Modelling of On-Site Energy Consumption Profile in Construction Sites and a Case Study of Earth Moving

  • The annual expenditure on diesel oil and heavy oil in the construction sector is the second largest among all industrial sectors. According to the greenhouse reduction scheme of Korean Government, construction sector targeted 7.1% reduction by 2020. Although this target is not higher than other industrial sectors, it is not easy to achieve the reduction target without radical advance in technology, which cannot be expected to happen soon, considering the conservative characteristics of construction industry. Most researches on environmental issues focus on the issues related to energy saving matters during material production stage or maintenance stage, such as heating and insulation, and few deal with the issues directly related to the energy use in the construction sites. This research regards the operation of equipment for the on-site construction processes as a system and attempts to model the energy use processes related to the activities in construction sites, and provides simulation results of earth excavation and hauling processes. The result of this research is expected to aid construction planners estimating the time-based patterns of energy use and assessing greenhouse gas emission and to help selecting more energy efficient alternatives at the planning stage.

  • 국내외 매년 지속적으로 증가하는 대기오염의 상당량이 선박에서 배출되고 있으며, 이러한 선박에서의 배출량을 감축하기 위해 정부는 환경규제를 강화하고 해양대기환경 개선을 위해 「환경친화적 선박의 개발 및 보급 촉진에 관한 법률」을 제정 및 시행하여 친환경 에너지를 동력원으로 사용하는 환경친화적 선박을 보급하여 해양오염 저감 기술이 개발되도록 하고 있다. 환경친화적 선박의 기술은 최근 순수 전기추진 내지는 전기복합 추진체계까지 진화하고 있으나, 선박의 안전한 운용을 위한 검사 및 설비기준 등 관련제도의 정비는 이를 못 따라가는 실정으로, 특히 국내 연안선박의 다수를 차지하는 어선에 대한 제도는 정비가 시급한 시점이다. 이번 연구를 통해 어선에의 전기복합 추진체계 등의 적용을 위해 핵심기자재인 배터리, 전력변환장치 등을 정의하고 이에 필요한 안전기준을 진단, 마련하여 친환경 어선의 도입과 보급을 위해 관련된 산업을 지원할 수 있도록 최소한의 안전기준안을 마련하고자 한다.

  • Changing to a 24-hour urbanistic life style, a night time activities constituted for a major portion. Important of a beautiful exterior lighting as well as safety, and security concerns become increasingly. However, the removal or control of the excessive lighting is considered more important then increasing the brightness of the lamps to achieve bother safety and security. Representing a cheerful and leisure environment from the exterior lighting can also harmonize two aspects of energy saving and sustaining green environment. Designing of exterior lighting at the OO Agricultural & Fishery Circulation center symbolizes the suitability, convenience and production. It's design and analysis represent the optimum urban night time environment.

  • 에너지 생성에 따른 탄소배출문제로 국제 에너지 기구는 세계 주요국의 에너지 효율을 15~30[%]이상 향상시키도록 권고하고 있으며, 국내 에너지 정책 동향도 에너지 절감 및 탄소 배출에 대해 정부에서 인센티브 및 페널티 프로그램을 제고하는 방향으로 가고 있다. 각국의 산업 현장에서 유체 이송용 펌프가 전기에너지의 20[%]를 소비하고 있는 실정으로, 주요 에너지 낭비 요인으로는 장시간 운전에 따른 효율 저하, 부적절한 설계 및 설비 등이 있다. 이러한 낭비를 줄이기 위해 펌프의 효율을 측정하여 펌프의 운전 상태를 진단하고자, 본 논문에서는 열역학적 방법으로 온도와 압력센서만을 활용하여 펌프의 최고 효율점을 측정할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고 실제 펌프의 효율을 계산하여 펌프제조사에서 제공한 성능곡선과 비교한 결과 유사한 성능곡선을 얻어 그 유효성을 확인하였다.

都市 超高層 住居建築의 室內空氣環境의 評價에 관한 硏究 (A Study on the Evaluation of Indoor Air Environment in Super High-Rise Dwelling House)

  • The concept of dwelling space is tend to be changed not only to have reasonable mobility but also to have high quality of indoor air with psychologicaa satisfaction and comfortable. Moreover, recent constructed buildings have a big problem because of exhausted pollution gas and particles from building materials. More serious problem occurs from its high air tightness reducing the ventilation for saving the energy and superior adiabatic insulators to have high heat efficiency. Indoor air quality in super high-rise dwelling house was investigated by measuring pollutants such as $CO_2,=;CO,\;MO_2,\;R_n,\;TSP,\;PM_{10}$, HCHO, Offensive ordor. Subjective evaluation of residential environment is processed for the inhabitants who live in research space by testing environmental load in accordance with environment morphology, exterior environmental factor and post occupancy correlation and influence of attention.

  • Advanced EMU completed a production of test train, composed of 6 cars, after 5 years of development process, and it is currently under the process of integrated test and evaluation to inspect performance of car system, efficiency of transport, safety, punctuality, energy efficiency in accordance with urban railways act at Daebul test line. Advanced EMU was produced under consideration of transportation capacity, maintainability, reliability, energy saving, convenience of passengers, and traffic-vulnerables, so it has an epochal difference from former EMU system. And advanced EMU assures operation management from manager's perspective and efficiency of maintenance for practicalization of car and individual equipment. This paper introduces each major equipment of advanced EMU which is based on many years of experience of management and maintenance.

  • The Objective of advanced EMU Project is development of new technologies, that can resolve the system problems of conventional EMU, for reducing vehicle maintenance, improving passenger's service using IT and providing environmental friendly. As a concept of advanced EMU, We will develop the DDM with individual driving wheel for reducing of maintenance cost and full-electric braking system without pneumatic braking, and a new bogie for loadable DDM, and pre-diagnosis system which informs possible system error, and decentralization of vehicle control. To improve transport reliability, and energy storage system for saving energy, and fallen passenger detection system for improving passenger's safety at the platform.

  • This study is to research application cases of domestic ventilation system for developing ventilation system which is energy-saving and improve Indoor Air Quality and to research application possibility of foreign hybrid ventilation system.   • The use of tailor welded blanks(TWB) in automotive applications is increasing due to the potential of weight and cost saving In this study, the front side member of passenger car is developed by typical analysis and crash simulations. According this results, energy absorption and barrier force is very important to control passenger safety and deformation shape. For that purpose, it is most effective to absorb energy more tailor welded blanks front side member than non-twb. The front side member with twb is simulated, in which reduced stamping parts, weight reduction and cost down.
