A Study on Lightweight Design of Cantilever-type Helideck Using Topology Design Optimization (위상 최적설계를 활용한 캔틸레버식 헬리데크 경량화 연구)

  • In the offshore industry, helicopters are mainly used for transportation of goods or operating personnel between offshore sites and onshore facilities. A helideck is a structure that is required for landing and take-off of helicopters on the offshore structure. There are several shapes of helidecks depending on the type of offshore structures or installation location. Among them, cantilever-type helidecks usually provide more space on the topside of offshore structures and it is safer against potential accidents like fire or explosion. In this paper, the cantilever-type helideck is selected for the research object and topology design optimization is applied for lightweight design of the helideck. A finite element model is then created from the optimal layout of truss structures of the helideck, and structural analysis is performed under various landing conditions and wind loads. Based on the analysis results, the detailed section dimensions of structural members are determined so that the maximum stress at each structure member does not exceed the allowable stress of the structural material. Also, the final optimal design shows significant decrease in the total weight of the helideck.

The effect of cafe mobile apps' service convenience on perceived value and re-use intention (카페 모바일 애플리케이션의 서비스 편의성이 지각된 가치 및 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The increasing use of mobile applications is a phenomenon that has recently come to be beneficial to people in their private life due to increased income and changes in life style. In particular, analyzing customers' consumer sentiment can be seen as a pursuit form of convenience that enables efficient use of time and effort. In this study, based on previous studies, we examine the causal relation model that influences reuse intention, which is a dependent variable through perceived value as a parameter by measuring the service convenience for cafe mobile application. In order to accomplish purpose of this study, references related to service convenience, perceived value, and reuse intention were reviewed as literature research methods. For the empirical study, the research was carried out through Macro Mill Embrain Co., Ltd. Online research was conducted for one week from October 26 to November 8, 2018. There are 13 items of the collected data were excluded and 324 items suitable for irradiation were used. Study results show that service convenience of cafe mobile application has a positive effect on perceived value and reuse intention. In addition, in the relationship that cafe mobile app's service convenience has a significant (+) influence on reuse intention, perceived value proved to have meaningful results as intermediary roles. Implications of this study are as follows. First of all, this study will be helpful for cafe companies and consumers if utilize the service convenience of cafe mobile application in perceived value and reuse intention in marketing applications. Therefore, theoretically, we propose the development direction of cafe mobile application and present academic data for marketing strategy innovation and competitive advantage in the food service industry that conforms to the fourth industrial revolution era.

A Study on the Evaluation of Airborne Lidar Height Accuracy for Application of 3D Cadastral (3차원지적 적용을 위한 항공라이다의 수직 정확도 평가에 관한 연구)

  • At present, Cadastral map of 2 dimensional is in the stream of changing it to 3 dimensional type supported by GPS and laser techniques. In addition, this steam can be explained at the same time with improvement of equipment of storing much information, support of equipment for imaginative 3D spatial information, and support of equipment of expressing land in 3D Cadastral. This study suggest to apply airborne lidar survey technique on cadastral map to acquire comparably and quickly detailed height of ground. For doing this, this study checked out credibility regarding accuracy of airborne lider survey. After choosing research area, this study has done the airborne lidar survey and acquire the result after surveying Cadastral Comparison Point to check out the accuracy of acquired results. In addition, this study check out the result of Cadastral Comparison Point and airborne lidar survey applied by paired sample t-test based on actual results. The result is that test statistics is 0.322 which is 5 % similar level and null hypothesis cannot be rejected, so this study found out that result of both survey ways are the same. Therefore, the result of airborne lidar survey can be utilized to build up 3D Cadastral information hereafter.

Protective effects of red ginseng according to steaming time on HCl/ethanol-induced acute gastritis (염산/에탄올로 유도된 급성 위염 동물모델에서 증숙시간에 따른 홍삼의 보호 효과)

  • The objective of the present study was to evaluate the protective effect of red ginseng (RG) according to steaming time on 150 mM HCl/60 % ethanol induced gastric ulcer models in mice. The sample was divided into 3 groups-G (dried ginseng), RG 4 (steamed 4 h and dried ginseng), RG 6 (steamed 6 h and dried ginseng), and determined through in vitro experiments, such as 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl and 2,2'-azinobis-3-ethyl-benzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid radical scavenging activity, HPLC analysis, total polyphenol, and flavonoid contents. In vitro experiment results were depended on steaming hours. Based on the results, we chose two samples (G, RG 6) and conducted in vivo experiments. Mice were divided into 5 groups: Nor (normal group), Con (acute gastritis mice treated with distilled water), G (gastris induced by HCl/Ethanol treated with 100 mg/kg G), RG 6 (gastris induced by HCl/ethanol treated with 100 mg/kg RG 6), and SC (gastris induced by HCl/Ethanol treated with 10 mg/kg sucralfate). In our results revealed that RG 6 suppressed elevated reactive oxygen species, and inflammatory related makers, such as cyclooxygenase-2, inducible nitric oxide synthase, tumor necrosis factor alpha, and interleukin-1 beta. In addition, gastric lesion area was improved. These results suggest that RG 6 protects the stomach by attenuating oxidative stress and inflammatory response under gastric ulcer conditions. Therefore, RG 6 should be a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment of acute gastric ulcer.

Analysis of Paddy Rice Water Footprint under Climate Change Using AquaCrop (AquaCrop을 이용한 기후변화에 따른 미래 논벼 물발자국 변화 분석)

  • Climate change causes changes in rainfall patterns, temperature and drought frequency. Climate change impact influences on water management and crop production. It is critical issue in agricultural industry. Rice is a staple cereal crop in South Korea and Korea uses a ponding system for its paddy fields which requires a significant amount of water. In addition, water supply has inter-relationship with crop production which indicates water productivity. Therefore, it is important to assess overall impacts of climate change on water resource and crop production. A water footprint concept is an indicator which shows relationship between water use and crop yield. In addition, it generally composed of three components depending on water resources: green, blue, grey water. This study analyzed the change trend of water footprint of paddy rice under the climate change. The downscaled climate data from HadGEM3-RA based on RCP 8.5 scenario was applied as future periods (2020s, 2050s, 2080s), and historical climate data was set to base line (1990s). Depending on agro-climatic zones, Suwon and Jeonju were selected for study area. A yield of paddy rice was simulated by using FAO-AquaCrop 5.0, which is a water-driven crop model. Model was calibrated by adjusting parameters and was validated by Mann-Whitney U test statistically. The means of water footprint were projected increase by 55 % (2020s), 51 % (2050s) and 48 % (2080s), respectively, from the baseline value of $767m^2/ton$ in Suwon. In case of Jeonju, total water footprint was projected to increase by 46 % (2020s), 45 % (2050s), 12 % (2080s), respectively, from the baseline value of $765m^2/ton$. The results are expected to be useful for paddy water management and operation of water supply system and apply in establishing long-term policies for agricultural water resources.

A Study on the Effect of Pro-Environmental Consumers on Environmental Education Utilizing Value-Attitude-Behavior Model (가치-태도-행동모델(VAB)을 활용한 친환경 소비자의 환경교육의 조절효과 연구)

  • This empirical study is to verify the moderating effects of environmental education on pro-environmental consumers. For this purpose, we used Value-Attitude-Behaviro Model(VAB). In addition, as an environmental education method, the environmental education method using 7 environmental movies by the multimedia with excellent learning effect in order to increase the interest and educational commitment of the learners was utilized. A total of 116 subjects were divided into experimental group and control group, and the experiment was designed based on Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design to grasp the effect of environmental education after conducting environmental education to the experiment group. The results of the analysis showed that environmental education had no effect on environmental values but it had a positive effect on improving the attitude and the pro-environmental behavior. This study proved that the sustainable environmental education could form pro-environmental behavior, even though the environmental sense of values had not been formed in adolescence, and furthermore, the earlier researches had been mainly focused on the effect of the environmental education for the adolescent.

The Effects of Culinary.Food & Beverage Employees' Stress Coping Style on Job Satisfaction and Customer Orientation (조리 및 식음료 종사원의 스트레스 대처전략이 직무만족도 및 고객지향성에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of food & beverage employees' stress coping styles in the deluxe hotel industry on job satisfaction and customer orientation. Based on total 250 food & beverage employees obtained from empirical research, this study reviewed the reliability and fitness of the research model and verified a total of 2 hypotheses using the AMOS program. The hypothesized relationships in the model test simultaneously by using a structural equation model(SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit the data, ${\chi}^2$=252.876(p<0.001), df=143, CMIN/DF=1.768, GFI=0.914, AGFI=0.873, NFI=0.936, CFI=0.971, RMSEA=0.056. The model's fit, as indicated by these indexes, was deemed satisfactory, thus providing a good basis for testing the hypothesized paths. The SEM showed that the emotion oriented(${\beta}$=-.181, p<0.01) and avoidance oriented(${\beta}$=-.129, p<0.05) had a negative significant influence on job satisfaction. The multi-group analysis effects on division and status did. Also, job satisfaction(${\beta}$=.599, p<0.01) had a positive significant influence on customer orientation. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

Analysis of the Ecological Efficiency of Chinese Provincial Based on the Three-stage DEA Model (3단계 DEA모델을 이용한 중국의 에코 효율성 측정에 관한 연구)

  • Ecological efficiency is an important index measuring and reflecting the sustainable development level of economy, resources and environment in a region. This paper makes an empirical study on the ecological efficiency of 31 provinces in China in 2014 with the three-stage DEA model. The results show that the three indexes, the total investment in environmental governance (Unit: hundred million Yuan), the second industry proportion(%), and per capita automobile ownership (car/ten thousand people) functioning as the external environmental variables have significantly impacted the regional ecological efficiency. Excluding the impact of the external environment and statistical noise, the technical efficiency of regional ecological efficiency has increased from 0.526 to 0.639, and the pure technical efficiency has increased from 0.650 to 0.858, with the scale efficiency decreased from 0.833 to 0.740, accurately reflecting the regional ecological efficiency level. 31 Chinese provinces are classified into four different types according to the pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency. Every region shall, according to the characteristics of its efficiency, emphasize differently on improving the management level or expanding the scale of production so as to improve the ecological efficiency.

A Study of the Growth Characteristics of Starry Flounder Platichthys Stellatus in Accordance with the LED Wavelength (LED 파장에 따른 강도다리 Platichthys Stellatus 성장특성)

  • Currently the fish aquaculture industry of Korea is focused on the mass culture of flatfish (Paralichthys olivaceus) and and rockfish (Sebastes schlegeli) with completely controlled culture techniques. Recently, there has been considerable interest in new species development, such as the starry flounder (Platichthys stellatus). The value of starry flounder (Platichthys stellatus) as a raw fish increases with time because it is tasty, light, and bouncy. In this paper, the growth characteristics dependent on the LED wavelengths and the optimal growth conditions of the starry flounder were studied. In these experiments 4 different kinds of LED lighting, configurations were designed and prepared using red, green, blue and white, respectively. The fish aquaculture experiments were conducted over 10 weeks in four fish tanks, each installed with a different color of LED lighting. 10 starry flounders of 13 ~ 17g were placed into each tank. The effects of each color of light on the growth rate of the starry flounders were then examined. As a result, the starry flounders under the green LED lighting showed the highest growth rate, followed by the white, red, and blue LED lighting. Based on these results, a green light provides a suitable breeding environment for the starry flounder.

A Data Migration Model and Case Study for Building Management System of Science and Technology Contents (과학기술정보콘텐츠 통합관리시스템 구축을 위한 데이터 마이그레이션 모델 수립 및 적용 사례)

  • The domestic market of database in Korea is estimated to be over 3.663 trillion won. The data migration is getting to be more important along with the continuous growth of the database industry. g-CRM and private recommending function are examples of the service that can be given through coupling among customer database, product database, geographic information database, and others. The core infrastructure is also the database which is integrated, perfect, and reliable. There are not enough researches on efficient way of data migration and integrating process and investigation of migrated data though trends of database in IT environment as above. In connection with this issue, we have made a model for data migration on scientific and technological contents and suggest the result of data migration process adapting that model. In addition, we verified migration's exhaustiveness, migration's consistency, and migration's coherence for investigation of migrated data and database. From the result, we conclude data migration based on proper model has a significant influence on the database consistency and the data values correctness and is essential to maintain high qualified database.
