위성영상 종류에 따른 분리도 특성 (Class Separability according to the different Type of Satellite Images)

  • The classification of the satellite images is basic part in Remote sensing. In classification of the satellite images, class separability feature is very effective accuracy of the images classified. For improving classification accuracy, It is necessary to study classification methode than analysis of class separability feature deciding classification probability. In this study, IKONOS, SPOT 5, Landsat TM, were resampled to sizes 1m grid. Above images were calculated the class separability prior to the step for classification of pixels. The results of the study were valued necessary process in geometric information building. This study help to improve accuracy of classification as feature of class separability in the class through optimizing previous classification steps.

  • The improved accuracy of the Land Cover/Land Use Map constructed using Hyperspectal Satellite Image and the possibility of real time classification of Land Use using optimal Band Selective Factor enable the change detection from automatic classification using the existed Land Cover/Land Use Map and the newly acquired Hyperspectral Satellite Image. In this study, the effective analysis techniques for automatic generation of training regions, automatic classification and automatic change detection are proposed to minimize the expert's interpretation for automatic update of the Land Cover/Land Use Map. The proposed algorithms performed successfully the automatic Land Cover/Land Use Map construction, automatic change detection and automatic update on the image which contained the changed region. It would increase applicability in actual services. Also, it would be expected to present the effective methods of constructing national land monitoring system.

  • One of future remote sensing techniques for the estimation of damage by storm and flood is the extraction of water area, which could be the basis of measuring the damage by storm and flood and estimate restoration cost. This paper introduces an approach to damage estimation using satellite Image. The project site was Ansung area and a set of Radarsat-1 SAR image at 6.25m resolution was used for the test. Authors investigated methods of SAR image processing such as shadow-effect removal, orthorectification of SAR image and calculation of damage area by flood. Consequetly, this study showed that technique improvement of image processing and the best of result for extracting water area. Also, found the new possibility of damage estimation using satellite image.

  • Forest fire is due to difficulty in approaching the forest fire at the time of forest fire and quite a long of time required for post-fire investigation, accurate analysis of damages to the forest area caused by forest fire is difficult to obtain. Recently, In attempt to overcome such difficulty, many researches are using satellite images. Nevertheless, it is not easy for everyone to obtain the satellite image data, and additional researches in order to verify accuracy of such data are also required. Therefore, in this study for satellite image to about damages to the forest areas caused by forest fire using tile selected two data of spectral reflectance of the vegetation, gained by using a spectrometer. That is we wished to search about mistake that is apt to happen by one time eyesight observation by analyzing two datas that is used spectral radiometer 3 months and 6 months later and gets.

  • 본 연구는 도시 및 지역연구를 위한 인공위성(특히, LANDSAT) Data의 분석방법과 그 활용방안에 관한 연구이다. LANDSAT MSS Data와 화상처리장치를 사용하여 서울, 대전, 그리고 인천지역의 분류항목별 토지피복도와 경년변화를 추출하였다. 연구결과 도시 및 지역연구시에 인공위성 Data를 이용하면 충분히 유효한 결과를 얻을 수 있음을 알았다.

  • In this study, for efficient replacemen of sensor modelling of high-resolution satellite imagery, image segmentation method is applied to the test area of the SPOT-3 satellite imagery. After that, a third-order polynomial model in the sectioned area is compared with the RFM which is to the entire in the test area. As results, plane error of the third-order polynomial model is lower(approximately 0.8m) than that of RFM. On the other hand, height error of RFM is lower(approximately 1.0m).

Extraction of Spatial Characteristics of Cadastral Land Category from RapidEye Satellite Images

  • With rapid land development, land category should be updated on a regular basis. However, manual field surveys have certain limitations. In this study, attempts were made to extract a feature vector considering spectral signature by parcel, PIMP (Percent Imperviousness), texture, and VIs (Vegetation Indices) based on RapidEye satellite image and cadastral map. A total of nine land categories in which feature vectors were significantly extracted from the images were selected and classified using SVM (Support Vector Machine). According to accuracy assessment, by comparing the cadastral map and classification result, the overall accuracy was 0.74. In the paddy-field category, in particular, PO acc. (producer's accuracy) and US acc. (user's accuracy) were highest at 0.85 and 0.86, respectively.

  • The Development of GPS practical using and systematic fixing for GPS Quality Control System on On-Line.   • Satellite captures images periodically and economically over the area wider than aerial photographs, and reconnaissance to unapproachable area. For these advantages, mapping using high resolution satellite image has high potentials of marketability and development. Therefore, utilization of satellite image in mapping and GIS is expected to be growing and research on describable feature, positional accuracy and, possible mapping scale is urgently needed. This research presented that Quick Bird orthoimage could be used to update digital map on a scale of 1:5,000. Quick Bird image was corrected geometrically based on ground control points. DEM was generated using height data of digital topographic map. The orthoimge was produced by digital differential rectification based on DEM which was generated using height data of digital topographic map(scale 1;5,000 and 1;1,000). When the digital topographic map was overlaid with the orthoimage, it was very easy to find changed region or new features builded after the map compiled.
