  • Data dependencies are one of major hurdles to limit ILP(Instruction Level Parallelism), so several related works have suggested that the limit imposed by data dependencies can be overcome to some extent with use of the data value prediction. Hybrid value predictor can obtain the high prediction accuracy using advantages of various predictors, but it has a defect that same instruction has overlapping entries in all predictor. In this paper, we propose a new hybrid value predictor which achieves high performance by using the information of static and dynamic classification. The proposed predictor can enhance the prediction accuracy and efficiently decrease the prediction table size of predictor, because it allocates each instruction into single best-suited predictor during the fetch stage by using the information of static classification. Also, it can enhance the prediction accuracy because it selects a best- suited prediction method for the “Unknown”pattern instructions by using the dynamic classification mechanism. Simulation results based on the SimpleScalar/PISA tool set and the SPECint95 benchmarks show the average correct prediction rate of 85.1% by using the static classification mechanism. Also, we achieve the average correction prediction rate of 87.6% by using static and dynamic classification mechanism.

  • Electronic Navigational Charts(ENCs) are official nautical charts which are equivalent to paper charts with supplementary information. Although their main purpose is to be used for the safe navigation of ships, they also contain much information on coasts and seas which may be interesting to ordinary people. However, there is no easy way to access them because of their specialized data format, access method and visualization. This paper proposes m implementation of SVG for the access and services of ENCs. SVG(Scalable Vector Graphic) makes it possible to make use of Vector graphics for map services in basic internet browsing environment. Implementation of SVG for ENC applications by this research is free of special server side GIS mapping system and client side extra technology. The Implementation of SVG for ENC Applications can be summarized as follows: Firstly, SVG provides spatial information to possess searching engine to embody SVG map. Secondly SVG can provide high-quality vector map graphics and interactive facility without special Internet GIS system. It makes it possible to use services with very low cost. Thirdly, SVG information service targeting on maritime transportation can be used as template, so it can be used dynamically any other purpose such as traffic management and vessel monitoring. Many good characteristics of SVG in mapping at computer screen and reusability of SVG document provide new era of visualization of marine geographic information.

  • The aim of this paper was to develop a scale for measuring gender identity among sports participants (114 male, 193 female). Gender similarities and latent mean analysis was used to validate the gender identity measurement method. Data processing was carried out by way of frequency analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, reliability, correlation, normal distribution of questions, and latent mean analysis using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The results of this study were as follows: First, the equivalence had revealed the configurable, metric, and scalar invariance of the scale that can be used in multi-groups in the same way. Second, women had a more open inclination than men when it came to participating in sports activities (p<.001). Third, women participating in sports activities tended to be more conservative than men (p<.001). Fourth, women who participated in sports activities showed a higher subjective tendency than men (p<.001). Fifth, there was no statistical difference in the outward tendency when participating in sports activities (p<.05). The results of this study suggest that gender identity among sports participants is not influenced by the changing times and the advancement of women in society.
