한국산 의복에 대한 지각과 구매 욕구에 관한 의복 태도와 의복비 지출의 영향 - 중국연변조선족여대생을 중심으로 - (Effect of Clothing Attitude and Average Monthly Expense on the Perception and Buying Desire on Clothing Made in Korea - Korean-Chinese Female College in Yanbian, China -)

  • This study was conducted by surveying 300 female college students in Yanbian University and 248 surveys were considered for final analysis. Each question was rated according to 5 point scale in which 1 means 'not at all' and 5 means 'definitely'. The data of this study was statistically analyzed by SAS PC program, the factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA and Duncan-test and t-test. The results are summarized as follows; The clothing attitude of the college students is classified into four factors: fashionable, brand-oriented, aesthetic and modest. The behavior pattern was categorized into four groups: conservative modest group, aesthetic modest group, fashionable aesthetic group and brand oriented group. The perception and buying desire of the fashionable aesthetic group and the brand oriented group on clothing made in Korea were higher than those of the other two groups. As the perception and buying desire on clothing made in Korea depended on the average monthly expense for clothing, the group with high expense for clothing showed higher means compared to the low expense group for clothing.

Factors Influencing the Perception of the Selling Price of Luxury Apartments

  • The study aims to identify and measure factors affecting the perception of the selling price of luxury apartments in Hanoi. We conducted a questionnaire consisting of 29 observation variables with a 5-point Likert scale. Independent variables were measured from 1 "without effect" to 5 "strongly". Based on the desk review and results of interviews, a total of 500 questionnaires were sent to research participants for collection; 458 of them met standard and were subject to be analyzed. This study employs Cronbach's Alpha test, and regression model. The results of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA) identify five main determinants influencing the perception of the selling price of luxury apartments in Hanoi, including Physical characteristics of a luxury apartment (PC); Location and position of an apartment (LP); Surrounding Area (SA); Quality of service provided by managers; (QS) and Demographics factor (DF). Based on the findings, some recommendations have been proposed to help the firm leaders design appropriate personnel policies for creating better price satisfaction for customers in the future. On this basis, the authors propose a number of recommendations to improve the quality of luxury apartments, thereby contributing to the development of the market for luxury apartments in Hanoi.

Consumer Behavior and Perception of Ginseng Products by Different Age Groups

  • This study investigated the perception, consumer pattern and satisfaction of the ginseng products of 600 people in the Seoul area surveyed from Feb. 1 to 28, 2011. The perception and satisfaction tests were performed using a 5-point scale (1=disagree (dissatisfy) very much, 5=agree (satisfy) very much. People perceived ginseng to have refreshment (3.86), immuno-modulation (3.78), anticancer (3.51), and antiaging (3.41) properties. People in their 20s (4.02) scored high on refreshment compared to people in their 60s and over (3.73). Most people (79.8%) consume ginseng products and prefer red ginseng (74.3%). More people in their 40s (54.1%) and 50s (48.2%) consume ginseng products for refreshment than people in their 20s (38.7%), 30s (41.5%) or 60s and over (40.0%). However, more people in their 50s (36.1%) and 60s and over (43.6%) consume ginseng products for disease prevention than people in their 20s (8.6%). Most people (66.4%) take ginseng all year round. People in their 20s (2.70) showed a smaller satisfaction score of the taste of ginseng products than those in their 30s (3.21), 40s (3.23), 50s (3.26) and 60s and over (3.38).

소규모 사무실의 조명 색 변화에 따른 시각적 감지 및 무드 변화 분석 (Analysis on Visual Perception and Mood for Color of Light in a Small Office)

  • This study examines the influences of correlated color temperature and illuminance on visual perception and temporary mood sensation in a small office. Field measurements and surveys were conducted in a full-scale mock-up model. Twenty subjects participated in the survey under six lighting conditions formed by three color temperature and two illuminance levels. Results indicate that 4000 K color temperature was effective to mitigate glare sensation from light source. Lamps with low color temperature such as 2700 K was not recommended for office lighting since they are likely to caused glare and visual discomfort. Preferred color temperature was 4000 K and 6500 K for 750 lx and 500 lx target illuminance respectively. The increase of illuminance was not an effective contributor to improve mood perception. The illuminance should be lower than 500 lx to achieve good mood, but the illuminance level in office space should be considered with visual performance simultaneously. This study suggests that fluorescent lighting fixtures with 4000 K lamps would be usefully used for office lighting since they formed friendly conditions for better visual performance.

한국 청소년의 체중인식과 체중조절행동에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Korean Adolescents' Body Weight Perceptions and Weight Change Efforts)

  • Purpose: This research was performed to investigate Korean adolescents' body weight perception, appropriate weight change efforts, and factors that influencing these efforts. Methods: The data were obtained from 68,136 adolescents, aged 12~18 years from the 2007 Third Korean Youth' Risk Behavior Web-based Survey. Descriptive statistical analysis and odds ratio were calculated by logistic regression. Results: The distribution of the body mass index differed in boys and girls. The accuracy of body weight perception was shown in the order of the underweight (91.6%), overweigh t (73.3%), normal weight (55.4%), obesity (41.3%) groups. Adolescents with high perceived economic status tended to have a high prevalence of accuracy of body weight perception. The distribution of appropriate weight change efforts according to the actual body mass index showed that girls were trying to lose weight more than boys. The results of a logistic regression analysis regarding appropriate weight change efforts showed differences according to gender, perceived economic status, mother's educational level, and family affluence scale. Conclusion: Appropriate body weight perception and change management plans are needed for Korean adolescents. In addition, active weight change programs have to be established in the adolescents' living environments, such as schools.

비지에 대한 인식 및 이용실태에 관한 연구 (A Survey on Perception and Usage of Bizi(Soybean Curd Residue))

  • This study was conducted to investigate the perception and usage of Bizi through a survey. The subjects of this study consisted of 49.5% males and 50.5% females in the Daegu area. The main results are as follows : about 85% of the participants preferred Bizi owing to good taste but others didn't like it owing to bad taste. The older generation have liked and eaten it rather than the young. Responses to the 13 questions about Bizi were measured on a 5 point Kikert scale. The item 'Bizi is traditional food' was received the highest point but 'Bizi is delicious' earned the lowest. Furthermore, there were certain significant differences according to the age of the consumer. Dishes using Bizi as the main ingredient were listed according to perception as follows: Bizi-Chigae, Bizi-Bindaeduck, Bizi-Jun, and so on. About one half of the subjects knew how to make Bizi and 40.4% of them inherited the recipes from their mothers. Prospects for Bizi consumption showed differences according to the type of generation. About 50.0% said the plan should be 'suggested cooking methods' and 'made of good quality domestic soybean' for the purpose of better improvement and extention of consumption.

일부지역 노인들의 자가 구강상태 인지에 따른 구강보건교육 요구도 조사 (A study on the oral health education needs according to self perception of the oral condition of senior citizens in some areas)

  • Objectives : The purpose of the present study was to obtain the data for oral health improvement and promotion programs for the elderly people. Methods : Subjects were 382 elderly people over 65 years old living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do for more than 3 months from May to July 2012. Except 23 incomplete answers, 359 data were analyzed. Results : 1. By five point Likert scale, mean was 3.71 points. Self-perception of the oral health condition was 2.60 points. 2. Correlation analysis revealed that oral health education needs, self perception of the oral condition, and variables showed significantly weak negative relation(r=-0.215, p<0.001). Conclusions : It is necessary to develop continuing oral health education programs at the levels of elderly people in the nursing homes.

Types of Subjective Perceptions of Suicide among Young People in Their 20s and 30s

  • Purpose: This study aims to categorize the subjective perception of suicide of young social workers in their 20s and 30s, and to explore the factors constituting each type, and used the Q methodology. Research design, Research method: As a research method, the Q population was derived through in-depth interviews and literature research, and the final 23 Q statements were confirmed. Next, 30 social workers in their 20s and 30s were classified by normal distribution on a 7-point scale as a P sample. The collected data were analyzed using the QUANL-PC program. Result: As a result of the analysis, four types were extracted, and there were no affirmative statements commonly cited in all types, and the opposite statement is 'if someone wants to commit suicide, it is the person's job and should not interfere'. Types 4 named suicide as 'unacceptable social problem', 'signal of a request for help, relief of severe pain, and 'impulsive mistake', respectively. Conclusion: Based on this result, the elements constituting the perception of each type were analyzed, and the need for access strategies for each type of suicide prevention education and campaign, and follow-up research were suggested.

남성노인의 성생활인식도와 우울과의 관계연구 (A Correlational Study on Perceived Sex life and Depression in Old Men)

  • Purpose: Sexuality is important for the quality of life in old men, but this issue has been less explored due to social prejudice. Therefore, this study was carried out to describe a correlation between sex life and depression perceived by old men. Method: The subjects were 370 old men who were aged over 60 and lived in a city and three provinces. Instruments used in this study were Perception of Sex life Scale 01 items) and Depression Scale (20 items). The data was collected from December 2001 to February 2002 by written responses of the subjects to the questionnaire as well as one-to-one interview by research assistants for subjects. Statistical analysis for the data was done using SPSS and the level of significance was tested at 95% of confidence interval. Result: 1) Mean age of the subjects was $69.35{\pm}5.70$. A total of 253 subjects (68.6%) had spouse, and 191 of the subjects (52.3%) had sexual intercourse as frequently as 3 times per month. The average score for perception of sex life was $21.25{\pm}5.06$, out of the total score of 44, and that of depression was $35.08{\pm}9.29$ out of the total score of 80. 2) Perception of sex life was statistically significant by age, education, disease, medication, living arrangement, marital status, presence of girlfriend, pattern of inter-coitus, pocket money age of last coitus, subjective health state, and relationship (P<0.05). 3) Depression was statistically significant by age, education, disease. medication, living arrangement, marital status, satisfaction for marriage life, pattern of inter-coitus, feeling for change of sex life, pocket money, subjective health state, and relationship (P<0.05). 4) The correlation between perception of sex life and depression was negative, showing that depression tended to decrease as perception of sex life increases. Conclusion: It is concluded that depression in old men is closely related to their sex life. Positive sex life may have an important effect on the quality of life in old men.

간호대학생의 호스피스 인식에 대한 조사 연구 (A Study about Hospice Perception of Nursing University Student)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학에 재학 중인 간호대학생의 일반적 특성 호스피스 인식의 교과과정, 인식 정도, 실습 경험, 경로, 시기, 의미, 필요성, 대상, 제공, 유형, 기관, 경험, 호스피스 이용과 호스피스 서비스 내용의 신체적, 정서적, 사회적, 영적 측면을 파악하여 호스피스 확대와 발전에 도움이 되고자 하며 호스피스 완화의료에 기초자료를 제시하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구에 사용된 도구는 세 부분으로 구성하였고 일반적 특성 6문항과 호스피스 인식 24문항의 명목척도와 호스피스 서비스 내용을 측정하는데 사용된 설문지로 총 24개 문항으로 이루어진 3-point Likert식 척도이며 각 문항에 대해 응답자는 신체적, 정서적, 사회적, 영적 측면에 대해 필요하다(1), 그저 그렇다(2), 필요하지 않다(3)등으로 응답할 수 있다. 본 도구의 점수 범위는 최저 24점에서 최고 72점으로 점수가 높을수록 호스피스 인식이 높음을 의미한다. 호스피스는 임종을 앞둔 말기 환자와 그 가족을 사랑으로 돌보는 행위로 환자가 남은 여생동안 인간의 존엄성과 높은 삶의 질을 유지하면서 삶의 마지막 순간을 평안하게 맞이하도록 신체적, 정서적, 사회적, 영적으로 돌봐야 하며, 사별 가족의 고통과 슬픔을 경감시키기 위한 총체적인 돌봄이라고 할 수 있다.
