Herbs are widely used as a source of tea and otherwise such as botanical medicine, essential oil for perfumes, cosmetics, and food spices. This study was carried out to investigate the characteristics of herb tea prepared with lavender, rosemary, mint, thyme and sage cultivated in korea. Approximate composition were as follows : crude protein 1.4∼17.5%, crude fat 6.1∼15.8%, sugars 43.5∼61s%, crude ash 7.7∼10.7%. Minerals contents of Ca ranged 707∼1763mg%, P 234 ∼513mg%, K 2,391∼3,430mg%, and Mg 361∼573mg%. Vitamins were $\beta$ -Carotene 6.9∼27.7mg%, B$_1$, 0.34∼0.62mg%, B$_2$1.37 ∼2.52mg%, niacin 5.3∼8.8mg%, and C 102∼111mg%. The changes of chromaticity a and b, pH, and sugar content of the herb tea at the different temperatures were decreased 80$\^{C}$ and 100$\^{C}$ in comparison to 60$\^{C}$ but increased chromaticity L. In the result of sensory test of the processed herb tea was more preferred than the market goods.

The slag viscosity is an important factor determining the operation temperature of entrained flow type of gasifiers. The temperature of critical viscosity, $T_{cv}$, for 5 crystalline slags was predicted by empirical models and FactSage equilibrium calculations, and the validity of each method was tested. Two empirical models were employed: one using $T_h$ from the ash fusion test, and the other using the concentrations of 5 major components. The first model using $T_h$ over-predicted $T_{cv}$ by $20{\sim}100^{\circ}C$, while the model based on the slag composition under-predicted $T_{cv}$ by $80{\sim}120^{\circ}C$. In the equlibrium calculations, $T_{cv}$ was obtained from the liquidus temperature. When the 4-major component concentrations were used in the calculation, the predicted temperatures were higher than the observed. The liquidus temperature was very sensitive to the concentrations of minor components, and the addition of MgO and $Na_2O$ lowered the liquidus temperature. The results with 4 major and 3 minor components most closely described experimentally observed $T_{cv}$. In the case that a chromia refractory was used, it was shown that $Cr_2O_3$ concentration in the slag also needs to be included for more accurate prediction of $T_{cv}$.

This thesis tried applying Ayurvedic hair and scalp care program and analyzing its effect. Ayurvedic treatment strengthens our immunity through natural healing power. I measured with MIC test and Halo test in order to examine the antibacterial efficacy against colonies which reside in head, when Ayurvedic base oils and essential oils were used on hair and scalp. Finally, I reached the results as follows. I examined the antibacterial efficacy of base oils and essential oils against Bacillus subtilis and Propionibacterium acnes, based on the MIC test with 9 kinds of base oil and 18 kinds of essential oil. By way of experiment, base oils did not show the antibacterial efficacy from all colonies, and in case of essential oils, such as Chamomile, Clary sage, Jasmine, Neroli and Rose oil, the antibacterial efficacy against two colonies did not appear by the measure of below 5%. It turned out that Thyme, Geranium, Lavender and Tea tree had an high effect on two colonies. According to the Halo test which experimented on 7 kinds of bacteria with the essential oils like Geranium, Lavender and Thyme and with the base oils like Sesame and Coconut, it went to prove that base oils was inefficient on antibiosis. It was examined that all of essential oils had the effect on antibiosis from 7 kinds of bacteria. Thyme showed the best efficacy of antibiosis in the MIC and the Halo test.

An analysis of recent studies and a field survey were conducted to investigate the distribution of the exotic species Ophraella communa LeSage (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) and the results' applicability for biological control against ragweed, which disturbs the island's ecosystem. The ragweed beetle (O. communa) can be found anywhere on the host plant Ambrosia artemisiifolia L., which grows in Jeju Island. Moreover, ragweed beetles possess the following characteristics: a high host plant specificity, a high-temperature resistance, an excellent mobility, and multivoltinism. Ragweed is extensively distributed and gradually expands its habitat further on Jeju Island. For this reason, it is recommended to take advantage of O. communa for the biological control of ragweed instead of pesticides or direct removal, considering that Jeju is endowed with many natural reserves and unique insular traits.

This study, as an attempt to integrate mathematics and information for convergence education, was conducted to develop teaching-learning materials on mathematics education combined with coding education, which has recently been emphasized. We chose the subject of digital signature for coding education, and used SageMath as a coding program. In this study, we overview mathematics used in the elliptic curve digital signature algorithm, one of the many methods for digital signature, and developed the teaching-learning materials on the algorithm for mathematics education integrated with information education based on coding. The elliptic curve digital signature algorithm utilized in transactions of Bitcoin, which many people recently are interested in, is a good example, showing students that mathematics is applied to problem-solving in the real world and provides an optimal environment for implementation by coding. Accordingly, we expect that a class on algorithm will provide a specific teaching-learning program to achieve the goal of integrated mathematics education. By comprehensively considering the opinions of mathematicians, mathematics teachers and mathematics education experts, we expect that the teaching-learning program will be realized as a meaningful class in science high schools, high school's math clubs, and 'number theory' class in colleges.

This article investigates the concept of the xing(性) used by Hu Hong. Hu Hong's philosophical system considered to top priority for xing is called xingbunlun(性本論), and he suggested the characteristics of xing as follows. First, Hu Hong regarded xing as the fundamental of whole world and related to the specific individual things, so he constructed the concept of xing in the perspective of ontology. Namely while xing is ti(體) the root of all the world, it is the realization of the uniqueness of the individual things. Also he considered xing which of the ontological aspect developed various psychological aspect contained xin (心), qing(情), yu(欲), etc. Seond, As Hu Hong regulated that wei fa(未發) is xing and yi fa(已發) is xin, he defined the ideal relation between xing and xin as xingtixinyong(性體心用). And he considered that the sage and the ordinary peoples are equal in the xing's aspect of wei fa, but they are not equal in ability of the xin in the aspect of wei fa. Hu Hong thought that the only sage realized the ideal relation between xing and xin in this world, because he keep his mind silent. So Hu Hong suggested the possibility of moral cultivation to the ordinary peoples, expressing that human nature realized the function of the mind(成性), in order that they realized ideal relation by following ren(仁). Third, unlike the traditional notion, Hu Hong understood the meaning of xing in the aspect of ontology. He interpreted the shan(善) of xingshan(性善) as the meaning of exclamation, which implied that "the innate goodness of human nature(性善)" meant "Human nature is good." Because Hu Hong thought that the meaning of xing transcended the relative concept of good and evil, and accepted the whole world affirmatively. In the opinion of Hu Hong, as the concept of xing had two ways of intentionality; likes and dislikes(好惡), things formed relationship with other in this world. Then the concept of good and evil of the ethical value judgement occurred.

This study selected a total of 19 studies using databases of PubMed, SAGE Journal, and Wiley Online Library from 2000 to 2019 to find out about vocational rehabilitation of patients with schizophrenia in the area of overseas occupational therapy. First, the quality level of the study was all Level I. Second, the diagnosis for participants of the studies other than schizophrenia had the most schizoaffective disorder. Third, by types of interventions, 11 papers, the largest, were about social skills and cognitive rehabilitation training plus supported employment, followed by 4 about supported employment and 3 about social skills and cognitive rehabilitation training, 1 about other vocational approaches. Regarding studies showing effects in the employment rate by interventions type following three types of employment, as the most effective of studies, they were social skills and cognitive rehabilitation training plus support employment in competitive employment, social skills and cognitive rehabilitation training in non-competitive employment, and support employment in paid employment. Fifth, looking at the studies trend in the last 5 years, the most studies were social skills and cognitive rehabilitation training plus supported employment. Since this study classified the types and effects of vocational rehabilitation for patients with schizophrenia based on previous overseas studies, it is hoped that this study will be provided as basic data for understanding vocational rehabilitation of schizophrenic patients and applying them in domestic clinical settings.

We observed an area of 10 $deg^2$ of the Large Magellanic Cloud using the Infrared Camera (IRC) onboard AKARI. The observations were carried out using five imaging filters (3, 7, 11, 15, and $24{\mu}m$) and the prism disperser ($2-5{\mu}m$, ${\lambda}/{\Delta}{\lambda}{\sim}20$) equipped in the IRC. This paper presents an outline of the survey project and also describes very briefly the newly compiled near- to mid-infrared point source catalog. The $10{\sigma}$ limiting magnitudes are 17.9, 13.8, 12.4, 9.9, and 8.6 mag at 3.2, 7, 11, 15 and $24{\mu}m$, respectively. The photometric accuracy is estimated to be about 0.1 mag at $3.2{\mu}m$ and 0.06 - 0.07 mag in the other bands. The position accuracy is 0.3" at 3.2, 7 and $11{\mu}m$ and 1.0" at 15 and $24{\mu}m$. The sensitivities at 3.2, 7, and $24{\mu}m$ are roughly comparable to those of the Spitzer SAGE LMC point source catalog, while the AKARI catalog provides the data at 11 and $15{\mu}m$, covering the near- to mid-infrared spectral range continuously.

The effect of heated oil on human nutrition has recently become of great interest to nutritionists and food chemists. However, the detrimental effect of heated oil has been hardly studied extensively and many problems have still remained unsolved. This study was carried out to investigate the storage stability of the heated oils at room temperature (25$\pm$5$^{\circ}C$), with the variation in storage conditions (addition of spices and herbs) for 7 weeks period. The rancidity of the oils according to storage time and condition was measured and compared with TBA, ferric thiocyanate, and DPPH method. For fresh oil, when stored for 7 weeks at room temperature, her was no significant change in the degree of oxidation. But for the heated oil with frying materials, the degree of oxidation significantly increased at 5 weeks(p<0.05). When stored with spices and herbs, the degree of oxidation significantly decreased with storage period(p<0.05). Antioxidative activity of herbs, especially sage group was higher than that of any other group.

An integral crank driven Stirling cryocooler is solidly based on concepts of direct IR detector mounting on the cryocooler's cold finger, and the integral construction of the cryocooler and Dewar envelope. Performance factors of the cryocooler depend on operating conditions of the cryocooler such as a cyclic mean pressure of the working fluid, a rotational speed of driving mechanism, a thermal environment, a targeted operation temperature and etc.. At given charging condition of helium gas, the cyclic mean pressure of helium gas in the cryocooler changes with temperatures of the cold end and the environment. In this study, effects of the cyclic mean pressure of helium gas on performances of the Stirling cryocooler were investigated by numerical analyses using the Sage software. The simulation model takes into account thermodynamic losses due to an inefficiency of regenerator, a pressure drop, a shuttle heat transfer and solid conductions. Simulations are performed for the performance variation according to the cyclic mean pressure induced by the temperature of the cold end and the environment. This paper presents P-V works in the compression and expansion space, cooling capacity, contribution of losses in the expansion space.
