선박자동식별장치를 이용한 ADS-B 개념 기반의 항공감시용 송수신기의 구현 (Implementation of Aeronautical Surveillance Transceiver using AIS based on ADS-B Concepts)

  • 국제해사기구(International Maritime Organization, IMO)에서는 선박의 해상 충돌을 방지하기 위하여 SOLAS의 요구조건에 따라 모든 선박에 대하여 선박자동식별장치(Automatic Identification System, AIS)를 의무적으로 장착하도록 권고하고 있다. AIS를 사용하면 타선에 대한 제원 및 항행정보의 획득이 가능하여 충돌방지뿐만 아니라 광역관제, 조난 선박의 탐색구조 등 안전관리에도 활용이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 AIS 장비를 사용하여 ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast) 개념 기반의 항공감시용 송수신기를 구현한 결과에 대하여 살펴보도록 한다. 기본적으로 AIS는 해상에서 사용되기 때문에 고도 정보를 사용하지 않지만, AIS 장비 내부에 사용하는 GPS (Global Positioning System) 칩셋에서 제공하는 고도 정보의 추출이 가능하다. 고도 정보를 포함한 감시 메시지 형식을 정의하고, SOTDMA (Self-Organizing Time Division Multiple Access) 방식을 개선하여 ADS-B 송수신기를 구현하였다. 적용 결과를 확인하기 위하여 지상시험 및 비행시험을 수행하였다.

Modeling and Control Method for High-power Electromagnetic Transmitter Power Supplies

  • High-power electromagnetic transmitter power supplies are an important part of deep geophysical exploration equipment. This is especially true in complex environments, where the ability to produce a highly accurate and stable output and safety through redundancy have become the key issues in the design of high-power electromagnetic transmitter power supplies. To solve these issues, a high-frequency switching power cascade based emission power supply is designed. By combining the circuit averaged model and the equivalent controlled source method, a modular mathematical model is established with the on-state loss and transformer induction loss being taken into account. A triple-loop control including an inner current loop, an outer voltage loop and a load current forward feedback, and a digitalized voltage/current sharing control method are proposed for the realization of the rapid, stable and highly accurate output of the system. By using a new algorithm referred to as GAPSO, which integrates a genetic algorithm and a particle swarm algorithm, the parameters of the controller are tuned. A multi-module cascade helps to achieve system redundancy. A simulation analysis of the open-loop system proves the accuracy of the established system and provides a better reflection of the characteristics of the power supply. A parameter tuning simulation proves the effectiveness of the GAPSO algorithm. A closed-loop simulation of the system and field geological exploration experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the control method. This ensures both the system's excellent stability and the output's accuracy. It also ensures the accuracy of the established mathematical model as well as its ability to meet the requirements of practical field deep exploration.

  • In case of environment requiring safety such as human body and requiring flexible shape, a conventional mechanical actuator system does not satisfy requirements. Therefore, in order to solve these problems. a research of various smart material such as EAP (Electro Active Polymer), EAC (Electro Active Ceramic) and SMA (Shape Memory Alloy) is in progress. Recently, the highest preferring material among various smart material is EP (Electrostictive Polymer), because it has very fast response time, powerful force and large displacement. The previous researches have been studied properties of polymer and simple control, but present researches are studied a polymer actuator. An EP (Electostrictive Polymer) actuator has properties which change variably ils shape and environmental condition. Therefore, in order to coincide with a user's purpose, it is important not only to decide a shape of actuator and mechanical design but also to investigate a efficient controller. In this paper, we constructed the control logic with an adaptive fuzzy algorithm which depends on the physical properties of EP that has a dielectric constant depending on time. It caused for a sub-actuator to operate at the same time that a sub-actuator system operation increase with a functional improvement and control efficiency improvement in each actuator, hence it becomes very important to manage it effectively and to control the sub-system which Is operated effectively. There is a limitation on the management of Main-host system which has multiple sub-system, hence it brings out the Multi-Vehicle Control process that disperse the task efficiently. Controlling the multi-dispersion system efficiently, it needs the research of Main-host system's scheduling, data interchange between sub-actuators, data interchange between Main-host system and sub-actuator system, and data communication process. Therefore in this papers, we compared the fuzzy controller with the adaptive fuzzy controller. also, we applied the scheduling method for efficient multi-control in EP Actuator and the algorithm with interchanging data, protocol design.

비규격 초음파 탐상용 표준시험편의 사용안전성 평가 (Evaluation of Suitability of Non-Standardized Test Block for Ultrasonic Testing)

  • 표준시험편이란 재질, 형상, 치수 및 성능이 권위 있는 기관에 위해 검정된 국제적인 시험편을 말하며 이것은 탐상기의 특성시험 또는 감도조정, 시간축의 측정범위 조정에 사용된다. 그런데 이 표준시험편은 초음파탐상 결과에 아주 크게 영향을 미치는 하나의 변수로 ASTM 이나 JIS에서는 이들 표준시험편의 규격, 재질 및 성분 등을 엄격하게 규격화하고 있다. 그 이유는 이들 성질들이 감도와 분해능 및 재현성에 아주 큰 영향을 미치기 때문이다. 따라서 결함의 크기 및 치수를 정량화하고 재현성 있는 결과를 얻기 위해서는 엄격한 품질의 표준시험편이 요구되고 있다. 그러나 ASTM 또는 JIS등의 규격품들은 상당히 고가이며 시중에는 품질이 검증되지 않은 표준시험편들이 일부 사용되고 있는 실정에 있고 이들 시험편의 품질 및 사용 적합성을 재고하기 위하여 각종 규격에 비추어 보고, 규격품들과 비규격품의 각종 성질들을 비교하여 그 사용 안정성을 고찰하고자 하였다. 그 결과 비규격품들은 치수 및 성분에서 많은 문제점을 안고있으며 비규격품들을 검증없이 사용할 경우 피검물내의 결함의 위치나 크기 측정에 오차를 유발할 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • 모바일하버는 해상에서 컨테이너 상하역 작업을 하는 새로운 해상물류 시스템이다. 모바일하버용크레인과 같이 해상에서 작업하는 대형 구조물은 파도에 의해 발생하는 지지부의 운동으로 관성력의 영향을 크게 받는다. 따라서 구조물의 안전성에 대한 정확한 검증이 요구되며, 생산 비용을 줄이기 위해 경량화가 매우 중요하다. 이런 요구조건을 위해 동적 응답 최적설계를 수행한다. 등가정하중법은 동하중을 등가정하중으로 변환한 후, 정적 응답 최적화기법을 사용하여 문제를 해결하는 동적 응답 최적설계 방법이다. 지지부의 움직임을 고려한 등가정하중법을 제안하고, 제안한 방법으로 모바일하버용 크레인을 최적화한다.

직영 및 위탁 사업체 급식소 영양사에 대한 작업자 지향적 직무분석(제 2 보) : 요인분석에 의한 직무수행 특성 영역 및 직무정보 기술 (Categorization of Competencies and Description of Job Informations for Dietitians in Employee Foodservice by Wdorker-oriented Job Analysis Methodology)

  • The job characteristics and competencies of 285 dietitians in employee foodservices were investigated by worker-oriented job analysis methodology. The purposes of this study were to : a) determine the knowledge, abilities, skills and other characteristics(KASO) needed for dietitians in two types of employee foodservice groups(self-operated vs. contracted), b) categorize KASO items by factor analysis and c) provide job information and job descriptions for dietitians in employee foodservices. The job analysis questionnaire was consisted of questions concerning the 134 KASO items. The questionnaire was mailed to 250 dietitians who are members of The Korean Dietetic Association Practice Group in self-operated foodservices(group A) and 250 dietitians who are employed in contracted foodservice companies(group B). Completed questionnaires were received from 285 dietitians(121 in self-operated, 164 in contracted) ; with response rate of 57%. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SPSS/win and the SAS/win packages. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1) Through factor analysis, the 134 KASO items were regrouped into 6 categories :‘primary dietetic tasks concerning menu management and administrative work regarding merchants’, ‘primary dietetic tasks concerning procurement and purchasing of food and supplies and meal production and service control’, ‘primary dietetic tasks concerning facility, sanitation and safety control’, ‘secondary dietetic tasks concerning nutrition education and research’, ‘secondary dietetic tasks concerning foodservice operation management’and‘human attributes’. 2) Analysis of the total scores(average scores of degree of frequency, importance and entry requirements of KASO items within 6 categories), group A showed high priorities placed on‘human attributes’, ‘procurement and purchasing of food and supplies and meal production and service control’, ‘menu management and administrative work regarding merchants’, ‘whereas group B showed high priorities placed on’‘human attributes’, ‘foodservice operation management’. Effect of Substrate Temperature and Post-Annealing on Structural and Electrical Properties of ZnO Thin Films for Gas Sensor Applications

  • ZnO is a promising material since it could be applied to many fields such as solar cells, laser diodes, thin films transistors and gas sensors. ZnO has a wide and direct band gap for about 3.37 eV at room temperature and a high exciton binding energy of 60 meV. In particular, ZnO features high sensitivity to toxic and combustible gas such as CO, NOX, so on. The development of gas sensors to monitor the toxic and combustible gases is imperative due to the concerns for enviromental pollution and the safety requirements for the industry. In this study, we investigated the effect of substrate temperature and post-annealing on structural and electrical properties of ZnO thin films. ZnO thin films were deposited by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) at various temperatures at from room temperature to $600^{\circ}C$. After that, post-annealing were performed at $600^{\circ}C$. To inspect the structural properties of the deposited ZnO thin films, X-ray diffraction (XRD) was carried out. For gas sensors, the morphology of the films is dominant factor since it is deeply related with the film surface area. Therefore, the atomic force microscopy (AFM) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) were used to observe the surface of the ZnO thin films. Furthermore, we analyzed the electrical properties by using a Hall measurement system.

FBW 항공기의 DDV 구동장치에 대한 운동특성 해석 (Analysis on the Dynamic Characteristics of a DDV Actuation System of a FBW Aircraft)

  • 본 논문은 선형 전기모터가 유압밸브 스풀(valve spool)을 직접 움직이는 직접구동밸브 (DDV: direct drive valve) 방식 유압서보 엑츄에이터의 제어 및 고장 모니터링에 관한 것이다. 유압서보 구동장치는 밸브 스풀을 통한 유량 흐름 특성으로 인하여 비선형 운동 특성을 갖게 된다. DDV 구동장치에 관한 비선형 운동 모델을 제시하고, 이를 선형화 시켜 DDV 구동장치의 제어계 및 고장 감지계 설계에 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 단순화된 선형 모델을 제시하였다. 한편, 조종면 구동 엑츄에이터가 만족시켜야 하는 성능 그리고 안전 작동에 관한 요구조건에 대하여 논의한 후, 이를 만족시키기 위한 제어계 및 고장 감지계의 구조에 대한 논의를 한다. 3중의 다중화 구조를 갖는 유압 DDV 구동장치의 운동 특성을 해석할 수 있는 수치해석 모델이 개발되었다.

  • Electrical equipment in factories, buildings, etc. with the development of the industry has become a large capacity. By the development, electric load also become diversified and there is also highly functional requirements being electrical equipment. Particularly in the small and medium-sized circuit breakers, tend to preferentially consider the economy stands out and improvements in safety, ease of mounting and connection through the modularity of the basic dimensions compact and cost to block expansion of the scope of the development of capacity, etc. The product having a competitive has been strongly required. In order to implement the circuit breakers of breaking capacity and compact at the same time taking into account the economic development of this technology applied to the current-limiting mechanism is essential budget or the current limiting mechanism is currently available mechanisms applicable to small and medium-sized frame (frame) can not do it. In this paper, at the same time satisfying the economic efficiency, by minimizing the load force of the moving contactor (moving contactor) to be applied to small and medium frame other hand to secure the economical efficiency without using high speed contact parting acceleration of the moving contactor conventional current-limiting mechanism, and to develop a current-limiting mechanism that can be satisfied with the same or higher performance to meet the needs of the market.

Hybrid III 5% 성인 여성 더미의 유한요소 모델 개발 (Development of Finite Element Model of Hybrid III 5th Percentile Female Dummy)

  • As the automobile industry is developing, the number of deaths and injuries has increased. To reduce the damages from automobile accidents, the government of each country proposes experimental conditions for reproducing the accident and establishes the vehicle safety regulations. Automotive manufacturers are trying to make safer vehicles by satisfying the requirements. The Hybrid III crash test dummy is a standard Anthropomorphic Test Device (ATD) used for measuring the occupant's injuries in a frontal impact test. Since a real crash test using a vehicle is fairly expensive, a computer simulation using the Finite Element Method (F.E.M.) is widely used. Therefore, a detailed and robust F.E. dummy model is needed to acquire more accurate occupant injury data and behavior during the crash test. To achieve this goal, a detailed F.E. model of the Hybrid III 5th percentile female dummy is constructed by using the reverse engineering technique in this research. A modeling process is proposed to construct the F.E. model. The proposed modeling process starts from disassembling the physical dummy. Computer Aided Design (CAD) geometry data is constructed by three-dimensional (3-D) scanning of the disassembled physical dummy model. Based on the geometry data, finite elements of each part are generated. After mesh generation, each part is assembled with other parts using the joints and rigid connection elements. The developed F.E. model of dummy is simulated based on the FMVSS 572 validation regulations. The results of simulation are compared with the results of physical tests.
