Based on the observation that ignoring the angle dependency of multigroup resonance cross sections within a fuel pellet would result in nontrivial underestimation of the spatial self-shielding of flux, a parametrized spectral superhomogenization (SPH) factor library (PSSL) method is developed as a practical means of resolving the problem. Region-wise spectral SPH factors are calculated by the normal and transport corrected SPH iterations after ultrafine group slowing down calculations over various light water reactor pin-cell configurations. The parametrization is done with fuel temperature, U-238 number density, fuel radius, moderator source represented by ${\Sigma}_{mod}V_{mod}$, and the number density ratio of resonance nuclides to that of U-238 in a form of resonance interference correction factors. The parametrization is successful in that the root mean square errors of the interpolated SPH factors over the fuel regions of various pin-cells are within 0.1%. The improvement in reactivity error of the PSSL method is shown to be superior to that by the original SPH method in that the reactivity bias of -200 pcm to -300 pcm vanishes almost completely. It is demonstrated that the environment effect takes only about 4% in the reactivity improvement so that the pin-cell based PSSL method is effective in the assembly problems.

Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method has a good adaptability for the simulation of free surface flow problems. There are two forms of SPH. One is weak compressible SPH and the other one is incompressible SPH (ISPH). Compared with the former one, ISPH method performs better in many cases. ISPH based on Rankine source solution can perform better than traditional ISPH, as it can use larger stepping length by avoiding the second order derivative in pressure Poisson equation. However, ISPH_R method needs to solve the sparse linear matrix for pressure Poisson equation, which is one of the most expensive parts during one time stepping calculation. Iterative methods are normally used for solving Poisson equation with large particle numbers. However, there are many iterative methods available and the question for using which one is still open. In this paper, three iterative methods, CGS, Bi-CGstab and GMRES are compared, which are suitable and typical for large unsymmetrical sparse matrix solutions. According to the numerical tests on different cases, still water test, dam breaking, violent tank sloshing, solitary wave slamming, the GMRES method is more efficient than CGS and Bi-CGstab for ISPH method.
There was to purpose of this study improves analyzing cause that prosthesis brings bite engaging that is inaccurate in patient's mouth, when supposed that all conducts that do in operatory and dental laboratory are perfect. Impression did check bite by alginate impression material and polymerization style silicon impression material that use usually in presence at a sickbed Irreversibility, hydrocolloid, alginate impression material washed in flowing water and poured anhydrite after wait about 8 minutes so that region that charge interest after impression check bite may become undoing. And hydrophile property addition polymerization style impression material poured anhydrite after blow 30 considering impression material dwell time and H2 gas occurrence time (5~15 minute) after have washed in flowing water. I got each 7 models, result that manufactures total 28 and measures by third dimension measuring instrument (Meteo, Korea) following sequence curing in tray holder and floor 1, By Alginate impression when is hardened in tray holder and when is hardened in the floor after do check bite, SPH 4, SPH5 all as there is synonymy appeared(P<0.05). By in case do not use average 0.1741 in case use tray holder in 0.0447 SPH5s in case do not use average 0.2838 pastas in case use tray holder in SPH4 0.0309, When did not use both SPH4 and SPH5 tray holder, when used tray holder, 1 appeared more greatly. 2. By amity sex addition polymerization style silicon impression when is hardened in tray holder after do check bite and when is hardened in the floor SPH 4, a11 of the SPH5s very big synonymy be(P>0.05). And in case use tray holder in 0.000657 pasta SPH5s in case do not use average 0.000129 pastas in case use tray holder in SPH4 average 0.000114 pastas, by in case do not use 0.000757, I appeared more greatly when used tray when did not use both SPH4 and SPH5 tray holder, but 1 appeared is not level to keep in mind(Table 8~9). 3 SPH4 was looked very big mindfulness in model that manufacture doing impression check bite by Alginate and model that do impression check bite by amity sex accessory penalty silicon without using tray holder(P< 0.001). I use tray holder and SPH4 did not appear synonymy in model that manufacture doing impression check bite by Alginate and model that do impression check bite by amity sex accessory penalty silicon(P>0.05). Study finding of above when see synthesis Alginate certainly tray holder use must and I could know that hardening method does not exert big influence on volume stability if remove impression sieve of excess because amity sex accessory penalty silicon passes over tray, Also, Alginate impression material previewed can get heading a conspiracy style that volume stability of accessory penalty silicon impression material degree is if use tray holder.
In this study, a new method for treating the wall boundary in smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) is proposed to simulate free surface flows effectively. Unlike conventional methods of wall boundary treatment through boundary particles, in the proposed method, the wall boundary condition is directly imposed by adding boundary truncation terms to the mass and momentum conservation equations. Thus, boundary particles are not used in boundary modeling. Doing so, the wall boundary condition is accurately imposed, boundary modeling is simplified, and computation is made efficient without losing stability in SPH. Performance of the proposed method is demonstrated through several numerical examples: dam break, dam break with a wedge, sloshing, inclined bed, cross-lever rotation, pulsating tank and sloshing with a flexible baffle. These results are compared with available experimental results, analytical solutions, and results obtained using the boundary particle method.
This paper shows how to formulate the transient analysis of 2-dimensional Hagen-Poiseuille flow using smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH). Treatments of viscosity, particle approximation and boundary conditions are explained. Numerical tests are calculated to examine effects caused by the number of particles, the number of particles per smoothing length, artificial viscosity and time increments for 2-dimensional Hagen-Poiseuille flow. Artificial viscosity for reducing the numerical instability directly affects the velocity of the flow, though effects of the other parameters do not produce as much effect as artificial viscosity. Numerical solutions using SPH show close agreement with the exact ones for the model flow, but SPH parameter must be chosen carefully Numerical solutions indicate that SPH is also an effective method for the analysis of 2-dimensional Hagen-Poiseuille flow.

Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH), a pure Lagrangian numerical method, is applied to analysis of penetration phenomenon of bumper plate which is installed outside of spacecraft hull to protect the spacecraft against hypervelocity meteorite impact. Effects of SPH parameters, such as artificial viscosities, smoothing lengths, numbers of particles and time increments, are analysed by comparing the SPH simulation results with experimental ones with regard to subsequent formation of debris cloud. An optimum range of parameter values is determined by error analysis and various SPH numerical results are compared with experiments.
The conventional bench blasting method uses the bottom initiation in all blast holes in a round, whereas the MDS (mixture detonation system) method applies the bottom and top initiations alternately according to the spatial position or temporal sequence of each blast hole. The former and latter are respectively called the SMDS (spatial MDS) and TMDS (temporal MDS) methods. Another variant called MMDS (modified MDS) is designed for the specific use in the site having a fly-rock problem. This study compares the MDS method to the conventional method in the aspect of rock fracturing effect. The comparison is made by numerical simulations for a two-row bench blasting model in the LS-DYNA. The SPH-FEM coupling method is utilized for constructing the blasting model. The SPH elements are used for the rock in the near-field region of the blast holes, and the FEM elements for that in the far-field region. The RHT material model is used for the rock. As a result of the simulations, it was found that up to 0.4 m deeper damaged zone was appeared in the SMDS method than in the conventional method for the case of the burden 1.6 m and bench height 3.0 m. In addition, the fly-rock velocity to the normal direction of the bench slope was appeared about 2.0 m/s lower in the MMDS method compared to the other methods.
The smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method is a numerical technique used in dynamic analysis to simulate the fluid-like behavior of materials under extreme conditions, such as those encountered in explosions or high velocity impacts. In SPH, fluid or solid materials are discretized into particles. These particles interact with each other based on certain smoothing kernels, allowing the simulation of fluid flows and predict the response of solid materials to shock waves, like deformation, cracking or failure. One of the main advantages of SPH is its ability to simulate these phenomena without a fixed grid, making it particularly suitable for analyzing complex geometries. In this study, the structural damage to a masonry arch bridge subjected to blast loading was investigated. A high-fidelity micro-model was created and the explosives were modeled using the SPH approach. The Johnson-Holmquist II damage model and the Mohr-Coulomb material model were considered to evaluate the masonry and backfill properties. Consistent with the principles of the JH-II model, the authors developed a VUMAT code. The explosive charges (50 kg, 168 kg, 425 kg and 1000 kg) were placed in close proximity to the deck and pier of a bridge. The results showed that the 50 kg charges, which could have been placed near the pier by a terrorist, had only a limited effect on the piers. Instead, this charge caused a vertical displacement of the deck due to the confinement effect. Conversely, a 1000 kg TNT charge placed 100 cm above the deck caused significant damage to the bridge.

Numerical simulation on rock cutting by a TBM disc cutter was carried out using SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) code. AUTODYN3D, a commercial software program based on finite element method, was used in this study. The three-dimensional geometry of a disc cutter and a rock specimen were modeled by Lagrange and SPH code respectively. The numerical simulation was carried out for Hwangdeung granite for 10 different cutting conditions. The results of the numerical simulation, i.e. the relation between cutter force and failure behavior, had a good agreement with those from LCM test. The cutter forces measured in the numerical simulation had 10% deviation from the LCM test results. Moreover, the optimum cutter spacing was almost identical with the experimental results. These results indicate that SPH code can be successfully used had applicability for simulation on rock cutting by a TBM disc cutter. However, further study on Lagrange-SPH coupled modelling would be necessary to reduce the computation time.
