간호대학생의 강점인식과 학업적 자기효능감이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Perception of Strength and Academic Self-Efficacy on Major Satisfaction of Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 강점인식, 학업적 자기효능감, 전공만족도의 관계를 확인하고, 전공만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 연구이다. 연구 대상자는 G 지역 소재 간호대학생 172명으로 자료수집은 2022년 11월 7일에서 12월 21일까지 진행되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 28.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관계수, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 전공만족도는 강점인식(r=.31, p<.001), 학업적 자기효능감(r=.62, p<.001)과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 간호대학생의 전공만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학업적 자기효능감(𝛽=.53, p<.001), 전공 선택 동기에서 타인의 권유(𝛽=-.20, p=.002) 순으로 나타났으며, 이들 요인은 전공만족도를 42.6% 설명하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 간호대학생의 전공만족도를 증진시키는 전략을 개발하는데 유용하게 활용될 것이다. 향후 대상자를 확대하여 간호대학생의 전공만족도를 설명할 수 있는 후속 연구를 제언한다.

간호대학생의 임상실습만족도, 간호사 이미지 및 자아존중감이 진로정체감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Clinical Practice Satisfaction, Nursing Image and Self-Esteem on Vocational Identity of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study is a descriptive study to investigate the effect of clinical practice satisfaction, nursing image and self-esteem on vocational identity of nursing students. Method: The subjects of this study were 200 nursing students majoring nursing science in D college, D city and seniors who took the clinical practice course. The date was analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson' correlation coefficients, stepwise and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. program. Results: There was a statistically strong positive correlation between nursing image and self-esteem(r=.242, p=.001), vocational identity(r=.196, p=.009), clinical practice satisfaction(r=.542, p<.001). The factors influencing vocational identity were self-esteem(t=7.193, p<.001), aptitude and nursing belief of motivation for choosing nursing(t=5.472, p<.001), grade(t=-3.249, p=.001), professions of motivation for choosing nursing(t=2.694, p=.008), Satisfaction with nursing as a major(t=2.295, p=.023). The explanatory power of these models was 38.2%. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, to improve the vocational identity of nursing students in college, it is needed to develop nursing education program that strengthen self-esteem, aptitude and nursing belief, professions, satisfaction with nursing as major. Also it is needed a study on verifying application effects.

간호대학생의 전공 만족도가 전공 몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Nursing College Students' Satisfaction with their Major on their Engagement in the Major)

  • 본 연구는 간호학 전공 학생을 대상으로 전공에 대한 만족이 전공 몰입에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해 부산·경북지역 소재 각각 1개 대학교 간호학과 학생 127명의 설문조사를 SPSS 22.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 전공 만족도 3.91점, 전공 몰입 3.69점으로 5점 리커트 척도에서 중간값 보다 높았다. 둘째, 학교생활에 만족하고, 건강 상태가 양호하며, 진학 동기가 본인의 의사일 때 전공 만족도와 전공 몰입의 정도가 높았다. 셋째, 전공 몰입의 영향요인으로는 학교생활 만족도의 만족, 진학 동기의 본인 의사, 평균성적의 상위권 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 예측되었으며 26.0%를 설명하였다. 전공 만족도 하위변인을 추가로 투입하여 분석한 결과에서는 일반만족과 교과·관계 만족이 영향을 미치는 것으로 예측되었으며 이에 대하여 65.4% 설명하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생들의 전공 만족도와 전공 몰입 향상을 위한 논의를 하였다.

간호학생이 지각한 가족지지와 임상실습만족도와의 관계 (A Study on the Relationship between Perceived Family Support and Satisfaction of Clinical Practice by Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the relationship between the degree of family support and the degree of satisfaction in clinical practice by nursing students. Method: This study was designed to measure the level of satisfaction according to the content, guidance, circumstance, hours, and the evaluation of clinical practice. Four hundred sixty-five nursing students from 4 nursing colleges, and 1 baccalaureate program in G area were randomly sampled. An instrument consisting of 64 questions, developed by the researcher and a nursing professor, was used to gather data from March 10 through 31, 2008. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation, using the SPSS 14.0 program. Result: The results were summarized as follows : Family support of nursing students showed a significant difference by religion (t=2.104, p=0.036) and satisfaction of major (F=8.010, p<0.001). The satisfaction degree of clinical practice by nursing students showed a significant difference by university or college (t=2.636, p=0.012), residence type (t=2.098, p=0.036), and satisfaction of major (F=5.779, p=0.003). The relationship between generally perceived family support correlated with the degree of satisfaction in clinical practice of nursing students (r=.199, p<0.001). Conclusion: It was found that a higher degree of satisfaction in clinical practice depends on a higher degree of family support. Therefore, nursing faculty should plan interventions to inspire satisfaction level of clinical practice by family support.

간호대학생의 대인관계, 임상실습 스트레스 및 임상실습 만족도 간의 관계 (Relation of interpersonal relationship, clinical stress and satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 대인관계, 임상실습 스트레스 및 임상실습 만족도를 파악하고, 제 변수의 상관관계를 조사하기 위해 시도되었다. 본 연구는 대구 경북 지역 3개 대학교 간호학과에 재학 중인 3,4학년생 261명을 대상으로 2015년 9월 7일~18까지 설문조사하였고, 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, Stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 대인관계는 평균 $3.74{\pm}0.39$점, 임상실습 스트레스는 $3.21{\pm}0.54$점, 임상실습 만족도는 $3.44{\pm}0.45$점이었다. 대인관계는 연령(F=3.12, p=.046), 간호학 전공만족도(F=15.84, p<.001), 대인관계 중요성(F=4.76, p=.001), 학업성적(F=3.80, p=.011)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 임상실습 스트레스는 연령(F=8.05, p<.001), 간호학 지원동기(F=4.55, p=.001), 간호학 전공만족도(F=2.69, p=.046)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 임상실습 만족도는 간호학 전공만족도(F=3.24, p=.022), 대인관계 중요성(F=3.01, p=.019), 학업성적(F=5.24, p=.002)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 대인관계와 임상실습 만족도(r=.24, p<.001)는 유의한 순 상관관계가 있었으며, 임상실습 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요소는 대인관계(${\beta}=.21$, p<.001), 학업성적(${\beta}=.12$, p=.045)이었다. 결론적으로 간호대학생의 임상실습 만족도를 높이기 위해서 간호대학생의 대인관계능력을 향상시키기 위한 중재 방안이 필요하다.

대학생의 취업 스트레스와 우울의 관계에서 전공만족도의 매개효과: 인문사회계열과 자연공학계열 비교를 중심으로 (Major Satisfaction as a Mediator of between Job-seeking Stress and Depression in University Students: Comparing in Social Sciences and Humanities with in Natural Sciences and Engineering)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediator effect of major satisfaction in relation to depression and job-seeking stress of university students according to the majors. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted in three universities randomly chosen from 47 universities in Seoul, Korea. Participants were 241 undergraduate students who were eligible and agreed to participate in the study. Data were collected from October 27 to November 10, 2014. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, $x^2$ test, Fisher's exact test, t-test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson correlation coefficients, simple and multiple regression techniques with the PASW/WIN 20.0 program. Results: There were significant negative, negative, and positive correlations between job-seeking stress and major satisfaction, major satisfaction and depression, and job-seeking stress and depression regardless of major field, respectively. Moreover, in the major group in natural science and engineering, the link between job-seeking stress and depression was partially mediated by major satisfaction. Conclusion: The findings of this study contribute to providing basic data for the development of job-seeking stress and depression intervention programs and future study for university students.

Analysis of Factors Affecting Major Satisfaction

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze general characteristics and empathy factors of nursing student's major satisfaction. Participants in this study were 235 students from both located in J do and C do Universities. The research method was a cross-sectional survey and the survey period was from September 1 to 10, 2017. The questionnaire was used to investigate general characteristics, empathy, and major satisfaction. The analysis was based on frequency analysis, p value of t or F value, Pearson correlation, regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. The result of this study were as follows: (1) The C University showed higher satisfaction than J University(3.44), (2) the factors affecting major satisfaction were school location, grade, religion, cognitive empathy, and emotional empathy correlated, Regression analysis was used to examine factors that correlated with major satisfaction, followed by hierarchical regression analysis to identify the most influential factors. (3) The result of the analysis showed that the greatest influence factors on major satisfaction were the University location(${\beta}=.325$, p<.01), the cognitive empathy (${\beta}=.287$, p<.01), and the next order was negative grade(${\beta}=-.230$, p<.01). Based on the results of this stud, the following conclusions can be drawn. The most influential factor in the major satisfaction was the school location, but this was an irreversible factor. Therefore, if the cognitive empathy factor and grades are corrected, it can be said that it can increase the satisfaction of major in nursing University students. In this study, it was emphasized that cognitive empathy contained in the course of nursing education program and suggested guidance on major satisfaction in lower grades.

Factors influencing stigma among college students with COVID-19 in South Korea: a descriptive study

  • Purpose: This study is descriptive research aiming to identify factors influencing the stigma experienced by college students with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), focusing on COVID-19 pandemic stress, depression, and fear of negative evaluation as the main variables. Methods: An online survey was administered to 175 college students who had been diagnosed with COVID-19 from January to May 2022 and were enrolled in universities in Seoul, Cheongju, and Daegu, South Korea. The survey collected data on pandemic stress, depression, fear of negative evaluation, and stigma. The data were analyzed using the t-test, ANOVA, the Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression in SPSS/WIN 26.0. Results: We analyzed differences in stigma scores based on general characteristics of the college students and found significant differences in stigma scores by age, major satisfaction, interpersonal satisfaction, date of COVID-19 confirmation, treatment modality, and recent subjective health condition. Factors influencing stigmatization were identified as COVID-19 pandemic stress, depression, date of COVID-19 confirmation, treatment modality, recent subjective health condition, and major satisfaction, with an overall explanatory power of 37.6%. Conclusion: This study is significant as it identifies emotional changes across various aspects of pandemic stress, depression, fear of negative evaluation, and stigma among college students who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. The findings of this study suggest the development of programs to reduce psychological distress and enhance mental health management skills among these students.

간호대학생의 전공만족도와 교수-학생 상호작용이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Nursing Students' Major Satisfaction and Professor-Student Interaction on their Adjustment to University Life)

  • 본 연구는 간호학과 학생들의 전공만족도와 교수-학생 상호작용이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구의 자료 수집 기간은 2017년 7월 22일부터 8월 15일까지 실시하였으며, 본 연구를 위한 자료수집은 B광역시, U광역시, G시 소재 8개 대학의 간호학과 1, 2학년 학생 중 연구목적을 이해하고 자발적으로 연구 참여에 동의한 학생 중 부적절한 응답을 제외한 205명의 설문지를 분석하였다. 연구결과로 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 대학생활적응 정도는 학년, 건강상태, 대인관계. 희망진로, 학교성적, 가정생활정도에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었고, 전공만족도가 높고, 교수-학생 상호작용이 높을수록 대학생활적응이 높음을 알 수 있었다. 회귀분석 결과 전공만족도가 대학생활적응에 가장 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 저학년들이 간호대학생으로의 전공에 대한 만족을 향상시킬 수 있는 교과내외의 프로그램을 지속적으로 적용하고, 입학시부터 지도교수나 교과담당교수진과의 다양한 의사소통이나 상담의 기회를 제공하도록 하여야 할 것이다.

임상실습을 경험한 간호대학생의 핵심기본간호술 수행 자신감과 전공 만족도 (Confidence and Major Satisfaction in Performing Core Basic Nursing Skills of Nursing Students Who Have Experienced Clinical Practice)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 핵심기본간호술 수행 자신감과 전곰만족도의 관계를 확인하기 위해 진행된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상 및 자료수집은 2023년 3월 26일부터 4월 9일까지 간호 대학생 63명을 대상으로 선정하였고, 통계 분석은 SPSS 27.0 버전을 사용하여 t-test 와 ANOVA, 상관관계분석을 시행하였다. 연구 결과, 임상실습 시 간호대학생은 핵심기본간호술을 수행하기 보다는(38.03%) 관찰을(56.85%) 주로 하고 있었고 핵심기본간호술 수행 자신감 평균점수 보다 높은 핵심기본간호술 항목은 50%이었다. 간호학에 대해 만족하다고 응답한 대상자가 핵심 기본간호술 수행 자신감과 전공 만족도가 높게 나타났고 두 변수는 높은 양의 상관관관계를(r=0.55, p<0.001) 나타냈다.
