Balinese calendar is defined as a unique calendar system for combining solar-based and lunar-based system and assuming local system. It is considered as guidance of Balinese societies' activities management, starting from meeting arrangement, wedding ceremony, to religious ceremonies. Practically, it has developed in the form of printed Balinese calendar and electronic Balinese calendar, either web or mobile application. The core of the function is to find out the day with its various characteristics in the Balinese Calendar. In general, society usually asks the religious leader to find out the day in detail. The technology of NLP combined with models of pattern discoveries supports the arrangement of the interaction model in searching the good day in Balinese Calendar to equip the conventional searching system in the previous applications. This study will design a dialog model with AIML method in multi-parameter basis; therefore, the users will be dynamically able to use the searching content in various ways by chatting in similar with consulting to a religious leader. This model will be applied in a chatbot basis service in telegram machine. The addition of the context recognition section into 4 paterns has been successfully improve the ability of AIML to recognize input patterns with many criteria. Based on the testing with 50 random input patterns obtained a success rate of 92.5%.

Recently, Intelligent Transportation System(ITS) has been applied to satisfy increasing traffic demand every year and to solve many traffic problems. Especially, Advanced Traveller Information System(ATIS) is a transportation system to optimize the trip of each other vehicle. It is important to provide the driver with quick and comfortable path from source to destination. However, it is difficult to provide a shortest path in a road network with dynamic cost. Because the existing research has a static cost. Therefore, in this paper we propose an operator for searching traffic dependent shortest path. The proposed operator finds the shortest path from source to destination using a current time cost and a difference cost of past time cost. Such a method can be applied to the road status with time. Also, we can expect a predicted arrival time as well as the shortest path from source to destination. It can be applied to efficiently application service as ITS and have the advantages of using the road efficiently, reducing the distribution cost, preparing an emergency quickly, reducing the trip time, and reducing an environmental pollution owing to the saving the fuel.

In this paper we introduce a design and implementation of an agent for multimedia retrieval and personalized broadcasting service. It is compliant with TV Anytime Forum specifications and supports searching location resolving, storing and streaming of remote multimedia contents. For this service, we implemented a contents server, a 메타데이터 database server, a location resolution server and a client terminal is implemented The Client terminal gathers content information by SOAP of operation, and it has a user preference module and usage history module that make user information. The personalize service agent recommends suitable contents to user by similarity algorithm.

This study analyzed the process of information service and its factors in the cognitive viewpoint. And developed a conceptual model to help in developing future information systems and services. The results of this study were summarized as follows : 1) The paradigm of information user study is changing from the system-centered to the user-centered one. 2) The researchers describe the user's internal cognitive process as the starting point of the information service. 3) The user's personal cognitive process influence the process of the information service over. And the focus is a microscopic one including the factors of the perception and recognition of the stimulus, remembering and searching information, reasoning the rules, recognition of the patterns, formalization of the concepts, etc. 4) The information librarian performs the role as a knowledge/ information system interface, and his knowledge structure reflects the organization of that knowledge/information system. 5) The information librarians can perform their role as information specialists actively and offensively. And the performance of the librarians can be measured on the scales of the su n.0, pplying capability of relevant information and the client satisfaction.

This paper examines when a consumer in existent telecommunication 2G applies to new telecommunication service 3G from the viewpoint of an option pricing theory. To improve telecommunication quality of service, the consumer applies to 3G. The application means an exchange of 2G for 3G with extra costs such as searching and conversion costs. Since the option to exchange is a right that the consumer can exercise or not, application to 3G is deemed an exercise of the option to exchange at most suitable value of the option. The timing to exercise the option depends on the extra costs and the additional communication benefit from new telecommunication quality of service. These affect an optimal timing to apply to 3G. The optimal applying or switching timing to 3G is when an economic value of the option to exchange is equal to an economic value of the extra costs plus the additional telecommunication quality from new telecommunication service. The option analysis used in this paper is applicable to various industries.

Jini is a promising HomeNetworking middleware of computing environment based on Java Technology. To support Homenetwork service based on Jini, Jini device requires a successive operation and complicated management. In this paper, our service management system is a service provider component and lookup service component including automation module. Our automatin module privide searching and setting function of a library, runtime environment and class file system cinfiguration information for Jini service. Our system can be accomplished by automation of runtime environment, simplification of service management structure, visualization of service execution.

This study investigates the effect of the motivation to use webtoon and the convenience of use(the character of the webtoon service) on the interactivity, and then examines how the interactivity affect the webtoon user's satisfaction and willingness to pay. Using factor analysis, this study found two motivations to use webtoon including 'information acquisition', 'entertainment and easiness of access'. These motivations have an influence on the interaction of the content and Webtoon's user and of Webtoon's users. The motivation of the entertainment and easiness of access is more influential to user's interactivity. The convenience of use is divided two types that are the convenience of the searching information and service. The convenience of webtoon service has positive influence of two types of interaction. The last results find that webtoon user's satisfaction is influenced by gender, the convenience of the searching information and using service. The satisfaction of the female user is higher than man. The more convenience of use is, the more satisfaction of users will be. Willingness to pay is influenced by age, the convenience of webtoon service, and the user's interactivity. The older users are, the more convenience of webtoon service is, and the more the user's interactivity, the higher willing to pay will get. The implications of the findings are discussed in terms of the way to change the profit structure of webtoon service and suggest to increase the interactivity in webtoon service.

In this study, we surveyed characteristics of the science related collaborative problem solving competency of pre-service elementary teachers, especially required in the digital age. The participants in online survey were 119 pre-service elementary teachers of National University of Education located in Gangwon province. The analyzed results of survey were as follows: First, pre-service teachers performed their task responsibly in collaborative problem solving context related to science. However, they lacked competencies in making rubrics for problem solving processes or outcomes, and setting up rules about team activities. Second, in using ICT technology, the competencies of utilizing tools such as app and software lacked compared with the competencies of searching data in online and using ppt. Third, there was no statistically significant difference among groups by their intensive major in university or selective subject in high school. Nevertheless, pre-service teachers majoring in natural science showed more persistence than those majoring in humanities in problem solving context. Finally, there was no significant gender difference except 'clear communication and accomplishment'. That is, female pre-service teachers performed more responsible in their task and showed more fluency in communication and presentation within their group than male counterparts. Based on these results, implications in the field of pre-service teacher education were discussed.

The purpose of this study is to analyze contents on media about the problems of long-term care facilities. For achieving this purpose, we reviewed 'KINDS(http://www.kinds.or.kr/)' from July, 2008 to May, 2012 which was an synthetic newspaper and TV news searching system. Among 320 articles, we finally analyzed 72 articles: 218 articles were duplicated and 30 articles did not directly related or were not objective. The results were divided with seven parts: 'long-term care facilities', 'employee' 'health care and accidents', 'providing and management of service', 'meals related problems', 'maltreatment of client', 'disorders & unfairness long-term care benefit. Among these seven parts, we could confirm specific and major problems, which were lack of safety management, incompleteness facilities & equipments, shortage of long-term care manpower, insufficient service providing low quality of service, hiding money from elderly's accounts, and providing some money to get national subsidies. For resolving these problems, the long-term service guidelines must be prepared and the related facilities must cooperate each other for providing high quality of service. In addition, the efficient systems must be made to find out long-term care problems and unfairness of service providing and strict management rules or sanctions must be needed.

DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting for Handhold) is a new standard, currently being developed, which defines mobile enhancements for the DVB-T (DVB-Terrestrial) standard. For the reception of service via mobile handhold devices, seamless mobility and power saving are essential requirements of DVB-H. For seamless handover, the receiver should monitor neighboring cells and it increases the power consumption. And so, power efficient handover scheme to support both mobility and power saving is required. In this paper, we propose cell searching scheme to reduce power consumption by reducing the number of frequency scanning during the handover. Through the numerical evaluation, we analyzethe performance of handover schemes.
