Today, The much amount of spam that occupies the mail server and network storage occurs the lack of negative issues, such as overload, and for users to delete the spam should spend time, resources have a problem. Automatic spam filtering on the incidence to solve the problem is essential. A lot of Spam filters have tried to solve the problem emerged as an essential element automatically. Unlike traditional method such as Naive Bayesian, PCA through the many-dimensional data set of spam with a few spindle-dimensional process that narrowed the operation to reduce the burden on certain groups for classification Logistic regression analysis method was used to filter the spam. Through the speed and performance, it was able to get the positive results.
Today, opinion reviews on the Web are often used as a means of information exchange. As the importance of opinion reviews continues to grow, the number of issues for opinion spam also increases. Even though many research studies on detecting spam reviews have been conducted, some limitations of gold-standard datasets hinder research. Therefore, we introduce a new dataset called "Paraphrased Opinion Spam (POS)" that contains a new type of review spam that imitates truthful reviews. We have noticed that spammers refer to existing truthful reviews to fabricate spam reviews. To create such a seemingly truthful review spam dataset, we asked task participants to paraphrase truthful reviews to create a new deceptive review. The experiment results show that classifying our POS dataset is more difficult than classifying the existing spam datasets since the reviews in our dataset more linguistically look like truthful reviews. Also, training volume has been found to be an important factor for classification model performance.

Recently, tremendous amounts of unstructured text data that is distributed through news, blogs, and social media has gained much attention from many researchers and practitioners as this data contains abundant information about various consumers' opinions. However, as the usefulness of text data is increasing, more and more attempts to gain profits by distorting text data maliciously or nonmaliciously are also increasing. This increase in spam text data not only burdens users who want to obtain useful information with a large amount of inappropriate information, but also damages the reliability of information and information providers. Therefore, efforts must be made to improve the reliability of information and the quality of analysis results by detecting and removing spam data in advance. For this purpose, many studies to detect spam have been actively conducted in areas such as opinion spam detection, spam e-mail detection, and web spam detection. In this study, we introduce core concepts and current research trends of spam detection and propose a methodology to detect the spam tag of a blog as one of the challenging attempts to improve the reliability of blog information.

In Web environment, a flood of spam causes serious social problems such as personal information leak, monetary loss from fishing and distribution of harmful contents. Moreover, types and techniques of spam distribution which must be controlled are varying as days go by. The learning based spam classification method using Bag-of-Words model is the most widely used method until now. However, this method is vulnerable to anti-spam avoidance techniques, which recent spams commonly have, because it classifies spam documents utilizing only keyword occurrence information from classification model training process. In this paper, we propose a spam document detection method using a characteristic of repeating words occurring in spam documents as a solution of anti-spam avoidance techniques. Recently, most spam documents have a trend of repeating key phrases that are designed to spread, and this trend can be used as a measure in classifying spam documents. In this paper, we define six variables, which represent a characteristic of word repetition, and use those variables as a feature set for constructing a classification model. The effectiveness of proposed method is evaluated by an experiment with blog posts and E-mail data. The result of experiment shows that the proposed method outperforms other approaches.

The number of electronic mail(E-mail) has been increased dramatically as a result of expanding internet and information technology. Although there are many conveniences of E-mail in the bright side, some serious problems occur because of E-mail in its dark side. One of the problems is spam-mail which is unsolicited mail and also called bulk mail. This paper presents a set of patterns of spam-mail occurrences within a week using the correspondence analysis. The correspondence analysis is an exploratory multivariate technique that converts data into a particular type of graphical display in which the rows and columns are depicted as points. One of the meaningful patterns is a great increment of adult and phishing related spam-mails at weekends so any spam-mail filters should be designed to cope with this pattern.
Many steganography algorithms have been studied, and steganalysis for detecting stego images which steganography is applied to has also been studied in parallel. Especially, in the case of the image steganalysis, the features such as ALE, SPAM, and SRMQ are extracted from the statistical characteristics of the image, and stego images are classified by learning the classifier using various machine learning algorithms. However, these studies did not consider the effect of image size, aspect ratio, or message-embedding rate, and thus the features might not function normally for images with conditions different from those used in the their studies. In this paper, we analyze the classification rate of the SPAM-based image stegnalysis against variety image sizes aspect ratios and message-embedding rates and verify its versatility.
The Short Message Service (SMS) is one of the most popular communication tools in the world. As the cost of SMS decreases, SMS spam has been growing largely. Even though there are many existing studies on SMS spam detection, researchers commonly have limitation collecting users' private SMS contents. They need to gather the information related to social network as well as personal SMS due to the intelligent spammers being aware of the social networks. Therefore, this paper proposes the Social network Building Scheme for SMS spam detection (SBSS) algorithm that builds synthetic social network dataset realistically, without the collection of private information. Also, we analyze and categorize the attack types of SMS spam to build more complete and realistic social network dataset including SMS spam.

Spam email is an electronic mail sent to a large number of netizen who do not want it. Criminals have been to take an advantage of this tool easily through harmful activities such as phishing. Recently the spam mail containing commercial information is broadly accepted as an illegal commitment to endangering the network. According some report, it could cause real damages. For the better policy on controlling spam mail we need new Efficient Countermeasure. Several laws have been enacted in Korea for controlling spam mail. The most important acts is the Using and Protecting Communication Act. Main targets of this law is virus spreading, computer hacking, cyber pornography, intellectual property breaching, private or public information abusing and cyber terrorism. But the Using and Protecting Communication Act is insufficient to control spam mail. For the better policy on controlling spam mail we need new Efficient Countermeasure. Therefore, this research wishes to present way to control for efficient spam mail through enactment of conversion, induction of clash action system degree, special law of national regulation form for spam mail.
