Design of Built-In Self Test Circuit (내장 자가 검사 회로의 설계)

  • In this paper, we designed a Circular Path Built-In Self Test circuit and embedded it into a simple 8-bit microprocessor. Register cells of the microprocessor have been modified into Circular Path register cells and each register cells have been connected to form a scan chain. A BIST controller has been designed for controlling BIST operations and its operation has been verified through simulation. The BIST circuit described in this paper has increased size overhead of the microprocessor by 29.8% and delay time in the longest delay path from clock input to output by 2.9㎱.

  • In this research, we port the RT-Linux to MVME 5100 board which is driven by VxWorks or Vertex until now. And, we developed the data logging modules by using the RT-Linux. This module gathers two different scan timing data from plant and sends this data to the host controller with real time.

  • The Binary Decision method can evaluate any switching function in the number of steps not exceeding the number of input variables. A Binary Decision Programmable Controller module is designed using this method so as to improve scan speed. A compiler system is also developed to relieve the memory problem which the Binary Decision method entails. A communication channel between MDS and BD-PC modules is also constructed to load the compiled BD-PC object program into the memory of BD machine.

  • A programmable controller (PC) which can control general sequential process is developed. The Z-8OA microprocessor-based PC includes hardwares such as programming device, input/output modules, timer/counter modules, and power-failure recovery module which for soft-ware, initialization program, monitor program, execution program, and power-failure recovery program are developed. In particular, the PC is designed in such a way that a timer can be used several times in different time intervals and a skip capability is incorporated in the user program to reduce scan time.

  • The use of electron-beam(E-Beam) manufacture systems provides a means to alleviate optic exposure equipment's problems. We designed an E-beam manufacture system with SEM function. Optimal beam scanning is one of the most important conditions in the performance of E-beam and SEM. The performance of E-beam manufacture system and images of SEM are a close affinity with each other. Developed E-beam manufacture system consist of the controllers of high voltage, scanning, optic and high voltage generator. In this paper, we analyze the condition of steady beam scanning and describe the development of controller fer optimal beam scanning.

  • In this paper, a real-time implementation of the TWS(track-while-scan) system using the high-speed DSP (digital signal processor) TMS320C25 is described. First, attempts have been made to investigate the FWL (finite word length) effect, which is caused by employing a fixed point arithmetic, of implementing the Kalman filter. The real-time TWS system consists of TWS arithmetic unit, scan converter, and system controller. In addition, the TWS system is in tegrated in the Multi-Bus. In experiment, it is observed that by employing the floating point arithmetic the computation time of 0.35sec is required for tracking 8 targets simultaneously, while 0.28sec is required for the fixed point arithmetic. Since the TWS system is designed to track up to 8 targets simultaneously, we conclude that the system is enough to process Kalman filter in a real-time.

  • In fuzzy inferencing, most of conventional fuzzy controllers have problems of speed down in floating point operations of fuzzy membership functions in (0,1) as compared with integer operations. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a high-speed fuzzy controller with only integer operations. In this, for fast fuzzy computations, we use a scan line conversion algorithm to convert lines of each fuzzy linguistic term to the set of the closest integer pixels. We also implement a GUI (Graphic User Interface) application program for the convenient environments to modify and input fuzzy membership functions.

  • In this paper, full color billboards for the efficient expression of the resolution to offer dual-scanning control method, using the LED display it on a fixed pixel video signal to the pixel dot pattern was changed. And DICT(Dynamic Image Correction Technology) using the main controller in accordance with video information, histogram equalization of image gray scale values to be uniformly distributed, and dynamically improves image quality by converting the area, and a dual auto-scan input video switching controller board as the pixels in the LED Module by controlling the physical manifestation of the existing board LED pixel dots than 4 times the resolution proposes a technique that can be expressed and made it through testing verified the performance.

  • Mobile robots include control modules for autonomous obstacle avoidance and navigation. They are range modules to detect and avoid obstacles. motor control modules to operate two wheels. and encoder modules for localization. There is needed an appropriate controller for each modules. In this paper. a control system. including 18 channels for Sonar sensors. 4 channels for PWM modules. and 4 channels for encoder modules. is proposed using TMS320C32 DSP adopted with CAN. The board communicates with other modules by CAN. so that mobile robots can perform several tasks in real time. So we can realize on autonomous mobile robot with basic functions such as obstacle avoidance by using the developed controller. Especially. this controller has 100 msec scan time for 16 sonar sensors and can detect closer objects comparing with standard sonar sensors.

  • In this paper, we develop a PC adapter board and application software that do not use mouse or keyboard but the infrared communication, which can control the operation remotely. The infrared communication adapter is made up of the infrared receiver part and the serial communication interface part. The infrared receiver part creates a suitable scan-code using the received signal from the infrared transmitter (remote-controller). The serial communication interface part transmits the scan-code to PC by a serial communication. We implement its application softwares to listen to music and see movies. We can control their operations such as play, stop, pause and volume control remotely.
