In a Web 2.0 context, users are exposed to numerous smart devices and services that allow real-time interaction between users (or consumers) and developers (or producers). For the provisioning of new user-created services based on user's context, the data management of service creation experiences becomes a non-trivial task. This article introduces a data model for service creation and then proposes a service creation management architecture which enables new service creation using the data model, the management of the service creation data, and the semantic service discovery across internal/external service repositories. The article also explains the use of the proposed architecture with two different scenarios: home and mobile environments. The proposed architecture for service creation data management offers consistent and seamless handling of the service creation data throughout its usage lifecycle.

최근 그리드 미들웨어 개발 연구는 과학적 어플리케이션뿐만 아니라 상업적인 비즈니스 어플리케이션에서 활용가능하도록 웹서비스(Web service) 기술을 활용하고 있다. 이를 통해 정의된 그리드 서비스 구조를 Open Grid Service Architecture(OGSA)라고 한다. OGSA 를 통해 정의된 그리드 서비스 개념은 GGF 를 통해 OGSI 라는 표준 기술 명세서로 채택되었다. OGSI 를 지원하는 그리드 서비스는 확장성있고 상호운용성을 높여 다른 서비스와의 연동 및 통합을 쉽게 이루게 한다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 그리드 정보 서비스를 OGSI 기반의 서비스 구조인 Grid Advanced Information Service(GAIS)로 재구성한다. CAIS 는 그리드 미들웨어의 기본 서비스로써 다음의 특징을 가진다. 우선, 기존의 GT3 기반의 그리드 정보 서비스와의 서비스 인터페이스 측면에서 호환성을 가지면서, 내부적으로 동적 Virtual Organiaation(VO)관리 기능을 추가로 가진다. 그리고, 여러 GAIS 들간의 VO 정보를 관리할 수 있도록 Peer-to-peer 기반의 정보 분산기능을 가진다. 또한, GAIS 내 등록된 서비스들에 대해서는 Service data에 따른 그룹화를 통해 서비스 discovery기능을 강화하게 된다. 그리드 사용자는 GAIS 를 통해 다양한 VO 에 대한 정보를 검색하고, VO 의 생성 및 참여할 수 있고, 자신이 속한 VO 에 대하여 효율적으로 자원정보 및 서비스 데이터(Service Data)를 접근할 수 있다.

Information services adopting RSS(Really Simple Syndication) is on an increase. It is replacing the existing email services. Information in the area of science and technology is of vast amount and various area and their life-cycle and service is complex. Institutions providing information of a single area are not faced with many obstacles in designing information services using RSS in acquiring a channel for the service. However, RSS service in the area of science and technology has to be more specific in designing and implementing the services. In this study, RSS is compared with other information service protocols, domestic and international trends in the area of RSS is analyzed to implement the RSS based Science and Technology information service system(STI-RSS) and its service.

Agro-Meteorological Information Service (AMIS) network has been established since 2001 by Rural Development Administration (RDA) in Korea, and has provided access to current and historical weather data with useful information for agricultural activities. AMIS network includes 158 automated weather stations located mostly in farm region, with planning to increase by 200 stations until 2017. Agrometeorological information is disseminated via the web site (http://weather.rda.go.kr) to growers, researchers, and extension service officials. Our services will give enhanced information from observation data (temperature, precipitation, etc.) to application information, such as drought index, agro-climatic map, and early warning service. AMIS network of RDA will help the implementation of an early warning service for weather risk management.

The purpose of this study is to provide some constructing strategies for the effective service of government informations aiming at enhancing the quality of public services and the competitiveness of government in case of Korea. The major suggestions of this study are as follows: First, the constructing strategies for the effective service of government informations should be implemented in the level of national government reforms. Second, the constructing strategies for the effective service of government informations are to drive at linking the related policies and the use of information communication technologies. Third, the constructing strategies for the effective service of government informations are should be based on the information superhighway project initiated in 1994. Fourth, the constructing strategies for the effective service of government informations are to drive at introducing the concepts of IRM(Information Resources Management) and emphasizing the concepts of information transfer. Fifth, the constructing strategies for the effective service of government informations are to drive at adapting the related new information technologies including Internet by a means to full joint utilization of information. Sixth, the constructing strategies for the effective service of government informations are to drive at the policy of full joint utilization of information linking through the private and public sector. Finally, the constructing strategies for the effective service of government informations are to drive at considering the linkage of other countries and international organizations.

KISTI portal service is currently presenting the documents with many terminologies, so users can't find the results having their intention by using an umbrella query. In this paper, we suggest user oriented retrieval service that reflects query auto-complete, related-word suggestion and query expansion that uses nouns and relationships of U-WIN which is known as a semantic language resource. We intend to advance the retrieval satisfaction of current science & technology information service by using U-WIN's semantic information and improve the service environment that user can retrieve what they want quickly and exactly.

In this paper, we identify the factors of supplier service quality, and explore the relationships between these factors and customer satisfaction, and between these factors and customer loyalty. Through empirical analysis, the five factors, such as technical ability, information service, service flexibility, delivery reliability, and after service, are identified. The analysis also shows that information service and service flexibility influence customer satisfaction, and service flexibility and after service influence customer loyalty.

We present in this paper the methodology for automatic generation of OWL-S service model ontology along with the results and issues. First, we extract information related to atomic services and their properties such as IOPE from the UML class diagram, and retrieve information related to the composition of services from the UML state-chart diagram. Then, the XSLT applications utilize the acquired information to generate the OWL-S service model ontology through the predefined mappings between OWL-S constructs for composite services and UML state-chart primitives. For the justification of generated service ontology, several validation checks are performed. Our service ontology generation method is general and fully automatic, as well as effective, in that it is achieved in an environment familiar to developers, and information needed to generate service ontology is provided necessarily during service development. It is also noticeable to facilitate representing the condition with GUI rather than a complex language such as OCL.

This paper starts by describing the wireless internet service as a new function in the internet age. It then discusses the usefulness of wireless internet for improveing library information service. Recently the use of wireless internet service, as a major internet service in the future, has been rapidly increased because it can be provided various type of information using individual's cellulasphone without the time and space restrictions. Therefore, wireless internet service will be of great use for decentralization and rapidness of library function as well as improvement of user service by providing various interface of information retrieval.
