As a medium for communication on science and technology, science museum could be important to adults who finished formal school education. By analysing all the exhibits at the National Science Museum and conducting a face-to-face interview survey toward 100 adult visitors, based on the PEP / IS model's perspective(Kim, 2007), this study aimed to find a way to induce many adults to visit science museum from the information consumer's viewpoint, not the information provider's one. The result was that most of the exhibits were not related to problems which people focused attention on. About half of visitors, therefore, did not relate their problems with exhibits and responded that there was no relationship between exhibits and their everyday life. However, they had an idea that science and technology could contribute to solving their problems. These findings could suggest that first, science exhibits in relation to people's focused problems or issues are to be developed, second, programs for parents who are accompanied by their children are to be developed, and last, adults' engagement in planning the science museum exhibits is to be considered.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of using standardized patients on nursing competence, communication skills, and learning satisfaction in health assessment. Method: This study was a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized post-test design. Study participants were recruited from third-year nursing students at a university. The data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The mean scores of nursing competence and communication skills were significantly higher in the experimental group than the control group. However, the two groups were not statistically different in learning satisfaction. Conclusion: The findings suggest that the use of standardized patients compared to the traditional method is an effective educational method for health assessment in nursing competence and communication skills. Therefore, it is necessary to develop various scenarios and apply standardized patients for health assessment. In addition, further research is required to evaluate its effects.

We have witnessed the rapid development of information technology in recent years. One of the key phenomena is the fast, near-exponential increase of data. Consequently, most of the traditional data classification methods fail to meet the dynamic and real-time demands of today's data processing and analyzing needs--especially for continuous data streams. This paper proposes an improved incremental learning algorithm for a large-scale data stream, which is based on SVM (Support Vector Machine) and is named DS-IILS. The DS-IILS takes the load condition of the entire system and the node performance into consideration to improve efficiency. The threshold of the distance to the optimal separating hyperplane is given in the DS-IILS algorithm. The samples of the history sample set and the incremental sample set that are within the scope of the threshold are all reserved. These reserved samples are treated as the training sample set. To design a more accurate classifier, the effects of the data volumes of the history sample set and the incremental sample set are handled by weighted processing. Finally, the algorithm is implemented in a cloud computing system and is applied to study user behaviors. The results of the experiment are provided and compared with other incremental learning algorithms. The results show that the DS-IILS can improve training efficiency and guarantee relatively high classification accuracy at the same time, which is consistent with the theoretical analysis.

최근 고령화로 인한 건강에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있다. 이는 만성질환의 의료비용 증가에 대한 요구사항이 뚜렷이 나타나고 있으며, 소득증대와 삶의 질 향상으로 새로운 첨단의료기술이 필요한 상황으로 기존의 의료기술에 정보통신기술을 연계하여 첨단기술을 적용한 선진국 형 의료기술의 표준화가 시급하다. 정보통신기술의 표준화 선점경쟁에 WBAN (Wireless Body Area Network)과 여러 가지 무선통신 기술의 표준을 살펴보고, 양질의 의료서비스 제공을 통한 전 국민의 의료서비스 질 향상 및 의료기술 강국으로 가기위한 환경조성이 필요하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 의료기술과 정보통신기술을 융합할 때 필요한 구성과 연관기술의 관계를 설명하고, 첨단 의료기기로 발전을 위한 정보통신 기술의 표준들을 정리해 보고자 한다.

Smart building gate security control system using smartphone integrated with near field communication (NFC) has become part of daily life usage these days. The technology change in replacing RF NFC device using visible light communication technology based approach growing faster in recent days. This paper propose a design and development of gate security control system using color code based user authentication ID generation as part of an intelligent access control system to control automatic door open and close. In this approach gate security access control use the recent visible light communication technology trends to transfer the user specific authentication code to door access control system using color code on smartphone screen. Using a camera in the door access control system (ACS), color codes on smartphone screens are detected and matched to the database of authenticated user to open the door automatically in gate security system. We measure the visual light communication technology efficiency as a part of the research and the experiments have revealed that more than 95% users authenticated correctly at the suggested experiment environment on gate security control system.

전자저널은 학술커뮤니케이션의 핵심자원으로 자리매김하였다. 그러나 학술시장의 출판 및 가격책정구조가 새롭게 변화한 전자환경에 발맞추어 합리적으로 변모하지 못함으로 인해 전자저널 컨소시엄을 둘러싼 학술커뮤니케이션은 여러 문제점에 봉착하였다. 본 연구는 포괄적인 문헌연구 및 각국의 학술연구 기관 및 단체의 활동 분석을 통해 전자저널 구독 관련 주요 쟁점사항을 빅딜, 가격모형, 라이선스 계약, 아카이빙, 독점 및 저작권 측면에서 검토하였다. 나아가 이러한 이슈들에 대한 국제적인 대응동향을 표준 라이선스 개발, 이용통계의 표준화, 전자저널 아카이빙, 공공접근 활성화 측면에서 살펴보며 변화하는 학술커뮤니케이션 환경에서 국내 도서관 및 컨소시엄이 취해야 하는 전략들을 고찰해보았다.
