimal volumetric efficiency. In this paper, firstly, we calculate the acting force on the pressure plate, which is used to determine the angular position and load condition for analyzing the deformation of pressure plate. Secondary, finite element method is used for the deformation analysis. As results of acting force analysis, it is found that maximum difference of forces occurs at angular position 28$\circ$ from the small arc center of cam ring and load pressure is a dominant factor to affect acting force variation. The deformation of pressure plate increases as load pressure increases. At high load pressure, the deformation of pressure plate becomes larger than the initial clearance between rotor and plate. Therefore, it is required to design the plate for controlling the deformation.

  • This paper proposes a navigation system with a robust localization method for an underwater unmanned vehicle. For robust localization with IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), a DVL (Doppler Velocity Log), and depth sensors, the EKF (Extended Kalman Filter) has been utilized to fuse multiple nonlinear data. Note that the GPS (Global Positioning System), which can obtain the absolute coordinates of the vehicle, cannot be used in the water. Additionally, the DVL has been used for measuring the relative velocity of the underwater vehicle. The DVL sensor measures the velocity of an object by using Doppler effects, which cause sound frequency changes from the relative velocity between a sound source and an observer. When the vehicle is moving, the motion trajectory to a target position can be recorded by the sensors attached to the vehicle. The performance of the proposed navigation system has been verified through real experiments in which an underwater unmanned vehicle reached a target position by using an IMU as a primary sensor and a DVL as the secondary sensor.
