임상실습에 대한 임상병리(학)과 학생들의 만족도 조사를 바탕으로 임상실습 만족이 전공 만족도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Clinical Practice Satisfaction on Major Satisfaction Based on the Survey of Satisfaction of Clinical Laboratory Science Students on Clinical Practice)

  • 이 연구는 임상실습을 실시한 임상병리(학)과 학생을 대상으로 임상실습에 대한 만족도를 조사하였으며, 전공 만족도에 따른 임상실습 만족도 차이와 전공 만족도에 영향을 미치는 임상실습 만족도 요인을 확인하였다. 2018년 8주의 동계 임상실습을 수행한 4년제 2개교, 3년제 7개교 임상병리(학)과 학생을 대상으로 2019년 2월 20일부터 2019년 3월 10일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 344명을 최종 분석 자료로 선정하였다. 설문지는 총 46문항으로 대상자의 일반적 특성 3문항, 임상실습 만족도에 관한 문항 43문항으로 구성되었다. 임상실습에 대한 영역별 만족도 중 임상실습 평가부분의 만족도가 5점 만점에 평균 3.88점으로 가장 낮았다. 또한 여학생보다 남학생의 임상실습 만족도가 높았으며, 임상병리(학)과 전공 만족도가 보통 이하인 군보다 보통을 초과한 군에서 높은 만족도를 보였다. 임상병리(학)과 전공 만족도에 영향을 미치는 임상실습 만족도 요인으로는 임상실습 시간에 대한 만족도와 대인관계에 대한 만족도가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Purpose: This study was designed to identify the relationship between image of nursing and satisfaction with clinical practice of nursing students Method: A descriptive research design that examined relationship between image of nurse and satisfaction with clinical practice of nursing students was used for this study, All 350 subjects were obtained by convenience sampling from three nursing diploma programs. The data were collected using an self-reporting questionnaire from May 1st to 31st, 2003. Collected data were analysed on SPSS Win 11.0. Result: There is a significant relationship between image of nurse and satisfaction with clinical practice of nursing student. Classical image of nurse, older age, and satisfaction with nursing of nursing students were identified as the factors that influence significantly on their satisfaction with clinical practice. Conclusions: Nursing student is given a chance to prepare themselves be a nurse through well-structured clinical nursing practice. Therefore, it's important to enhance nursing students' image of nurse and satisfaction with nursing in order to enhance their satisfaction with clinical practice.

프리셉터쉽 적용이 간호학생외 비판적 사고성향, 입상수행능력 및 임상실습 만족도에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Preceptorship on Nursing Students' Critical Thinking Propensity, Clinical Competency and Satisfaction of Clinical Practice)

  • Purpose: This study was to compare effects of preceptorship on nursing students' critical thinking propensity, clinical competency, and the satisfaction of clinical practice. Method: The subjects were 80 by preceptorship group and 51 by conventional method group. The data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 program. Results: The subject's critical thinking propensity, clinical competency and satisfaction of clinical practices between the preceptorship group and the conventional method group revealed statistically significant difference. Subject's critical thinking propensity revealed significant correlations, along with the clinical competεncy and the satisfaction for clinical practice. And the clinical competency revealed statistically significant correlations with the satisfaction for clinical practice. Conclusion: Findings of this study reveals that the nursing students who had clinical practice by preceptorship showed higher scores in the critical thinking propensity, clinical competency, and the satisfaction for clinical practice than the conventional method group. Consequently, we are quite consciously encouraged to reinforce the preceptorship for realization of an effective clinical practice education for nursing students.

치위생과 학생의 자아탄력성, 가족지지, 교수효율성이 임상실습 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The effect of ego-resilience, family support and teaching effectiveness on clinical practice satisfaction of dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study was to examine factors influencing satisfaction with clinical practice in dental hygiene students. Through this study, we suggested efficient guidance to increase satisfaction levels with clinical practice. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 235 students of clinical dental hygiene in Seoul Gyeonggi Chungcheong Kyongsang and Jeolla province from June 9 to 30, 2017. The questionnaire consisted of questions on general characteristics (6 items), clinical practice characteristics (7 items), ego-resilience (14 items), family support (24 items), teaching effectiveness(35 items), and clinical practice satisfaction (30 items). Data were analyzed using SPSS 19.0. One way ANOVA, the Scheffe Post-hoc test, and the Pearson correlation coefficients were reviewed, and a multiple regression analysis was conducted. Cronbach's alpha of ego-resilience, family support, teaching effectiveness, clinical practice satisfaction were 0.784, 0.892, 0.954 and 0.935, respectively. Results: ego-resilience was 3.24 points, family support was 3.24 points, teaching effectiveness was 2.93 points, clinical practice satisfaction 3.44 points. The meaningful variables which influenced clinical practice satisfaction were the ego-resilience, family support and teaching effectiveness. These factors explained 40.6% of the variance in clinical practice satisfaction. Conclusions: One of the most significant predictors of clinical practice satisfaction in dental hygiene students was teaching effectiveness. Therefore, a teaching program to improve eaching effectiveness should be developed and applied.

치위생과 학생의 성취동기 및 자아개념이 임상실습 만족도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of achievement motivation and self concept on clinical practice satisfaction in the dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of achievement motivation and self concept on clinical practice satisfaction in the dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 206 dental hygiene students in Jeonnam from December to October, 2013. The questionnaire consisted of 6questions of general characteristics, 6 questions of achievement motivation, 18 questions of self concept, and 23 questions of clinical practice satisfaction. Cronbach's alpha was 0.881, 0.889, and 0.935 in achievement motivation, self concept, and clinical practice satisfaction, respectively. The data were analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. Results: Clinical practice satisfaction showed a significant difference by grade(p<0.05), personality(p<0.05) and satisfaction of major(p<0.01). Clinical practice satisfaction had a positive correlation with achievement motivation(r=0.508, p<0.01) and self concept(r=0.324, p<0.01). Multiple logistic regression analysis revealed that clinical practice satisfaction was related with achievement motivation(p<0.05) and self concept(p<0.01). Conclusions: The clinical practice satisfaction depends on achievement motivation and self concept. It is necessary to develop the program to improve satisfaction level of clinical practice by achievement motivation and self concept.

간호대학생의 임상실습만족도가 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Satisfaction with Clinical Practice on Nursing Professionalism of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the correlations among nursing professionalism, clinical practice satisfaction of nursing students. Method: The subjects were 184 nursing students recruited from one college located in D city. Data were collected using structured questionnaire, and analyzed with the PASW 21.0 program. Results: The results indicate that nursing students have levels of nursing professionalism, and clinical practice satisfaction that are higher than the median. Nursing professionalism showed differences according to plans for academic performance, major satisfaction, personality, and personal relations. Nursing professionalism was significantly correlated with clinical practice satisfaction, major satisfaction. Conclusion: Clinical practice satisfaction, and academic performance were the most influential factor predicting greater nursing professionalism. Thus, these factors should be considered when developing a program for enhancing nursing professionalism.

일부 치위생과 재학생의 전공만족도와 임상실습만족도의 관련성 (Relationship of satisfaction with major and clinical practice among some dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction level of dental hygiene students with their major and clinical practice in an effort to have a good understanding of dental hygiene students. The subjects in this study were 226 juniors who were selected from among dental hygiene students at four different colleges located in Busan and South Gyeongnam Province. Methods : The collected data were analyzed by the SPSS WIN 15.0. Statistical data on frequency and percentage were obtained to figure out the general characteristics of the students. To grasp their satisfaction level with clinical practice and major, another statistical data on mean and standard deviation were obtained, and t-test and one-way ANOVA were carried out and correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results : As for the relationship between general characteristics and satisfaction with clinical practice, their collective average was 3.29. The dental hygiene students who were more satisfied with their major expressed higher satisfaction with the practicums, the content of practice and clinical practice. In relation to the impact of the satisfaction of the dental hygiene students with major on their satisfaction with clinical practice, the students who were more satisfied with social awareness and with the courses expressed better satisfaction with clinical practice. Conclusions : Given the findings of the study, the departments of dental hygiene that nurture professionals should carefully consider how to raise the satisfaction of students with the courses that affect the improvement of satisfaction with major and clinical practice.

일부 치위생과 학생들의 실습 만족도와 사회적 지지 관련 요인 (Related factors of clinical practice satisfaction and social support in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the related factors of clinical practice satisfaction and social support in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 420 dental hygiene students in Gwangju and Jeonnam from March 8 to April 8, 2014. Except 26 incomplete answers, 394 data were analyzed. The instrument consisted of general characteristics of the subjects(7 questions), social support(7 questions), and satisfaction level with clinical practice(22 questions). The instrument for satisfaction level with clinical practice included self-esteem(1 question), interest and usefulness(2 questions), knowledge application(1 question), place of clinical practice(1 question), and influence by practice leader(1 question). Cronbach alpha was 0.773 in the study. The instrument of social support was adapted from Park and reconstructed. Social support included emotional support(11 questions), self-esteem support(7 questions), and informative support(4 questions). Social support was score by Likert 5 scale and higher score showed the higher social support. Results: The dental hygiene students got a mean of $3.11{\pm}0.55$ in clinical practice satisfaction. They got 3.35 points in satisfaction with major and 3.32 in satisfaction with curricula(p<0.001). They got a mean of $3.68{\pm}0.55$ in social support. They got $3.69{\pm}0.57$ in emotional support; $3.81{\pm}0.59$ in self-esteem support; and $3.53{\pm}0.66$ in informative support. The influencing variables on satisfaction with clinical practice were self-esteem support(B=0.202), satisfaction with major(B=0.234), and satisfaction with curricula (B=0.128). Conclusions: There was a close relationship between satisfaction with clinical practice and social support. In order to enhance the satisfaction with clinical practice, it is necessary to connect self-esteem support with major satisfaction and curricula satisfaction.

임상실습시 간호학생이 지각하는 간호 가치관과 실습 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The Influencing Factors on Nursing Perspectives and Satisfaction of Clinical Practice in Nursing Students)

  • The purpose of this study was designed to analyze the influencing factors on nursing perspectives and satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students. The data was collected through structured questionnaire. The subjects in this study were 192 nursing students who had been educated in three colleges and one university in Kwangju. Data collection was done from January to February, 1999. The data was analyzed by using SAS program. The results from this study were as follows; 1. The mean score of total nursing perspectives was $4.24{\pm}0.40$ and that of total clinical practice satisfaction was $2.63{\pm}0.38$. 2. Self experience of admission was significant in satisfaction of clinical practice(t=2.09, p=.03). 3. Nursing perspectives by religion was significant(t=2.26, p=.02). 4. The nursing perspectives was significant according to the classifications of clinical instructor(F=4.50, p=.01) and the most difficult interpersonal relationships of the clinical practice(F=4.14, p=.02). 5. The satisfaction of clinical practice was significant according to the most difficult interpersonal relationships of the clinical practice(F=3.61, p=.03). 6. The correlation between the scores of nursing perspectives and satisfaction of clinical practice was not significant(r=.191, p=.060). In conclusion, it was found that the more positive interpersonal relationships of clinical practice, the more higher degree of perceived satisfaction of clinical practice and nursing perspectives. And the clinical instructors should play a good role model to gain positive satisfaction of clinical practice perceived by nursing students.

일 간호대학생의 스트레스, 우울, 대처방법과 임상실습 만족도 (Stress, Depression, Coping Styles and Satisfaction of Clinical Practice in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among stress, depression, coping styles and satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students. Method: Two hundred fifty-eight nursing college students in 1 city were selected by convenient sample. A questionnaire measured the level of stress, depression, coping styles and satisfaction of clinical practice. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Result: The mean score of stress was 2.82 (${\pm}.39$), depression was 19.23 (${\pm}7.70$), coping styles was 2.42 (${\pm}.42$), and satisfaction of clinical practice was 2.81 (${\pm}.41$). There were significant differences on four variables according to the satisfaction of a nursing major. Stress had a significant positive correlation with depression, and a negative correlation with problem focused coping and satisfaction of clinical practice. Depression had a significant negative correlation with satisfaction of clinical practice. Emotional focused coping had a significant positive correlation with depression, and problem focused coping had a significant negative correlation with depression. Conclusion: From the studies reviewed, one can expect a positive effect on decreasing stress and depression among nursing students when the nursing educators use counseling and instruction for clinical practice.
