The purpose of this research is to identify the effectiveness of injection with soil conditions by injecting CaCO3(created by microorganism reaction), which was recreated with equipment in similar situ condition. To analyze our research, we made 2 cases of single-layer (SP, SW) in D 150mm ${\times}$ H 300mm. Layers were made by RC 70, 80, 85, 90, 95% of soil condition. We measured uniaxial compression strength with cone penetrometer and watched injection range by checking a bulb formation around the injection nozzle. As a result, the relative compaction(RC) in more 85% were not injected in SW, we could identify the effect of bio-grouting technology on ground in relative compaction(RC) of injection ratio and cementation range.

In this study, we investigated the effect of seaweed (SW) addition on the anaerobic digestion of food waste (FW). Anaerobic batch experiments were carried out at various substrate concentrations (2.5 to 10.0 g VS/L) and mixing ratios (FW:SW=100:0, 75:25, 50:50, 25:75 and 0:100 on VS basis) of FW and SW. The methane yield of FW alone was 394, 377, 276, $49mL\;CH_4/g\;VS_{added}$ at each substrate concentration (2.5 to 10.0 g VS/L). In cases of co-digestion, methane yield decreased (up to 15 %) with increasing mixing ratio of SW at low substrate concentration (2.5 to 5.0 g VS/L), while it increased (up to 240 %) at high substrate concentration (7.5 to 10.0 g VS/L). The synergistic effect was calculated based on the amount of methane generated from the single-feedstock digestion of FW and SW. The synergistic effect was not found at 2.5 and 5.0 g VS/L. However, the synergistic effect increased (up to 25% = synergistic increment/total methane production at 10.0 g VS/L, FW:SW=50:50) with increasing the ratio of seaweed at 7.5 and 10.0 g VS/L. At 10.0 g VS/L of FW alone, the accumulated amount of organic acids was 7,426 mg COD/L, which was decreased to 2,346 mg COD/L by seaweed (FW:SW=50:50) addition. The reason for the synergistic effect was to control the production rate of the organic acids by adding SW that has a relatively lower biodegradability compared to FW.

Drying behavior and physical properties of HwBKP, SwBKP, and OCC handsheets depending on kneading, refining and wet pressing were analyzed. The maximum drying shrinkage velocity was newly adopted to verify the effect of mechanical treatment of pulps by evaluating drying behavior according to varying the kneading, refining and wet pressing treatments. Those various treatments were changed to evaluate the relationship between the maximum drying shrinkage velocity and handsheets properties. When the drying shrinkage and the maximum drying velocity increased by refining and wet-pressing, handsheets strength was increased. The maximum drying shrinkage velocity showed higher correlation with physical properties of paper than WRV at different refining loads at SwBKP and mixed pulp. At high wet-web dryness, drying shrinkage, the maximum drying shrinkage velocity and strength properties of handsheet were increased. It meant that drying shrinkage behavior was highly affected by not only fibers' shrinkage but also fiber bonding. Kneading pre-treatment for KOCC and SwBKP effectively modified fiber properties and increasing paper strength and drying shrinkage. The effect of kneading pre-treatment was also confirmed by the maximum drying shrinkage velocity. Strength properties of mixed pulp handsheets were not increased by the kneading pre-treatment, although the maximum drying shrinkage velocity and WRV was increased. It meant that fibers network bonding of HwBKP was limited because of ves sels and ray cells' interference for bonding. Therefore in order to improve paper strengths containing HwBKP by mechanical treatments, interference of vessels and ray cells for fiber bondings should be carefully controlled.

Recently, with the development of mobile communication technologies such as 5G, interest in oscilloscope technology based on high bandwidth and user-friendly UI is increasing. In this paper, we proposed a Python-based UI(user interface) SW for a high-bandwidth digital oscilloscope in connection with the study of a 13GHz band digital oscilloscope system. The proposed UI SW is designed not only to be executed integrally with the oscilloscope, but also to be run on a separate PC or laptop cooperating with the instrument through WiFi communication. Functions of the UI SW consists of displaying and analyzing signal data, storing signal data in an external storage device, generating test signal data, and reconfiguring the toolbar. Finally, we have shown that the proposed digital oscilloscope system operates normally by interworking test with the signal generator.
In knowledge based society, information technology (IT) has been playing a key role in economic growth. In recent years, it is surprisingly notable that the source of value creation moved from hardware to software in IT industry. Especially, among many kinds of software products, the economic potential of open source was realized by many government agencies. Open source means software codes made by voluntary and open participation of worldwide IT developers, and many policies to promote open source activities were implemented for the purpose of fast growth in IT industry. But in many cases, especially in Korea, the policies promoting open source industry and its ecosystem were not considered successful. Therefore, this study provides the practical reasons for the low performance of Korean open source industry and suggests the pragmatic requisites for effective open source policy. For this purpose, this study applies soft system model (SSM) which is frequently used in academy and industry as a methodology for problem-solving and we link the problems with corresponding policy solutions based on SSM. Given concerns which Korean open source faces now, this study suggests needs for the three different kinds of government policies promoting multiple dimensions of industry: research and development (R&D)-side, supply-side, and computing environment-side. The implications suggested by this research will contribute to implement the practical policy solutions to boost open source industry in Korea.
In this study, problems of software completeness appraisal are pointed out and their solutions are presented by analyzing appraisal cases and judicial precedents. Completeness appraisal, ready-made appraisal, defect appraisal, and cost appraisal have been classified as and have been evaluated with extant software completeness appraisals. From a legal point of view, and in judicial precedents, however, there is a big difference between the definition of completeness and the completion rate. This is because the degree of completeness is evaluated under the premise that the software's development is complete, whereas the ready-made appraisal inspects the development progress of unfinished software. Often, in cases involving software completion rate, the total completion level is calculated by weighting each step of the software development process. However, completeness evaluations use the software's realization-operation as its sole criterion. In addition, another issue not addressed in existing software completeness appraisal cases is that there is no mention of who is responsible for software defects, whereas in case law, the responsible party is determined by finding who caused the dispute. In this paper, we systematically classify these problems, and present a novel evaluation method that separates software completeness evaluations from software completion evaluations.

Orostachys japonicus (OJ) is a medicinal herb with immunoregulatory, anti-aging, anti-oxidative, and many other therapeutic properties. The purpose of this study was to elucidate the anti-cancer property of cultivated OJ. SW480 cell viability was significantly reduced by cumulative exposure to OJ extract. We also observed inhibitory effects of OJ after 72 hr through the growth and migration of SW480 cells using scratch assay. SW480 cells in OJ-free medium began to move into the scratch site at 24 hr; however, cells in medium containing OJ did not migrate into the scratch site until 48 hr. Male C57BL/6 mice (4 weeks old) were orally administered OJ extract for 31 days before injection of SW480 cells. At 7, 14, and 28 days after subcutaneous injection of SW480 cells, tumor weight and volume were analyzed. The body weight of the OJ-treated group was continuously increased during administration of the OJ extract relative to the control group. Injection of SW480 cells caused a reduction in body weight in all groups; however, the OJ-treated group exhibited a significant increase in body weight after 14 days. Tumor weight and volume were lower in the OJ-treated group than in the control group after 28 days. Although these results suggest that OJ suppresses the proliferation and migration of human colon cancer cells, additional studies are required to provide preclinical evidence before launching clinical trials evaluating OJ as an anti-cancer biohealth product.

Smart TV is expected to bring cloud services based on virtualization technologies to the home environment with hardware and software support. Although most physical resources can be shared among virtual machines (VMs) using a time sharing approach, allocating the proper amount of memory to VMs is still challenging. In this paper, we propose a novel mechanism to dynamically balance the memory allocation among VMs in virtualized Smart TV systems. In contrast to previous studies, where a virtual machine monitor (VMM) is solely responsible for estimating the working set size, our mechanism is symbiotic. Each VM periodically reports its memory usage pattern to the VMM. The VMM then predicts the future memory demand of each VM and rebalances the memory allocation among the VMs when necessary. Experimental results show that our mechanism improves performance by up to 18.28 times and reduces expensive memory swapping by up to 99.73% with negligible overheads (0.05% on average).
The task of chemical spraying has been seriously considered as an irritating and annoying job for Korean rice farmers. An agricultural unmanned helicopter was suggested to solve this problem so as the farmers to have more decent farming condition. The objectives of this study were to analyze the adoptability of an experimental rotor blade (SW05) using the CFD simulation and also to compare the simulation results with experimental results. The simulation results showed that the induced power of this rotor reached to $57{\sim}63%$ of total power and the profile power was about $37{\sim}43%$ of total power. Therefore it can be concluded that this rotor's performance characteristics were not so efficient for the size of unmanned helicopter due to the low induced power and high profile power relatively compared with ones of conventional rotors. The comparison with experimental results showed that the tested lifts were less than 70% of simulated ones at the grip pitch of $12^{\circ}$ and decreased to 40% at the $18^{\circ}$ grip pitch. Therefore, it can be concluded that the rotor was too oversized to be used for a 15.4 kW (21 PS) engine.
