본 논문은 Data mining에서 선호도 분석 등에 사용되는 Skyline Query[2] 중 자료의 속성에 spatial한 성질이 있을 때 사용할 수 있는 Spatial Skyline Query[3] 문제에 대해 연구한다. 우선 Spatial Skyline 집합을 추출하기 위한 기존의 알고리즘의 문제점을 짚어보고 보다 개선된 알고리즘을 제시한다. 또한 전체 Spatial Skyline 집합이 아닌 그 중 더 의미 있을 수 있는 부분 집합을 좀 더 빠른 시간 복잡도에 구하는 방법 또한 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 HVDC(High voltage direct current) 시스템의 과도시 HVDC 제어 성능을 향상하기 위하여 일반적으로 수행하는 컨버터 제어방식을 변형한 제어 알고리즘을 제시하고자 한다. 제안하는 제어 알고리즘은 PSCAD/EMTDC를 이용하여 구현하였으며, AC계통의 고장을 모의하여 그 제어 효과를 보였다.

전자회로의 설계 자동화에 있어 중요한 단계인 레이아웃(layout)의 주기능은 배치(placement)와 배선(routing)이라 할 수 있으며, 그중 배치는 크게 constructive와 iterative의 두 부류로 나누어진다. 이들의 가장 주된 목적은 배치의 다음과정인 배선(routing)에서 높은 배선율(routability)을 이룰 수 있도록 하는 데 있다. 본고에서는 배치에 있어서 일반적으로 사용되는 알고리즘과 개발동향에 대해 살펴봄으로써 앞으로 새로운 알고리즘의 개발과 자동설계 시스팀의 효율적인 사용에 도움이 되도록 하였다.

In this paper, we used MOM-based BIM(Born Iterative Method) algorithm to implement the inverse scattering for the detection of cancer. We adopted two-dimensional breast structure, integral equations and two-dimensional Green's function is solved with MoM(Method of Moment) to analyzing electromagnetic scattering phenomena. In addition, verifying the calculation of developed inverse scattering algorithm and analyzing medical applicability and limitations of the algorithm.

휴대용 모바일 디바이스의 입력 장치로는 스타일러스나 터치 스크린의 채용이 가장 일반적이나, 이들 방식을 사용하기 위해서는 사용자는 두 손을 모두 사용해야 하는 불편함이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 가속도나 자이로 센서를 이용한 tilt navigation이 많은 관심을 받고 있다. Tilt navigation은 한 손으로 모바일 디바이스를 잡고 기울임으로써 원하는 기능이나 항목을 선택할 수 있는 장점이 있으나, 사용자에게 익숙하지 않아 아직 보편화 되지 않고 있다. 본 연구는 tilt navigation에서 사용자가 원하는 메뉴나 항목을 보다 쉽게 찾아 갈 수 있도록 메뉴 또는 항목 간의 이동 속도를 제어하는 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 목표 항목을 찾아 가는 과정에서 과거의 기울임 정보를 바탕으로 목표 아이템이 존재하는 범위를 설정하고, 항목 간의 이동 속도를 범위의 크기에 비례하도록 설정하여 사용자가 목표 아이템을 보다 편리하게 찾고 선택할 수 있도록 한다. 또한 본 연구에서는 가속도 센서를 장착한 PDA를 이용하여 기존의 tilt navigation과 제안하는 알고리즘이 적용된 tilt navigation과의 목표 아이템을 찾아가는데 걸리는 소요 시간을 비교하여, 제안하는 알고리즘의 효과를 보이고자 한다.

With active research on Web ontology, various storages and query languages have been developed to store Web Ontology. As SPARQL usage increases and most of storages are based on relational data base, the necessity of SPARQL-to-SQL translation algorithm development becomes issued. Even though several translation algorithms have been proposed, there still remain the following problems. They do not support fully SPARQL clauses and they are dependent on a specific storage model. This paper proposes a new model to use a specific translation algorithm independently on storages.

본 논문에서는 코드 최적화를 위하여 계산적으로나 수명적으로 제한이 없는 배정문 모션 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘은 지나친 레지스터의 사용을 막기 위하여 불필요한 코드 모션을 억제한다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 기존 알고리즘의 술어의 의미가 명확하지 않은 것을 개선하였고 노드 단위 분석과 명령어 단위 분석을 혼용했기 때문에 발생하는 모호함도 개선하였다. 따라서, 제안한 알고리즘은 불필요하게 중복된 수식이나 배정문의 수행을 피하게 함으로써, 프로그램의 불필요한 재계산이나 재실행을 하지 않게 하여 프로그램의 능률 및 실행시간을 향상시킨다.

In this paper, We design RS(255,239) decoder with modified Euclidean algorithm, which show polynomic coefficient state machine instead of calculating coefficients of modified Euclidean algorithm. This design can reduce complexity and implement High-speed Read Solomon decoder. Additionally, we have synthesized with Xilinx XC4VLX60. From synthesis, it can operate at clock frequency of 77.4MHz, and gate count is 20,710.
