대퇴사두근에 키네시오 테이핑 적용이 보행특성에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Kinesio Taping on the Quadriceps Femoris to the Gait Characteristics)

  • Background : The purpose of present study was to investigate the effect of quadriceps femoris taping in normal gait using 3D motion capture technique. Method : Twenty healthy volunteers, have no musculoskeletal problems, were recruited as subjects for this study. In experimental group, 20 healthy young(males 10 and females 10) were included. The subjects were assessed during two conditions: control tape(no muscle stretched) and quadriceps (muscle stretched)taping application. To obtain the dynamic data, we captured the motion of subject attached markers without taping during repeated gaits five times or more in 7 m Capture volume of gait analysis center. The result was obtained as a mean value in three times. After taping on quadriceps femoris, the same procedure was carried out. Statistical analysis were performed using statistical software packagess SPSS WIN 12.0(SPSS, Chicago, IL, USA). Differences were tested for statistical significance using paired t-test, independent t-test, chi-squared test for comparisons between the muscle stretched and no muscle stretched. Results : The date of 20 subjects who carried out the whole experimental course were statistically analyzed. 1. gait velocity was showed that muscle stretched group had more significantly increased than no muscle stretched group(p<.05). 2. step length was showed that muscle stretched group had more significantly increased than no muscle stretched group(p<.05). 3. cadens was showed that muscle stretched group had more significantly increased than no muscle stretched group(p<.05). Conclusion : kinesio taping on quadriceps femoris promoted cadence, gait velocity, step length in normal subject (muscle stretched) group.

Endovascular Rescue Method for Undesirably Stretched Coil

  • Undesirable detachment or stretching of coils within the parent artery during aneurysm embolization can be related with thrombus formation, which can be caused occlusion of parent artery or embolic event(s). To escape from this situation, several rescue methods have been reported. A case with undesirably stretched coil in which another rescue method was used, is presented. When the stretched coil is still located in the coil delivery microcatheter, the stretched coil can be removed safely using a snare and a handmade monorail microcatheter. After a snare is lodged in the handmade monorail microcatheter, the snare is introduced over the coil delivery micorcatheter and located in the distal part of the stretched coil. After then, the handmade monorail microcatheter captures the stretched coil and the snare as one unit. This technique using a handmade monorail microcatheter and a snare can be a good rescue modality for the undesirably stretched coil, still remained within the coil delivery microcatheter.

강직 전 쇠고기 등심근의 신장(伸張)과 온도처리가 근절길이 및 연도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Stretching and Temperature of Pre-rigor M. Longissimus on Sarcomere Length and Tenderness of Beef)

  • 사후강직 전 쇠고기 등심근의 신장처리와 온도처리가 근절길이 및 연도에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과, 근육의 pH는 신장처리와 온도처리에 의해 영향을 받지 않았지만 육즙 감량은 $10^{\circ}C$ 신장처리구가 $0^{\circ}C$ 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 낮았고, 가열 감량은 $0^{\circ}C$ 신장처리구가 $0^{\circ}C$ 대조구보다 유의적으로 높았다. 근절길이는 $10^{\circ}C$ 신장처리구가 $0^{\circ}C$ 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 길었고, 그 결과 전단가도 $10^{\circ}C$ 신장처리구가 $0^{\circ}C$ 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 낮았다. 뿐만 아니라 관능검사 결과, $10^{\circ}C$ 신장처리구가 $0^{\circ}C$ 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 높은 연도, 풍미 및 전체적인 기호성 만족도 점수를 얻었다. 이 같은 결과는 사후강직 전 쇠고기 등심근을 발골하여 $10^{\circ}C$에서 7시간동안 신장시킨 후 냉장보관하면, 곧바로 냉장 보관한 것과 비교하여 긴 근절길이와 연한 쇠고기를 얻을 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 그러나 육의 안전성 확보를 위해 이러한 조건에서 냉장보관동안 미생물의 변화 과정에 대한 연구가 향후 필요하리라 사료된다.

Stretched-Exponential 형태의 문턱전압 이동 모델의 SPICE구현 (Implementation of Stretched-Exponential Time Dependence of Threshold Voltage Shift in SPICE)

  • Threshold voltage shift occurring during operation is implemented in a SPICE simulation tool. Among the shift models the stretched-exponential function model, which is frequently observed from both single-crystal silicon and thin-film transistors regardless of the nature of causes, is selected, adapted to transient simulation, and added to BSIM4 developed by BSIM Research Group at the University of California, Berkeley. The adaptation method used in this research is to select degradation and recovery models based on the comparison between the gate and threshold voltages. The threshold voltage shift is extracted from SPICE transient simulation and shows the stretched-exponential time dependence for both degradation and recovery situations. The implementation method developed in this research is not limited to the stretched-exponential function model and BSIM model. The proposed method enables to perform transient simulation with threshold voltage shift in situ and will help to verify the reliability of a circuit.

  • 본 연구에서는 구조물 경량화재료로서 변형거동이 현저히 다른 마르텐사이트 와 페라이트로 이루어진 복합조직강의 파괴인성에 관한 기본적 자료를 얻기 위하여 이 강을 모델재로서 준비하고 균열선단에서의 미시파괴기구 및 JSME Sool의 평가법을 이 용한 파괴인성에 대하여 검토하였다.

신.구형도마에서 1/1Turn, Stretched, Tucked 기술수행 시 운동역학적 분석 (Comparative Analysis of Biomechanical Factors in Performing Techniques of 1/1Turn, Stretched, and Tucked on the Old Vaulting Horse and the New Vaulting Table)

  • The aim of this study was to find out the differences of biomechanical factors from touching down the vaulting board to landing when techniques of 1/1Turn, stretched, and Tucked were performed on the old vaulting horse and on the new vaulting table. Three national representative men gymnasts were sampled for this study. Three dimension motion analyses by means of six Sony PD-150 video cameras with the velocity of 60 fps were used. As a result of analyzing the kinetic data from two kind of vaulting table, the following conclusions were made. 1. There was not significant differences of angular momentum between the old and the new vaulting table in all three techniques except the phase of stepping on the vaulting board and contacting the vaulting horse in the Tucked technique. IN the two phases above, the angular momentum in the new vaulting table was greater than that of the old vaulting horse. 2. There were few significant differences between the old and the new vaulting horses in the horizontal and vertical reaction force according to techniques when stepping was performed. However, it appeared tendency that the horizontal and vertical reaction force in the new vaulting table was a little greater than that of the old vaulting horse when the 1/1Turn, the Stretched and the Tucked were performed.

스트레치성 실크직물 제조에 관한 연구(I) -커버링사 공정 조건의 영향- (A Study on the Manufacturing of Stretch Silk Fabrics (I) - Effect of Processing Condition of Covered Yarn -)

  • Silk fabrics are very popular and widely used because of their elegant appearance. However, silk fabrics generally have easy wrinkle, and do not stretch and deform permanently after machine washing. Then the stretched properties of silk fabrics are important for the application of industrial textile materials such as formal and sports wear. Thus, this research surveys the covering, weaving and degumming conditions for stretched silk fabrics. As a result, yarn breaking stress was reduced with increasing spindle speed, and the yarn twists were optimized under the covering condition of polyurethane/silk with PVA pretreatment. In addition, the shrinkage of the silk fabrics treated with star degumming process was reduced by continuous NaOH degumming process. The fabrics showed the fabric physical properties with optimum stretched properties and evenness surfaces.

기술처치에 의한 철봉 Tkatchev stretched 동작의 사례연구 (A Case Study of Tkatchev stretched Motion by Technical Feedback in Horizontal Bars)

  • 본 연구는 세계적인 경쟁력을 보유하고 있는 철봉종목의 국가대표 K선수를 대상으로 기술분석을 통해 고난도 기술인 Tkatrhev skekhed 동작의 완성도를 높임으로서 경기력 향상에 도움을 주고자 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 Tkatchev stretched 동작의 1차 분석을 통해 기술훈련방법의 피드백을 8주간 제공 한 후 반복적인 분석을 통해 기술의 완성도를 평가하였다. K선수의 1차 Tkatchev stretched 동작은 비행높이가 낮고, 비행 중 신체가 굴곡되어 있으며, 봉잡기 시 신체중심의 위치가 바로 부터 너무 멀고 낮아 낙히의 염려가 있을 뿐만 아니라 후속기술을 위한 역동성을 기대하기가 어려운 단점이 노출되었다. 이 같은 단점을 극복하기 위하여 준비국면인 크게 휘돌기의 하강 시 견관절 각을 빠르게 신전시키고, 고관절의 각운동을 이용한 Tap 동작을 짧고 간결하게 하게 하였다. 또한 몸을 접어주는 Tap 타이밍을 조금 늦추며, 다리를 차내며 신체를 역회전시킬 때 견관절의 각운동을 크게 사용하면서 신체를 충분히 끌어 올리는 연습을 주 5회(오전/오후) 총 7시간의 연습 시간 중 20분씩 8주간(총 800분)을 반복적으로 실시하였다. 그 결과 비록 봉 이탈 순간 수직상승속도의 증가를 이루지는 못하였지만 비행높이가 증가되어 고관절을 신전시키고도 철봉에 다리가 걸리지 않으며 뛰어넘을 수 있게 되어 동작의 웅대함을 제공함으로서 감점요소를 0.2점 제거할 수 있었다.

Sputter Etching한 Poly(ethylene terrephthalate)와 Nylon 6 Film의 표면특성 (Surface Characteristics of Sputter Etched Poly(ethylene terephthalate) and Nylon 6 Films)

  • Poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET) and nylon 6 films stretched uniaxially and biaxially were sputter etched in the presence of argon gas. The surface of the etched films was investigated using a scanning electron microscope(SEM). While cracks perpendicular to the stretched direction were observed in the uniaxil stretched films sputter etched for 30 min., many protrusions were formed in the biaxial stretched films at the height of 0.3-0.4 gm for PET and $0.1-0.2\mum$ for nylon 6. The tops of two or three protrusions merged etching time increased to 60 min. The contact angle to water of the sputter etched PET and nylon 6 films decreased steeply when etched for one to 3 min. In order to investigate chemical changes on the surface ESCA analysis was carried out. In both films sputter etched $C_{1s}$ intensity decreased and $O_{1s}$ intensity increased compared with the unetched ones.

Response of masticatory muscles to passive stretch stimulus - from perspectives of functional appliances

  • Objective: The aims of this study were to examine whether a passive stretch stimulus by means of a functional appliance induces changes in the fiber composition of masticatory muscles and whether these changes are similar to the changes in stretched limb muscle fibers by using RT-PCR, western blot, and immunohistochemical assays. Methods: Five male New Zealand White rabbits were fitted with a prefabricated inclined plane on the maxillary central incisors to force the mandible forward (- 2 mm) and downward (- 4 mm). Further, 1 hind limb was extended and constrained with a cast so that the extensor digitorum longus (EDL) was stretched when the animal used the limb. The animals were sacrificed aft er 1 week and the masseter, lateral pterygoid, and EDL were processed and compared with those from control animals (n = 3). Results: The stretched EDL had a significantly higher percentage of slow fibers, whereas the stretched masticatory muscles did not show changes in the composition of the major contractile proteins aft er 7 days. Conclusions: The transition of fiber phenotypes in response to a stretch stimulus may take longer in the masticatory muscles than in the limb muscles.
