We present here the preliminary results of the fast variability of AGN radio light curves. The shortest time scale of minute in AGN light curves is needed to probe the AGN activity for a few reasons; First, to check if there is any kind of shortest time scale activity. Secondly, to find out what high frequency end of AGN spectra look like. For the last, to see the time delay at several wavelength bands and the change of the spectral index with time. The observation was conducted with three KVN(Korea VLBI Network) antennas with single dish cross scan mode. In order not to lose the target at any given time, whenever one station needs to observe the calibrator, the other station is on the target. Though the detailed data reduction is still going on, there might exist varying feature in the radio light curve. The more fine calibration will be done in near future and another good data set is ready for the reduction.

A quantum-chemical study of conformations and electronic structures of polyheterocyclic derivatives with vinylenediheteroatom substituents at the 3- and 4-positions was performed to search for novel blue-lightemitting conjugated polymers. Conformational potential energy curves of the polymers were constructed as a function of the helical angle (a) through semiempirical Hartree-Fock band calculations at the Austin model 1 level. It is found that poly(3,4-vinylenedioxythiophene) possesses a quite flat curve in the range of α = 51.4°- 120°. Replacing S atoms for O atoms greatly increases repulsion between the neighboring units, and thereby the units become perpendicular to one another. Because of the hydrogen bonding between O and NH, poly(3,4- vinylenedioxypyrrole) is predicted to be anti-coplanar and poly(3,4-vinylenediaminofuran) to be nearly anticoplanar. According to the modified extended Huckel band calculations, the HOMO-LUMO gaps (HLGs) of the polymers, unless the polymer chains are twisted, are close to or slightly smaller than those of their respective mother polymers. Among the polymers, poly(3,4-vinylenedioxythiophene) is presumed to be the most probable candidate for a blue-light emitter because its HLG is within the range of the electronic requirement for blue-light emitters.

The recent rapid growth of mobile network traffic places multi-access edge computing in an important position to reduce network load and improve network capacity and service quality. Contrasting with traditional mobile cloud computing, multi-access edge computing includes a base station cooperative cache layer and user cooperative cache layer. Selecting the most appropriate cache content according to actual needs and determining the most appropriate location to optimize the cache performance have emerged as serious issues in multi-access edge computing that must be solved urgently. For this reason, a cache placement algorithm based on comprehensive utility in big data multi-access edge computing (CPBCU) is proposed in this work. Firstly, the cache value generated by cache placement is calculated using the cache capacity, data popularity, and node replacement rate. Secondly, the cache placement problem is then modeled according to the cache value, data object acquisition, and replacement cost. The cache placement model is then transformed into a combinatorial optimization problem and the cache objects are placed on the appropriate data nodes using tabu search algorithm. Finally, to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm, a multi-access edge computing experimental environment is built. Experimental results show that CPBCU provides a significant improvement in cache service rate, data response time, and replacement number compared with other cache placement algorithms.

본 연구는 한국 고등학생 및 대학생을 대상으로 삶의 의미추구와 학업만족의 관계에서 희망의 역할을 파악하고 희망을 향상시키는 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 삶의 의미추구와 학업만족의 관계를 희망이 매개할 것이라고 가정하였고, 삶의 의미추구와 희망의 관계에서 가족 및 친구지원의 조절효과를 예상하였다. 연구 1에서 대학생 190명을 대상으로 설문을 진행한 결과, 희망이 삶의 의미추구와 학업만족의 관계를 완전 매개함을 확인하였다. 연구 2에서는 희망을 내적 희망과 가족, 친구, 초월적 존재에 기반 한 외적 희망으로 구분하여 삶의 의미추구와 학업만족의 관계에서 희망의 역할을 세부적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 고등학생 313명을 대상으로 설문을 진행한 결과(연구 2), 고등학생의 삶의 의미추구와 학업만족의 관계가 내적 희망과 친구에게 기반 한 외적 희망에 의해 완전매개 되는 것으로 나타났으며 가족 및 초월적 존재에 기반 한 외적 희망의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 사회적 지원의 조절효과와 관련하여, 삶의 의미추구와 희망의 관계에서 가족 지지의 조절효과가 유의하였다. 즉, 가족으로부터 지지를 받는 사람은 그렇지 않은 사람보다 삶의 의미추구와 희망의 정적 관계(연구 1) 및 삶의 의미추구와 내적 희망의 정적관계(연구 2)가 강하게 나타났다. 삶의 의미추구와 희망의 관계에서 친구지원의 조절효과는 연구 1과 연구 2에서 모두 유의하지 않았다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의, 한계점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

We present the current operation status of StarDB web services by showing its user access statistics. The StarDB web services started its operation in late November, allowing world-wide users to access results of new variability analysis for Northern Sky Variability Survey light curves. New analysis results of various time-series data have been added to the StarDB services. Importantly, our services have supported a simple cone search, which is an internationally well-defined catalog search interface in the international Virtual Observatory systems. We have collected user access statistics such as how users find our analysis data since its operation in later November. We expect our analysis of the StarDB operation to help Korean community members who plan and operate their own web services preparing for a future era of big survey data.

Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) is a ubiquitous enzyme that plays a significant role in the clinical diagnosis of pathologic processes. Discovery of the LDH (BmLDH) gene in B. mori may shed light on its role in the biology of Lepidoptera species, and afford further understanding of the function of the enzyme. In this study, we used the bioinformatics tools to identify LDH gene in B. mori. Sequence analysis showed that BmLDH cDNA contains a 996 bp open reading frame, encoding 331 AA proteins, with seven introns. Compared with hHLDH (human heart LDH), BmLDH contained the same key active sites. Domain search and protein fold recognition analyses provide compelling evidences that the deduced protein is a LDH. Using the computer program MEGA3, we conducted a search for homologs of BmLDH among many eukaryotic species and confirmed that the BmLDH was conserved in all organisms investigated. This gene has been registered in GenBank under the accession number EU000385.

The easily use of WWW and Web browser of INTERNET makes the world our stage. But when we search for the information and resource that we want, the information supplied by search engine (e.g., Yahoo, Lycos, WebCrawler, Alta Vista) is inadequate to acquire the necessary and related information of research issues. This paper surveys AMT(Advanced Manufacturing Technology) which is the research topics recently on the WWW(WorLd Wide Web) and provides searching methods and information for academic research, technical report, proceedings, software, etc. It also briefly surveys WWW-VL(Virtual Library) and reviews the major three technology, CALS (Commerce At Light Speed), AMS(Agile Manufacturing System), CE(Concurrent Engineering), that is recently the focus of the research issue of Industrial Engineer.

The purpose of this research is to suggest how to develop the internet homepage of the general hospital. The research was operated with 72 general hospitals which were titled 'general hospital' by subject in internet web search engine. The contents of general hospital homepage was studied by internet screen. On the other hand, It was surveyed for homepage operation by mail questionaire. The contents was mainly composed with (1) introduction of hospital (2) medical examination and the treatment-related information (3) the information & communication (4) the general medicare service, specialist & employee service. In order to operate homepage effectively, inquiry system, reservation system, consulting, information search, phone number, etc, web database shall be established inside of hospital homepage which will link compatible with computer database in hospital. Human resources employment & purchasing order system used by a enterprise shall be in consideration of adopting, since it has various merits in light of hospital management.

We introduce a process for optically reconstructing full-color holographic images recorded by optical scanning holography. A complex RGB-color hologram was recorded and converted into a binary hologram using a direct binary search (DBS) algorithm. The generated binary hologram was then optically reconstructed using a spatial light modulator. The discrepancies between the reconstructed object sizes and colors due to chromatic aberration were corrected by adjusting the reconstruction parameters in the DBS algorithm. To the best of our knowledge, this represents the first optical reconstruction of a full-color hologram recorded by optical scanning holography.

This study aims to give a new modern light to a paper and search for a possibility of a paper as a new formative material. And then this study wants to suggest the formative effect of the paper operation as one technique which creates the idea of fashion design and to contribute in enlarging the possibility of expression of fashion design. The results of this study are as follow Firstly a paper is found to be expressed in new moulding forms by the various formative experiments because a paper can be easily and variously used as the material of expression. So the moulding images of paper operation are provided for the idea of fashion design and give much influences on the development of fashion design. Seccondly through the new light on a paper as the formative material it is demonstrated that a paper can be used for the development of many forms and the enlargement of the area of expression in the fashion design. Thirdly in the fashion design the formative effect of the paper operation not only give a variety to silhouette but also forms one technique of creation of new materials
