To this end, this research collected basic information about art museums according to '2018 National General Report of Cultural Infrastructure' and investigate the websites of 30 art museums through multi-step sampling process. This study analyzed the structure and menu of the art museum websites as well as the current state of various contents provided by the websites and the search service for the collections offered by the websites. Following sentences are the results. First of all, the art museum websites offer 5.6 top menus on average. Secondly, contents related to art museum, exhibitions, news, education, general forum, and SNS are the basic contents that should be provided on the art museum websites. Third, for contents related to news, education, and events have problems with hierarchical structure and need to be adjusted. Fourth, in the content type, specialized information contents are relatively insufficient and thus need to be improved. Fifth, the art museum websites should give sufficient information about the collection and offer directory searching hat includes keyword searching as well as detail searching service. It is also required to reorganize the directory along with the download function for searched results and the sorting service.

  • The emergence of the internet technology and SNS has increased the information flow and has changed the way people to communicate from one-way to two-way communication. Users not only consume and share the information, they also can create and share it among their friends across the social network service. It also changes the Social Media behavior to become one of the most important communication tools which also includes Social TV. Social TV is a form which people can watch a TV program and at the same share any information or its content with friends through Social media. Social News is getting popular and also known as a Participatory Social Media. It creates influences on user interest through Internet to represent society issues and creates news credibility based on user's reputation. However, the conventional platforms in news services only focus on the news recommendation domain. Recent development in SNS has changed this landscape to allow user to share and disseminate the news. Conventional platform does not provide any special way for news to be share. Currently, Social News Service only allows user to access the entire news. Nonetheless, they cannot access partial of the contents which related to users interest. For example user only have interested to a partial of the news and share the content, it is still hard for them to do so. In worst cases users might understand the news in different context. To solve this, Social News Service must provide a method to provide additional information. For example, Yovisto known as an academic video searching service provided time dependent metadata from the video. User can search and watch partial of video content according to time dependent metadata. They also can share content with a friend in social media. Yovisto applies a method to divide or synchronize a video based whenever the slides presentation is changed to another page. However, we are not able to employs this method on news video since the news video is not incorporating with any power point slides presentation. Segmentation method is required to separate the news video and to creating time dependent metadata. In this work, In this paper, a time dependent metadata-based framework is proposed to segment news contents and to provide time dependent metadata so that user can use context information to communicate with their friends. The transcript of the news is divided by using the proposed story segmentation method. We provide a tag to represent the entire content of the news. And provide the sub tag to indicate the segmented news which includes the starting time of the news. The time dependent metadata helps user to track the news information. It also allows them to leave a comment on each segment of the news. User also may share the news based on time metadata as segmented news or as a whole. Therefore, it helps the user to understand the shared news. To demonstrate the performance, we evaluate the story segmentation accuracy and also the tag generation. For this purpose, we measured accuracy of the story segmentation through semantic similarity and compared to the benchmark algorithm. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms benchmark algorithms in terms of the accuracy of story segmentation. It is important to note that sub tag accuracy is the most important as a part of the proposed framework to share the specific news context with others. To extract a more accurate sub tags, we have created stop word list that is not related to the content of the news such as name of the anchor or reporter. And we applied to framework. We have analyzed the accuracy of tags and sub tags which represent the context of news. From the analysis, it seems that proposed framework is helpful to users for sharing their opinions with context information in Social media and Social news.

  • This study aims to investigate the influence of personality styles on information seeking behaviors of undergraduate students. To this end, first, Korean Enneagram Personality Training Indicator (KEPTI) tool was used to measure Enneagram personality styles. Next, to measure information seeking activities, 200 of undergraduate students were recruited, and a questionnaire with 13 questions was designed. The questions included information usage motivation, how to collect and search scholarly information, challenges faced in the search process, level of satisfaction, and the use of SNS (Social Network Service). This research concluded that personality traits affected information seeking behavior and Enneagram types of each center of energy consistently did not show similar information seeking behavior.

  • Nowadays, real-time devices that provide health care for a companion animal is being developed by IoT technology and its demand such as smart puppy tag is increasing. However, it is difficult for IoT devices of companion animals to process complex nature due to miniaturized hardware and constructive nature. There is a clear limit to custom advanced features like health care implementation. This paper designs an integrated platform with statistical analysis which makes it possible to customized services such as feed production, pharmaceutical production, and health care for each companion animal. Middleware that collects sensor information, customer's spending pattern and information from Social Network Service is also designed by making use of IoT devices which companion animals wear. Furthermore, the paper designed data analyzer which analyzes and refines data from collected information that can be applied to personalized services.

  • In this paper, I had sampled 1% of whole elementary school students in Korea and measured ICT literacy levels of them. As a result, the girl's score was higher than the boy's. To analyze the cause, I had surveyed the habit to use ICT according to gender and analyzed the correlation between that and ICT literacy score. According to the correlation analysis, girls have the habits of searching for information more than boys and accessing to on-line dictionary and enjoying SNS. Also, the fact that the habits have the correlation with ICT lieracy score is analyzed. Therefore, I proposed educational method for ICT literacy learning based on the difference of habit to use ICT between boys and girls.

  • Recently, the size and type of disasters in Korea has been diversified. However, Korea has not been able to build various information support systems to predict these disasters. Many other organizations also provide relevant information. This information is mainly provided on the Web, but most of it is not real time information. In this study, we have paid attention to support information using big data to provide better quality real - time information together with information provided by institutions. Big data has a large amount of information with real-time property, and it can make customized service using it. Among them, SNS such as Twitter and Facebook can be used as a new information collection medium in case of disaster. However, it is very difficult to retrieve necessary information from too much information, and it is difficult to collect intuitive information. For this purpose, this study develops an information support system using Twitter. The system retrieves information using the Twitter hashtag. Also, information mapping is performed on the map so that intuitive information can be grasped. For system evaluation, information extraction, degree of mapping, and recommendation speed are evaluated.
