As cities become recently more crowded, various and enlarged, it is required a cutting-edge technology for fire industry. According to this, a transition is attempted from production intensive industry toward knowledge based industry. At this point, in order to develop fire industry into knowledge based high value industry, industry innovation capability is required and it heavily depends on human resource competitiveness. Accordingly, in this study is aimed to look the status of domestic fire industry personnel training by classifying the fire industry manpower by field skill personnel, high technology personnel, and professional research personnel and to suggest problems with personnel training followed by each classification and how to improve them.
Today, many companies have introduced an ERP system - an enterprise resources planning - in order to improve corporate credibility through transparent management and for quick responses to market situations through quick decision making. After the construction of an ERP system, many companies are having difficulty in calculating the appropriate number of personnel required for running the system because of a lack of standard for doing so, as well as a lack of pertinent procedures. As a result, the companies are having to resort to a trial-and-error approach. Therefore this paper studied a model for calculating the appropriate number of personnel required for efficiently running an ERP system after its construction, as well as for constantly meeting its performance targets. The developed model was applied empirically to calculate an appropriate number of personnel required, and an organization was set up according to this. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to present an optimized model for calculating the number of personnel required for operating an ERP system, that which addresses problems of existing models, in order to help companies organize the operation personnel and its size, as well as to provide more objectivity to the calculated number of personnel required and to improve credibility.
This research is accomplished for the purpose of providing fundamental materials to improve the level of prevention consciousness by deducting awareness difference through analyzing awareness level about terror preparation of members of crisis management system - the public service personnel in charge of crisis management in a self-governing body and the fire fighting public service personnel. For this research, That is measured through the priority order survey about a specialty of public service personnel in charge of crisis management and a level of crisis prepartion and a cooperation between crisis management system and etc. As a result of analysis, it is revealed that there is a difference about the priority order of measurement variable to terror preparation but all the members are recognizing the importance of that.
In this study, supervision resides fire mission against problems associated with case studies and surveys done through the side of the field work, technical personnel, fire management, including fire code aspects classified into three kinds of items dealt with the issue. Started at the scene of the problem in terms of performance, the issue of the construction process, mainly dealt with the issue at the time of completion. Fire management side, supervisor of technical personnel, human resources management issues, contract issues, fire code level, the frequent revisions of fire regulations, supervision, processing delays of the resulting report, the problem resides with the expansion of Fire Supervision target was mentioned. Finally, the target for each hierarchical supervision, and resident supervisor of the need for supervision of work performance test was carried out by the correlation.
This research is to identify how much toxic combustion gases are produced from Korea standardized real fire test (Class A&B) by using Room Corner Tester (RCT) and how much those gases are possibly dangerous to testing personnel by estimating the level of carboxyhemoglobin (% COHb). It is confirmed that testing personnel can be affected as more than 40% COHb from Class A 9th and 10th rating in respiration minute volume (RMV) 2 and from Class A 5th to Class A 10th rating in RMV 3 during the time for initial three minutes. Also, in the case of Class B real fire tests, although it is considered rather safe for the initial 1 minute, testing personnel can be affected as more than 20% COHb from Class B 16th to 20th rating in RMV 3 during total test time. Currently, the Korea standard is only focusing on the protection measures against the heat, but the it is neglecting the protection measures against toxic combustion gases. Therefore, according to this study, it is strongly recommended that testing personnel should wear a self-contained breathing apparatus, or the equivalence depending on the real fire test rating.

With regard to the personnel safety and other safety when the gas suppressants are discharged into the area where occupants exist, the short term and long term effects to the health of people are discussed mainly with the Carbon dioxide agent and Halon Replacement agents system. To gain the benefits of CO2 extinguishing systems while minimizing risk to people serious attention must be given to personnel safety in the design, installation, and maintenance of CO2 systems. Training of personnel is essential. A major factor in the use of a clean agent fire suppressant in a normally occupied area is toxicity. While all halocarbon agents are tested for long-term health hazards, the primary endpoint is acute or short-term exposure, The primary acute toxicity effects of the halocarbon agents described here are anesthesia and cardiac sensitization. For inert gases, the primary physiological concern is reduced oxygen concentration.
The 119 emergency medical services(EMS) personnel studied in this research are constantly exposed to traumatic events, which can lead to a variety of psychosocial problems and poor quality of life. In this study, we examined the effects of the Mind Subtraction Meditation Program on post-traumatic growth and resilience of 119 EMS personnel. In this study, we measured the conditions of 26 EMS personnel of A firefighting headquarters based on post-traumatic growth and resilience before and after implementing the short-term intensive for 2 nights and 3 days in $201^*$. The results showed that there was a significant increase in post-traumatic growth from $2.85({\pm}.67)$ to $3.60({\pm}.72)$ and resilience from $2.45({\pm}.39)$ to $2.83({\pm}.48)$ of the subjects between before and after the Mind Subtraction Meditation. In conclusion, the Mind Subtraction Meditation Program was effective in improving the posttraumatic growth and resilience of 119 EMS personnel. Therefore, Mind Subtraction Meditation Program could be proposed as a mental health promotion program for EMS personnel.
This study analyzed the safety management efficiency through input-oriented BCC Model using DEA by making of Models, in which this study selected the number of staff affiliated with the construction site, number of staff members on the construction team, and number of safety personnel as Input Factor, along with the number of disaster victims and zero-accident accomplished hours as output elements, targeting 40-or-so apartment building construction sites which are being built by 3 domestic construction companies. As a result of efficiency, it was 0.643, the number of efficient DMU was 4. In the aspect of returns to scale, 21 construction sites(52.5%) found to be in a state of increasing returns while 14 construction sites(35%) was in a state of Decreasing returns. The reason for inefficiency was found to lie in technical factors in case of 30 construction sites(75%). Lastly, inefficient DMU is in need of 38.9 % and 66% reduction in site personnel and safety personnel. Based on study results, the 29 construction sites accounting for 72.5% of DMU for safety management efficiency evaluation object turned out to do inefficient safety management that doesn't fit the size of each company.

The increasing size and complexity of modern construction projects demands mature capabilities of onsite personnel with regard to recognizing unsafe situations. Construction safety training is paper or computer-based and suffers from a distinct gap between the classroom training environment and real-world construction sites; even trained personnel can find it difficult to recognize many of the potential safety hazards at their jobsites even after receiving construction safety training. Immersive technologies can overcome the current limitations in construction safety training by reducing the gap between the classroom and a real construction environment. This research developed and tested a new Augmented Reality (AR)-based assessment tool to evaluate the hazard recognition skills of students majoring in construction management as part of a construction safety course. The quantitative and qualitative results of this research confirmed that AR-based assessment can become a very effective assessment tool to evaluate safety knowledge and skills in a construction safety course, outperforming both paper and computer-based assessment methods. The students preferred AR-based assessment because it provides a realistic visual context for real world safety hazards.
As marine chemical spill incidents increase, and damages caused by chemical spills become bigger and bigger, it is required to educate and train professional personnel for response to chemical spill incidents at sea. In this study, the education contents of domestic and foreign institutions for the training of specialists in response to marine chemical accidents were examined, and a comparative analysis of education and training contents was carried out in order to utilize it in the development of domestic education and training materials for HNS response personnel in Republic of Korea.
