ARD기반의 ICT체험 교육콘텐츠 효용성 개선 및 활성화 구현 (Achieving the improvement of efficiency and vitalization of ARD-based ICT experiential education contents)

  • Use of technology through utilization of ICT (Information Communication Technology) in field study area is rapidly increasing. Thus, when applying ICT to experiential education, apart from experiential education contents in simple form, the demand for new high quality contents is increasing considering change in education paradigm focusing on creativity. As a result, high quality interactive experiential education content for developing self-directed future talents is required. As a result of this, the development of ARD-based ICT experiential education content system that enhances learning effect of students by integrating ARD-based (Augmented Reality Display) ICT and experiential education to promote existence and immersion is being tested. This paper aims to improve efficacy and achieve vitalization through case analysis of AR-based ICT experiential education content. As a result of case analysis, the composition of content for improving education content included 1) constant securing and strengthening of experiential education content, 2) necessity for development of participating education content by diverse age groups, 3) development of differentiated ICT experiential education content, and 4) securing professional manpower and development of content in connection with education process. Therefore, with the efficacy of ARD-based ICT experiential education content, this study can first, enhance bond between students, second, enable self-directed learning, third, increase practical understanding in contents that were difficult to control by textbook contents, and fourth, increase interest and immersion in learning. Therefore, the contents on new converging technology that can maximize the development of constant content and cooperation between ICT technology and pedagogy for educating creativity and autonomy of ICT experiential education content.

  • Researchers who use science and technology information were found to ask an information service in which they can excerpt the contents they needed, rather than using the information at article level. In this study, we micronized the contents of scholarly articles into text, image, and table and then constructed a micro-content DB to design a new information system prototype based on this micro-content. After designing the prototype, we performed usability test for this prototype so as to confirm the usefulness of the system prototype. We expect that the outcome of this study will fulfill the segmented and diversified information need of researchers.

An In vitro Enzymatic Digestion Method for Estimation of the Acrylamide Contents of Foods

  • In this study, the acrylamide contents of foods were estimated via liquid chromatography (LC)/mass spectrometry (MS)/MS after the food matrix constituents had been degraded with digestive enzymes (i.e., pepsin and pancreatin) and extracted with water. The quantities of acrylamide released from samples of cereal, potato chips, peanuts, and coffee were $62{\pm}5.1,\;970,\;106{\pm}20$, and 890 ppb, respectively. No acrylamide was detected in samples of soybean curd (tofu), fish cake, and ham. Compared to the amounts of acrylamide detected after extraction with water only, we noted no significant differences in the soybean curd, fish cake, potato chip, ham, and coffee samples. However, the quantities of acrylamide released from the cereal and peanut samples were approximately 2-fold larger following pretreatment with the digestive enzymes. This study presents a new in vitro enzymatic digestion method which allows for a more accurate estimation of the acrylamide contents of foods.

Analysis of Trend and Convergence for Science and Technology using the VOSviewer

  • In this study, articles of the science and technology field that had been monitored for the period from 2002 to 2013 using GTB (Global Trends Briefing) were analyzed. Specifically, the VOSviewer was used to analyze the annual science and technology trends by keyword and the science and technology standard-classification information indicated in the GTB articles, and the convergence trends were therefore monitored. The findings of this study show that active studies were under way in the fields of material science and new and renewable energy, and that convergence has progressed. This result indicates that the information of the articles on papers and patents is more reliable, as it can reflect the current trends more rapidly in the science and technology field than the paper information or the patent information that is traditionally used in analyses of science and technology information.

템퍼드 마르텐사이트강의 수소취성에 미치는 Cr 및 Mo 함량의 영향 (Effect of Cr and Mo Contents on Hydrogen Embrittlement of Tempered Martensitic Steels)

  • The effect of Cr and Mo contents on the hydrogen embrittlement of tempered martensitic steels was investigated in this study. After the steels with different Cr and Mo contents were austenitized at 820 ℃ for 90 min, they were tempered at 630 ℃ for 120 min. The steels were composed of fully tempered martensite with a lath-type microstructure, but the characteristics of the carbides were dependent on the Cr and Mo contents. As the Cr and Mo contents increased, the volume fraction of film-like cementite and prior austenite grain size decreased. After hydrogen was introduced into tensile specimens by electrochemical charging, a slow strain-rate test (SSRT) was conducted to investigate hydrogen embrittlement behavior. The SSRT results revealed that the steel with lower Cr or lower Mo content showed relatively poor hydrogen embrittlement resistance. The hydrogen embrittlement resistance of the tempered martensitic steels increased with increasing Mo content, because the reduction in the film-like cementite and prior austenite grain size plays an important role in improving hydrogen embrittlement resistance. The results indicate that controlling the Cr and Mo contents is essential to achieving a tempered martensitic steel with a combination of high strength and excellent hydrogen embrittlement resistance.

Investigation of Radial Distributions of Tangential Strains and of Moisture Contents within a Log Cross Section by Circumferential Slices

  • This study was carried out to provide the so-called circumferential slicing method for investigating radial distributions of the tangential strains and of moisture contents within the log cross section (LC) of Kalopanax pictus during indoor drying it. While the heartwood showed an almost uniform moisture content distribution in the range of about 50~55% in case of the green wood, it has gradually decreased toward the outer side, showing about 19% of moisture content difference from the innermost slice. Although the moisture gradient along the radial direction has gradually become gentle as drying progresses, the sapwood of the outer side represented the moisture contents below the fiber saturation point after 24 hours of drying while the heartwood in the inner part showed the moisture contents higher than the fiber saturation point. The pith side was laid under the tensile stress after 24 hours of drying, and then gradually decreasing toward the bark side, and showed the distribution being switched again to the tensile stress on the bark side. As the drying has progressed, this trend got more intensified, and finally showed the U-shaped distribution model after 48 hours of drying. The circumferential slice test is considered to be suitable in quantitatively determining the tangential strains and moisture content within a LC.

Determination of the energy contents and nutrient digestibility of corn, waxy corn and steam-flaked corn fed to growing pigs

  • Objective: The research was conducted to determine the digestible (DE) and metabolizable energy (ME) contents as well as the apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) of nutrients in corn, waxy corn and steam-flaked corn fed to growing pigs. Methods: Eighteen growing pigs with initial body weight of $15.42{\pm}1.41kg$ were randomly allotted to three diets including a corn diet, a waxy corn diet and a steam-flaked corn diet in a completely randomized design. Each treatment contained six replicates. The experiment lasted for 12 days, which comprised 7-d adaptation to diets followed by a 5-d total collection of feces and urine. The energy contents and the nutrient digestibility in three ingredients were calculated using direct method. Results: Compared to normal corn, both the amylose and dietary fiber contents in waxy corn were numerically lower, but the starch gelatinization degree was numerically greater. Moreover, the DE and ME contents as well as the ATTD of neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber (ADF) in waxy corn were significantly greater (p<0.05) than those in normal corn when fed to growing pigs. Furthermore, the steam-flaked corn had greater (p<0.05) DE and ME contents, and ATTD of ether extract and ADF compared to normal corn. Conclusion: Both variety and processing procedure have influence on chemical compositions, energy contents and nutrient digestibility of corn. The waxy corn and steam-flaked corn had greater degree of starch gelatinization and DE and ME contents compared to normal corn when fed to growing pigs.

과학기술정보 콘텐츠의 가치평가모형 프레임워크 연구 (The Study on Frameworks of Valuation Models for the Contents of Science and Technology Information)

  • 최근 무형자산의 이전 거래 등에 대한 관심이 증대하였으나, 전자적 데이터베이스(electronic database)와 같은 지식정보 콘텐츠의 시장가치를 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 모형이 부재함으로 관련 연구의 필요성이 제기된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 특허, 논문, 보고서 등을 포함하는 과학기술정보 콘텐츠의 시장가치를 평가하여, 무형자산 콘텐츠 시장에서 객관적 참조정보로 활용할 수 있도록 모형을 제안하는데 목적을 둔다. 먼저 기존의 가치평가에서 요구되는 핵심변수 중에서 콘텐츠 유형에 따른 현금흐름 산출로직을 살펴보고, 특허의 경우 기존의 기술가치평가에서 적용하는 개념을 기반으로 평가 방법을 제시하였다. 다음으로 논문과 보고서의 경우 이들 콘텐츠의 특징을 반영하기 위해 경제적 수명 추정시 기술혁신 지수와 시장수요 지수를 토대로 조절 가능한 정성적 평가 방법을 새롭게 제시하였으며, 현금흐름 산출로직은 투입원가 기반의 산정방식을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개별 과학기술정보 콘텐츠의 저작권 실시, 매매 등 적용할 수 있는 기술분야별, 비즈니스 모델별 평가체계를 구축할 수 있으며, 이러한 평가기반 구축을 통해 보다 객관적이고 합리적인 과학기술 콘텐츠 시장가치의 산출이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

태블릿 기반 G러닝 STEAM 플랫폼 개발 사례 분석 (The Case Study on the Tablet based STEAM G Learning Platform Development)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 STEAM 기반 태블릿 G러닝 콘텐츠 개발 과정을 분석하는 것이다. STEAM이란 Science(과학), Technology(기술), Engineering(공학), Art(예술), Mathematics(수학)를 뜻한다. STEAM은 이들 분야를 하나로 융합하여 교육함으로써 과학기술에 대한 학생들의 흥미와 이해를 높이고 융합적 사고와 문제해결 능력을 신장시키는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 초등학교에서 운영할 수 있는 3D STEAM 교육과정을 G러닝과 융합한 플랫폼 개발 과정을 분석하였다. STEAM 학습 주제 분석을 통해 선정된 5학년 과학 '태양계와 별'에 대한 학습자의 흥미와 몰입도를 높이기 위해 단순 IT기반 온라인 학습 콘텐츠가 아닌 G러닝과 융합된 학습 콘텐츠를 새로이 개발하였다. 학생들은 콘텐츠에 대해 높은 흥미와 몰입을 보여주었다.
