In 2014, Seongnam municipal government announced Sanseongro Commercial Area Revitalization including Dandae traditional market with active support of Seongnam municipal government. This study investigated conversion of Dandae market into specialized market to overcome economic stagnation and to make success case of wedding market. The study suggested supplementation of current problems as well as incidental businesses. The study gave SWOT analysis and management reformation to make success case of specialized market and to suggest win-win strategies and development plans to produce wedding market.

Recently, the Ministry of Construction and Transportation announced a notice of the legislation related to remove the restriction of construction market activation in advance. he removement is an overwhelming change of the business structure in the Korean construction industry and has a far-reaching influence on general and trade contractors. The purpose of this research was to suggest improvement factors to survive an excessive competition in reinforced concrete market. This research did SWOT analysis to examine the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of reinforced concrete firm, and established business strategies. The factor analysis was also applied with questionnaire survey to staff in charge of reinforced concrete company. It is expected that the suggested improvement factors can give effective business strategies to reinforced concrete firm. Furthermore, trade contractors having difficulty in a bottleneck in management can get help from the result of this research.

Internet of Things (IoT) has been established in various industries and IoT technology is highlighted as a new value creation technology. Especially, Korean government has launched Manufacturing Innovation 3.0 Strategy for developing Smart Factory concept to improve national and corporate's competitiveness. This study tries to present new industry classification scheme considering 10 national key manufacturing industries. Based on the new scheme, 10 national main forces industries are categorized into 6 segments. We have conducted SWOT analysis to comprehend Korean IoT environment. Based on the analysis, we have positioned 6 segments at the strategic decision-making grid to analyze industries' IoT practical usage.

In this study, climate change considerations are an important measure to create a resilient city that conforms to the principle of sustainable development that balances the economic, social and environmental harmony of a country or city and can preserve its size, function and characteristics to the maximum extent possible. In this regard, the public transportation system being built and operated in Dublin City, Ireland, illustrates the city's system through green traffic. Therefore, based on the urban-based conditions equipped by Dublin, Ireland, in that Dublin is realizing preemptive mass-traffic-oriented urban development (TOD) considering climate change, the purpose of the study was to classify the methods of research as internal (strong and weak) and external (opportunity and threat) factors through SWOT analysis and to present mass-oriented urban development strategies and policy implications.

The purpose of this study is to build new management strategy of special libraries in the field of science and technologies. Though information service of digital libraries were developed very much due to IT technologies, management condition of special libraries is getting more worse. Immediate cause of this problem is absence of management strategies which were veiled by IT panacea. In order to overcome this problem, this study looks into the internal and external environment change which are surrounded by special libraries. And also examined procedures and method of environment analysis which is needed to build management strategies. As the result of research, this study analyze internal and external environment by SWOT analysis method, and finally propose new management strategies.

The Hunchun area is the only development and opening line in Jilin Province and the Changchun-Jilin-Tumen Developmental Plan area, and as a hub area for regional logistics, promoting the logistics competitiveness of the Hunchun area is an important factor in promoting economic development in the Northeast region. The purpose of this study is to derive the factors for activating logistics competitiveness in Hunchun area by applying SWOT analysis and to present them to policy-makers by drawing priority of factors for promoting logistics competitiveness in Hunchun area through AHP survey of Chinese and Korean logistics experts. According to the analysis, the weighting was high in order of opportunity factors and strength factors, and the priority was high in order of factors such as promotion and expansion of One Belt, One Road policies, active support through national policies, construction of international logistics center cities, construction of logistics centers, and supply of bulk cargo. Finally, from a comprehensive perspective, this study presented policy implications such as SO Strategy (Strength-Occupancy Strategy) and ST Strategy (Strength-War Strategy) focusing on the strengths of the Hunchun Region for the strategy of strengthening the logistics competitiveness of the Hunchun area.

The purpose of this study is to forecast the ship-management market size and to propose a management improvement scheme to support Korean ship management companies in the stagnating world shipping market. Recently, global shipping companies have begun outsourcing all ship management activities. However, the Korean ship-management market represents just 3.75% of ocean shipping companies' sales, making it necessary to enlarge this market. This study performs a business analysis of ship management companies in Korea. The findings show that these companies' profitability and financial structures are not very good, mainly because of insufficient management ability and small firm sizes. Therefore, we propose that the Korean government supports crew training programs and shipping financial systems.
