Objective : Among the studies using neglect interventions in the field of occupational therapy, this study was conducted to confirm the contents and characteristics of literature applying single-subject studies, and to analyze the intervention effect and quality level. Methods : This study is a systematic review, and the single subject study published in academic journals for the last 10 years. Results : As a result of the thesis analysis, it was conducted on stroke, and the removal design with seven studies, and two studies were multiple baseline designs. As a result of analyzing the size of the intervention effect applied to neglect, 'highly effective' was found seven times, 'fairly effective' 18 times, 'questionable effective' five times, and 'unreliable effective' six times. As a result of the quality level, there were no studies with low level, with six high level and three medium level. Conclusion : As a result of the study, various methods were applied to neglect interventions. It is thought that this study will provide basic data for evidence-based interventions.

Objective : This study sought to explore occupational therapy students' awareness of Developmental Rehabilitation Services (DRSs) and the certification of Sensory Developmental Rehabilitation Service Providers (SDRSPs). Moreover, it also aimed to examine the differences in students' awareness based on general characteristics. The findings were intended to provide a foundation for research on sensory developmental rehabilitation. Methods : An online survey was conducted among 199 occupational therapy students nationwide from October 4 to November 5, 2022. Frequency analysis was used to assess the general characteristics and additional items. Both descriptive statistics and frequency analysis were employed to assess the students' awareness of DRSs and SDRSP certification. Any differences in the students' awareness based on their general characteristics were examined using t-tests and an analysis of variance. Results : The students' awareness of DRSs was moderate (4.50 ± 2.40), while their awareness of SDRSP certification was also moderate (4.22 ± 2.55). The awareness of DRSs varied significantly based on the students' academic year and child-related practice experience. Similarly, the awareness of SDRSP certification differed significantly based on the students' academic program, academic year, recognition by the related department, and child-related practice experience. Conclusion : The occupational therapy students expressed a strong intention to provide DRSs and become certified as SDRSPs. However, their awareness levels were moderate. These findings emphasize the importance of educational efforts and the provision of relevant information about DRSs and SDRSP certification in universities to foster the development of competent SDRSPs.

Starting with the understanding, it is expected that various studies on play of children will be done in the future.
Objective : This study was conducted to review about instrument for bilateral upper extremity assessment. Methods : We searched published papers in Medline database. The keywords used in the search were 'upper extremity' and 'motor activity', 'activities of daily living' and 'assessment', 'instrument', 'disability evaluations'. In total of 68 papers, 44 assessment instruments was extracted. We analyzed about numbers, subjects, methods, reliability, validity, responsiveness of assessment instruments about bilateral upper limb function comparing unilateral, combined bilateral and unilateral instruments. Results : The numbers of bilateral measurement tool were 2 in a total of upper extremity measurement tools. Also, subjects were patients with stroke and measurement was based on performance. The reliability, validity and responsiveness of tools were high. Conclusions : Futher study will be needed to development and research about instrument of bilateral upper extremity.

Objective : This study was to verify the effects of occupation-based training with errorless learning and spaced retrieval on task learning and satisfaction of elderly with mild vascular dementia. Methods : The subjects of this study were 3 geriatric individuals with mild vascular dementia, ABA' + follow-up design was used. Intervention period was provided occupation-based training with errorless learning and spaced retrieval. The dependent variable was converted to ability of task performance every session and satisfaction before and after intervention. Result analysis was suggested through visual analysis and bar graph. Results : After the occupation-based training with errorless learning and spaced retrieval, Ability of task performance and satisfaction improved for all subjects. Conclusions : From this study, occupation-based training with errorless learning and spaced retrieval training was found to be an effective mediation for improving independence of task and satisfaction for people with mild dementia. This study could provide evidence for clinical application for occupation-based training.
Objective : This study was conducted to determine various interventions in accordance with the recovery and cognitive processes in order to improve executive function in stroke patients through a systematic review. Methods : The literature search focused on Level I-IV studies published between January 1996 and April 2015 for 20 years in electronic databases(e.g. MEDLINE, SCOPUS, RISS). The keyword search terms were 'Stroke', 'Executive function', 'Executive function deficit', 'Occupational therapy', 'Rehabilitation', 'Remedial', 'Compensatory' and 'Education'. Result : A total of 13 articles were appraised using the hierarchy of levels of evidence-based practice and 6 Level I evidence articles, 1 Level II articles, 2 Level III articles and 4 Level IV articles. Each intervention improved executive function but was different in degree of generalization. Conclusion : Through this systematic review, we found that there are a variety of applied interventions improving executive function in stroke patients and are different in effect depending on methods of interventions. This study provided evidences to occupational therapists for the clinical practice of interventions to improve executive function in stroke patients.
