주요 5종의 농작물 중 butachlor의 잔류 monitoring (Monitoring Survey of the Herbicide Butachlor in Five Major Crops)

  • 수도용 제초제 butachlor의 작물잔류성을 조사할 목적으로 주산단지 및 광주, 대구, 부산지역의 시장에서 쌀, 보리, 마늘 양파, 딸기 등 106점의 시료를 채취하여 잔류량을 분석하였다. 제초제 butachlor가 등록되어 있는 작물의 수확물 중 쌀 27점과 보리 15점에서 butachlor가 검출되지 않았으며, 또한 벼 재배 후 이모작으로 재배되는 작물인 마늘21점, 양파 18점, 딸기 18점에서도 검출되지 않았다.

  • 항공관제시스템은 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 공항 운영을 위해 절대적으로 높은 신뢰성이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 서버 워크스테이션과 네트워크를 포함하는 ATM 하드웨어 시스템의 신뢰성을 분석하였다. 구체적으로 하드웨어 신뢰성 평가에 자주 사용되는 신뢰도 불록도(Reliability Block Diagram)와 고장수목분석법(Fault Tree Analysis)을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 실험은 Relex 사의 Reliability Studio를 이용하여 ATM 하드웨어 시스템의 신뢰도를 예측하였다.

  • In this paper, developed a uninterruptible hotline tools and method for replacement of strain pole crossarm on overhead distribution line. For practical use of developed tools, following direct hot-line methods were proposed: 'Direct hot-lire method for replacement of pin pole crossarm', 'Direct hot-line method for alteration of crossarm' and 'Crossarm replacement method in uninterruptible cable displacement area'. These methods were proposed more simple and safe working on hotline job.

  • Urban railway signaling system is for train operation with safety in the urban crowded area, that has been increasing the demand of use of advanced train control systems with safe. European Commission is supporting the UGTMS(Urban Guided Transport Management System) project for the research and development. The main objective of UGTMS is to provide the European urban guided transport sector (comprising metro, tram and light rail systems) with a common Management System. A key topic is the extent to which the specifications for the successful ERTMS(European Rail Transport Management System) can be adapted to UGTMS needs. Beyond this, it is necessary to define the relevant functional and system requirements for all types of urban guided transport management systems in order to improve interoperability and intermodality. Also to be explored are the prospects for open system standards. In this article, we look into the trend of the standardization through the UGTMS project in Europe and consider any benefit to the project of the standardization for the urban railway signaling system in Korea.

Digital map arrangement of Hamamatsu City for the prediction and restoration of the earthquake disasters

  • The purpose of this study is to arrange the digital maps of Hamamatsu City and to construct the map information system to support the prediction and restoration of Tokai earthquake disasters. The authors arrange the land condition map and compute the populations of each land surface conditions and revealed that $37\%$ of the whole population lives in the safe land, but $63\%$ lives in the rather unsafe surface condition. The authors also arrange the digital map of the main lines of water supply pipe lines in corporation with the Hamamatsu City Water Supply Department and revealed the rather dangerous pipe line area in case of Tokai earthquake.

갑상선 분화암에서 로봇을 이용한 측경부 림프절 절제술 (Robotic Lateral Compartment Selective Neck Dissection in Well-Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma)

  • Robotic thyroidectomy has been developed to minimize neck scarring, and several authors have described its feasibility and safety, and have reported surgical outcomes comparable with conventional open thyroidectomy. The da Vinci surgical system robot provides a three-dimensional $10-12{\times}$magnified view of the surgical area. It also provides hand-tremor filtration, fine motion scaling, and precise and multi-articulated hand-like motions. Recently, robotic technology has also been applied to lateral compartment neck dissection in thyroid cancer. We have developed a new novel selective neck dissection procedure by a gasless unilateral axillo-breast (GUAB) approach with a da Vinci Surgical System for well-differentiated thyroid carcinoma to avoid a long visible neck scar. Based on our early experience, robotic selective neck dissection by GUAB approach is a safe, feasible and cosmetically excellent procedure. It can be an alternative to conventional open surgery in the highly selected patients with well-differentiated thyroid carcinoma. The oncologic safety of robotic selective neck dissection should be verified with long-term follow-up data.

튜브 인발공정시 압하량 배분에 관한 연구 (A Study on Reduction Distribution in Tube Drawing Process)

  • In general, tube drawing process is composed of two steps, so called first drawing and second drawing. Drawing cracks are mainly occurred during the 2nd drawing process due to the improper drawing process. In order to analyze the reduction distribution in successive two-step drawing process, tube drawing process was simulated by finite element method. From the finite element analysis, the balance between first and second reduction is proved to be important factor to prevent drawing cracks. Hence the numerical expression was developed for tube drawing process to distribute even strain and criteria curves that can predict the safe drawing region were also proposed using this numerical formula.

  • This research developed a method for the estimation of groundwater recharge by yielding daily soil moisture content and watershed evapotranspiration from the water balance concept of the unsaturated and saturated layers in rainfall-runoff model called DAWAST. The goal of the research is to estimate the groundwater recharge fulfilling conditions of the safe discharge for any season. To meet this goal, the data of groundwater level and stream flow rate have been monitored in a study area and used to validate the model.

화방 정찰 체계에서의 다수의 이동 로봇을 위한 시간 효율적인 경로 계획 알고리즘에 대한 연구 (Time-Efficient Trajectory Planning Algorithms for Multiple Mobile Robots in Nuclear/Chemical Reconnaissance System)

  • Since nuclear and chemical materials could damage people and disturb battlefield missions in a wide region, nuclear/chemical reconnaissance systems utilizing multiple mobile robots are highly desirable for rapid and safe reconnaissance. In this paper, we design a nuclear/chemical reconnaissance system including mobile robots. Also we propose time-efficient trajectory planning algorithms using grid coverage and contour finding methods for reconnaissance operation. For grid coverage, we performed in analysis on time consumption for various trajectory patterns generated by straight lines and arcs. We proposed BCF (Bounded Contour Finding) and BCFEP (Bounded Contour Finding with Ellipse Prediction) algorithms for contour finding. With these grid coverage and contour finding algorithms, we suggest trajectory planning algorithms for single, two or four mobile robots. Various simulations reveal that the proposed algorithms improve time-efficiency in nuclear/chemical reconnaissance missions in the given area. Also we conduct basic experiments using a commercial mobile robot and verify the time efficiency of the proposed contour finding algorithms.

  • Dynamic numerical analyses were performed to investigate the response of liquefaction remediation of rammed aggregate piers(RAP) on soft ground under free strain conditions. The safe factors of the soft ground reinforced by RAP during seismic loading of magnitude 6.5 were calculated. The results of simulation showed that factors of safety were affected various area replacement ratios, surcharge loads and depth of RAP systems.
