The concept of the satellite formation flight is area where it is actively study with expandability and safety compare to existing satellite. For execution of duty with more safety issue, it needs to consider hot topic of space debris for operation of formation flight. In this paper, it suggests heuristic algorithm to have avoidance maneuver for space debris towards operating flight formation. Indeed it covers, using common software, operating simulation to nearest space environment and not only to have goal of avoidance but also minimizing the usage of fuel and finding optimization for maximizing cycle of formation flight. For improvement on convergence speed of existing heuristic algorithm, it substitute to hybrid heuristic algorithm, PSOGSA, and the result of simulation, it represents the satisfaction of minimum range for successful avoidance maneuver and compare to not using avoidance maneuver, it keeps more than three times of formation maintenance performance. From these, it is meaningful results of showing several success goals like simple avoidance collision and fuel usage and decreasing number of times of maintaining formation maneuver.
Today, term of ‘industrial society’means the totally changing society by new technical innovation through the Industrial Revolution begun in England at the mid-nineteenth century and it made social structure centering agricultural culture change with industrial culture with expansion of goods by the massive production. Information working area has to bo a space not just for improving business efficiency in industrial society but for developing efficiency in working in harmony with the information and structural aspects based on computer and communication technology. There are two kinds of environmental elements of working space : the tangible ones are the area and the structure of working space, lights, network, layout and information machines in office, the intangible ones are a feeling of satisfaction of management and arrangement of office information machines capability of information delivery, common ownership of documents and their files, the security and connection between office workers, and harmony. According to the wave of information begun from the late twentieth century, structural layout of working area has become various by the working type through network of new developed information communication machines. But it is hard to apply them in actually.
Resident participation plays much of a rule to the cohousing, which is organized independently and has the characteristics of community life, especially in the initial state of cohousing process. However, it is hard to realize the resident participation in proper order due to lack of a personal time, individual effort and an insufficient knowledge related with cohousing. So, it is thought that the guidance of cohousing expert and coordinator is needed to enable the residents to perform in an active attitude. The development of educational program and workshop connected with resident participation is also accompanied. In this study, to make the positive and systematic participation of cohousing residents, we established the workshop program and performed workshop with our developed program, based on preceding researches and examples. We selected the object of workshop as five housewives in thirties and forties. Workshop was consisted of six process steps. (1) Introduction and question of workshop and cohousing (2) examining and arranging the opinion (3) Master plan of cohousing village (4) Planning of common living space (5) Planning of individual living space (6) Analysis of final results and evaluation of workshop. The workshop held six times and it took about five~six hours per each meeting. Workshop participants expressed their opinion actively and attended in a positive manner in order to the design of their desired village and cohousing. During workshop process, the players established the common target of their village by means of life card, target card game. Also, based on the common target, the layout of village was planned using a collage game and card arrangement game. By workshop activity, the members started to recognize the significance of participation on the drawing board and improve their technique of communication and decision-making. Furthermore, workshop process made it possible to approach the concrete forms of their cohousing village. Especially, in the closing phase, the participant satisfaction about workshop and cohousing is increased suddenly and expressed their intention to join the real workshop related with cohousing.
The purpose of the study was to identify the level of housing choice behavior by using the factors of residential satisfaction level, mobility motivation, and housing needs of potential purchasers in Bukgu New Housing Area, Ulsan. The survey used questionnaire from 326 households living in Bukgu and nearby area and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research results showed low degree of residential satisfaction in storage space and neighborhood. The mobility motivations were improvement of physical environment improvement, education environment, walking road, view and lighting. The housing needs for indoor spaces showed to want more functional arrangement than the room size. The housing needs for outdoor spaces showed to want neighborhood environment in connection with the education or hospital facilities, the welfare facilities for pre-kindergarten children and elders and the leisure facilities. And the housing needs for facilities were floor furnishing for health, crime prevention system for safety needs, housekeeping appliance against environmental pollution, additional function for energy saving. The housing needs for common spaces showed that the residents preferred playing facilities by age group, exercise facilities, the community hall and the rest room which can do games or meetings.
Public rental housing in Korea has been initially provided for residential stability of low-income household focusing on solving quantitative insufficiency since 1980s. In the process of early stage of designing and planning public rental housing, qualitative aspects of considering children were not primary concern. This study aims to analyze the priority of environmental improvement of outdoor spaces for children's safety in public rental housing. First, literature review was performed in the reference of local residential safety guidelines, Universal Design, and CPTED guidelines. In each guidelines, common safety planning factors for children were extracted within different types of outdoor spaces. Second, based on literature analysis, residents evaluated importance and satisfaction level by different safety types, outdoor space type, and environmental planning factors. In results, residents evaluated high importance and showed low satisfaction for crime and traffic safety. Through IPA, facilities and parking space was evaluated where improvement is needed for the first priority, and planning factors were mostly concerned with surveillance and safety management system. Result shows general concern of public rental housing residents, about weak facility management and security system, and about socially isolated environment which heightened the fear of crime safety. Overall, poor maintenance of the complex environment and decrepit facilities are constantly raising risk of safety accidents especially for children. Considering residents' concern, environmental improvement should be considered in perspective of not only physical repair, but also facility management and security system.

Dwellers wanted to remodeling such as bathroom, restroom, a flower garden, space of landscape architecture. After the rapid growth of economics in South Korea 1960'1, the number of workers in the whole land in-creased day after day along with the growth of industry. As the growth of the third industry occurred quite rapid-ly, the rate of office workers went up high. Accordingly the business office has been changed the primary work-ing space and recognized the main space as much as the living space. As a result of conceptual change about working place, the business office has an important ef-fect on worker's liberal and psychological environment. In order to provide the office workers with the office work-ers with the suitable and convenient working environ-ment, Socio-psychological factors were first considered at the first stage of construction planning. In this paper, I would understand both how office workers take up their attitudes of Socio-psychological point according to the office type and what they claim for their office environment. This understanding offers us fundamental data in office plan. This paper starting from this purpose got the following conclusions. *Office workers are violated their hearing privacies rather than their visual privacies. They are dissatisfied with ensuring their own spaces and satisfied with their nature of domain. *In the feeling of satisfaction by office type, they are on the whole satisfied with their hearing privacies, their visual privacies, their own space, and the nature of do-main in the closed type and mixed type offices. In open type offices, their visual privacy is often violated. *In the property by individual, men feel more violated their hearing privacies than women. In the personal spa-se and domain, women are less stabilized psycholo-gically than men. *The analysis of the attitude by position, a man of po-sition is more violated his hearing privacy and does not understand each other. The common run of workers are violated their visual privacies and the nature of separa-tion.
Recently, as human-centered design and humanization of space accelerates, the concept of physical space is changing to user-centered space. In particular, in the case of exhibition space to utilize digital media, visitors' actively experiencing exhibits and participating exhibition are regarded as an important factor, thus affordance design serves as a crucial factor to afford satisfaction with exhibition space to the visitors. Accordingly, the study is to understand the concept of the affordance and the digital media exhibition environment and to analyze the preference for each affordance design factor in the digital exhibition environment. The survey is conducted to people in the twenties who inhabit Seoul and the metropolitan area, familiar with the digital media. The results of the survey show that the most important role of the digital media in the exhibition environment is to create the atmosphere for concentration and complexity is the most preferable among interactivity, network ability and complexity, the feature of the digital media. Additionally, the results reveal that cognitive affordance presenting the feature of design to help the user when he/she want to know something is the most preferable among sensory affordance, physical affordance, cognitive affordance and functional affordance and as the time exposed to the digital media increases the importance of the affordance design is high. As the digital environment is common now in many fields, it will be regarded as a crucial factor to the visitors of an exhibit hall from now on whether affordance design is used.
Purpose: The latissimus dorsi muscle flap is a versatile flap used in a variety of reconstructive procedures. The most common complication of LD muscle flap is donor site seroma, reported to occur in 20 to 79 percent of cases. The formation of dead space under the flap is intimately associated with seroma formation. The authors think that the use of progressive tension suture at closing donor site can decrease the formation of dead space and ultimately reduce the incidence of donor site seroma. Methods: A retrospective review was performed with 38 patients who underwent latissimus dorsi muscle harvest for breast reconstruction from March 2003 to September 2004. Progressive tension sutures were used during donor site closure in 22 patients. This group was compared with controls group(16 patients) who underwent latissimus dorsi muscle harvest without using this technique. Operation time, length of hospital stay, period of drainage, complication, and satisfaction about postoperative scar of donor site were examined. Results: The average length of hospital stay was 10.2 days and 12.7 days, and the mean duration of drainage were 7.3 days and 11.7 days in each progressive suture group and control group. These results were statistically significant (p<0.05). In the 22 patients who underwent progressive tension suture, none had seroma, hematoma or skin necrosis. In control group(16 patients), there happened one seroma formation and one partial skin necrosis. These complications were healed by aspiration of seroma and wound revision. The patients' satisfaction was not statistically significant, but the higher points were given by the patients who underwent progressive tension suture. Conclusion: This technique, progressive tension suture, is an effective method to reduce or eliminate donor site seroma, which is the most common complication associated with latissimus dorsi muscle harvest.
