인천지역 해공복합운송시스템(Sea & Air)의 경쟁우위 확보방안 (A Study to Enhance Competitive Advantage on Sea & Air Intermodal Transport System of Incheon)

  • 현재 중국의 경우 산업발전은 매우 빠르게 이루어지고 있으나 아직까지 인프라 시설이 구비되어 있지 않아 수요와 공급의 불균형을 이루고 있다. 그러므로 중국자체로는 매년 넘쳐나는 미주 또는 구주 발 총국동북부 지역의 항공물동량을 모두 처리하기 어려운 실정이며 이는 우리나라가 해공복합운송 거점으로서 위상을 확립할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 해공복합운송과 항공운송의 노선별 시뮬레이션 평가를 통해 경쟁력 수준을 평가하고 향후 화물유치를 위한 나아가야 할 방향 등을 제시하였다. 첫째 향후 해공복합운송의 물량을 확보하기 위해서는 지리적으로 유리할 뿐만 아니라 본 연구의 시뮬레이션 분석에서도 도출되었듯이 중국발 미주착 부분에 더욱 집중적으로 관심을 가지고 비즈니스 모델을 창출하여야 할 것이다. 둘째, 해공복합운송의 주요 요인은 비용보다도 서비스에 의한 인지도 부분이나 전체적으로 걸리는 시간에 의하여 결정되는 것으로 나타났으므로 고객의 니즈에 맞는 서비스를 개발하고 이를 지속적으로 제공하여 해공복합운송에 대한 인지도 향상과 아울러 현재 추진 중인 청도와의 RFS(Road Feeder Service)시스템을 주요 해공복합운송의 출발항인 상해, 위해, 연태지역으로 확대하여 추진할 필요가 있을 것이다.

부산 연안역의 오존 농도에 미치는 해풍의 영향 (The Influences of 5ea Breeze on Surface Ozone Concentration in Pusan Coastal Area, Korea)

  • Air pollution characteristics and the influence of sea breeze on surface ozone concentration were studied using the data measured at 7 air quality continuous monitoring stations from June to September using 3 years (1990, 1993, 1994) in Pusan coastal area. Among the 246 sea breeze days for research Period, there were approximately 89 sea breeze days (36%) from lune to September, And there were 120 the episode days (68%) of ozone greater than or equal to 60 ppb in summer season. In 89 sea breeze days, the episode day was highly marked as 56 days (63%). So, we knew that the sea breeze greatly affects the occurence of ozone episode day. the ozone concentration under the condition of the sea breeze increase about 40% in the daytime. Frequencies distribution of $O_3$ concentration for sea breeze moved toward high concentration class. The characteristics of ozone concentration in relation to meteorological conditions of sea breeze is significant because we can discover major weather factors for eastablishing an air pollution- weather forecast system. For further. study about meterological approach method for photochemical air pollution, it is necessary to explain the characteristics of atmosphere below 1, 000 m, especially concerning the formation mechanism of inversion layers. And finally, we will study the relationships to synoptic weather conditions and vertical structure and diurnal variation of local wind systems including sea breeze, and the vertical movements of atmosphere in the city.

MERITS OF COMBINATION OF ACTIVE AND PASSIVE MICROWAVE SENSORS FOR DEVELOPING ALGORITHMS OF SST AND SURFACE WIND SPEED

  • In developing algorithms to retrieve the sea surface temperature (SST) and sea surface wind speed from the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer (AMSR) aboard the AQUA and the Advanced Earth Observation Satellite-II (ADEOS-II), data from the SeaWinds aboard ADEOS-II were helpful. Since features of the ocean microwave emission (Tb) related with ocean wind are not well understood, in case of using only AMSR data, combination of AMSR and SeaWinds revealed pronounced features about the ocean Tb. Two results from combinations of the two sensors were shown in this paper. One result was obtained at wind speeds over about 6m/s, in which the ocean Tb varies with the air-sea temperature difference, even though the SeaWinds wind speed is fixed at the same values. The ocean Tb increases as the air-sea temperature difference becomes negative, i.e., the boundary condition becomes unstable. This result indicates that the air temperature should be included in AMSR SST algorithm. The second result was obtained from comparison of two wind speeds between AMSR and SeaWinds. There is a small difference of two wind speeds, which might be related with several mechanisms, such as evaporation and plankton.

東海海面 熱交換에 影響을 미치는 大氣 및 海洋的 要因 (Atmospheric and Oceanic Factors Affecting the Air-Sea Thermal Interactions in the East Sea (Japan Sea))

  • 대기 및 해양적 요인들이 동해의 해면을 통한 열교환에 미치는 영향을 구명 하기 위하여, 해양의 열수지에 근거한 해석적인 모델을 만들고, 이 모델을 통하여 동해상 해면 열교환의 각 성분과 대기 온도의 연변화를 해석적으로 재현 (simulation) 하였다. 모델에 의한 이론적인 결과에 의하면, 동해에서 난류에 의한 열수송이 클수록 열복사, 잠열 및 현열의 방출이 증가한다. 그리고 표면수온이 증 가 함에 따라 잠열은 증가하지만, 역복사와 현열은 감소한다. 동해에서 연평균 수온이 1$^{\circ}C$ 증가하면 해상 기온의 연평균이 1.2$^{\circ}C$ 증가하는 효과를 가져오며, 해양의 저열량의 크기는 해면을 통한 열교환의 연변화에 지대한 영향을 미친다.

Al 7075-T651의 부식피로균열 성장 거동에 관한 연구(II) (A Study on Corrosion Fatigue Crack Growth Behavior in Al 7075-T651(II))

  • Fatigue crack growth rates in commercial plate of high strength Al 7075-T651 were investigated for the T-L direction in air, water and sea water. In this paper the effect of cyclic load wave-form(trapezoid and triangle) on fatigue crack growth rates in air, water and sea water environments were investigated using standard LEFM testing procedures. It was founded that the fatigue crack growth behaviors were not affected by cyclic load wave-forms. In region II (stable crack growth region), the fatigue crack growth behaviors were insensitive to cyclic load wave-forms and were sensitive to environment i.e. fatigue crack growth behaviors were higher in sea water than in air for all cyclic load wave-form. The result of fractographical morphology in air, water and sea water by SEM showed obvious dimple rupture and typical striation in air, but transgranular fracture surface in water and sea water. The values m are not affected by corrosion environments but C are different values.

  • The urban pollution if affected by local environmental, so it is necessary to consider area characteristics such as emission source and meteorological phenomena, in studying urban air pollution. Ulsan is laocated on south-east coast and has many industrial facilities, so many people have concerned about air pollution. This study contain conducting numerical simulation of air pollutant concentration considered land and sea breeze in Ulsan area with the numerical model.

부산연안역에서 관측된 해풍전선의 특성 (On Characteristics of Sea Breeze Front observed in Pusan Coastal Area, Korea)

  • We have analyzed focusing on the characteristics, speed and width of sea breeze front in Pusan coastal area using the meteorological data observed at Kimhae air force meteorological station because the presence of the front has Important effects on the dInstributlon of air pollution. The inland penetration of sea breeze front was recognized by steep variation of meteorological parameters(wind direction, wind speed, temperature, dew point temperature, air pressure, relative humidity) before and after its passage and the variation of $SO_2$ concentration, the speed and width of the sea breeze front was 2.07m/s and 217m, respectively. The structure and inland penetration of sea breeeze front should be taken into account whenever a model is to be compared with detailed field measurements.

동해의 수온, 기온 및 해면 온도차의 연변화 (On Annual Variations of Sea Water and Air Temperatures, and Sea-Air Temperature Separation in the East Sea (Japan Sea))

  • 12년간($1958{\sim}1969$) 동해의 경위도 2도 간격 격자상의 자료에 대한 조화분석을 통하여 동해의 표면수온, 기온 및 해면온도차의 계절적인 변화를 분석한 결과에 의하면, 동해에서 수온과 기온은 복사에너지 뿐만 아니라 해류와 계절풍에 의한 열이류의 영향을 크게 받고 있다. 동해에서 쓰시마난류가 흐르는 남동해역은 같은 위도상의 북서해역에 비하여 표면수온과 기온의 연평균이 높고 연교차의 폭이 작다. 이는 쓰시마난류에 의한 열이류 변화의 위상이 복사에너지 변화의 위상과 반대여서 계절적인 온도의 변화폭을 줄이기 때문이다. 동해에서 연평균 수온은 연평균 기온보다 $2{\sim}4^{\circ}C$ 높으며, 수온과 기온간의 차이는 계절에 따라 크게 변한다. 즉 여름에는 표면수온과 기온간에 차이가 거의 없지만, 겨울에는 수온이 기온보다 $6{\sim}10^{\circ}C$ 높으며, 겨울에 헌혈과 증발열을 통하여 해면으로부터 대기로 공급되는 에너지는 태양복사에너지의 2배에 달한다.

Characteristics of Weather and Climate over the Okhotsk Sea

  • The Okhotsk Sea is unique natural object with climatic peculiarities. The climate of the Okhotsk Sea results from the general distribution of solar radiation during a year, and the characteristics of the atmospheric circulation that varies through a year: In cold half year the main pressure formations are Siberian high and Aleutian low. Asian low centered on Afghanistan dominates over the Asian continent in summer. The North-Pacific sea surface is under effect of permanent North Pacific high. The changes in their position from year to year are very significant. The anticyclonic activity over the Far Eastern Seas is one of the main factors for the formation of weather anomalies over the adjacent territories. The analysis of summer weather characteristics over the coast of Okhotsk and East Sea using the data obtained from Hydrometeorological stations during $1949\~1990$ showed that, to a great extent, distribution of the air temperature depends on thermal state of the Okhotsk Sea and atmospheric circulation over it. We show some relations between weather characteristics and the intensity of atmospheric action center for the North Pacific high in summer when its ridge propagates to Okhotsk Sea. Correlation coefficients between air pressure over the Okhotsk Sea and air temperature for the coastal areas reach up to 0.7. Analysis of the spatial-temporal distribution of main meteorological values over the Okhotsk Sea such as air pressure, and air temperature are also performed.

남극 브랜스필드 해협에서의 퇴적과정과 관련된 기후특성 (Climatic Characteristics Related with Sedimentary Process in Bransfield Strait, Antarctica)

  • This study examines the relationships among sea ice concentration, surface air temperature, surface wind, and SST (Sea Surface Temperature) in Bransfield Strait to understand the climatic characteristics and its related sedimentary process there. In analyses of the monthly data, during the austral autumn (Mar., Apr., and May), the frequency of southeasterlies is correlated positively with the sea ice concentration and negatively with the surface air temperature, whereas that of northwesterlies is reverse. These relationships are explained by the process that the southeasterlies of the cold air from the Antarctic Continent affect the ocean current around Bransfield Strait. And then the ocean current makes the sea ice generated in the Weddell Sea drift into the strait. During the spring (Sep., Oct., and Nov.), sea ice concentration and surface air perature are closely correlated with the frequency of northwesterlies with warm air mass. In the some parts of the northern boundary region, the sea ice concentration in Bransfield Strait is positively correlated with the SST during the autumn and spring. Such relationship may rather propel the sea ice melting in proportion to the sea ice concentration during the autumn.
