Objectives : The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of flexion-distraction technique on low back pain. Methods : The 40 patients were divided into 2 groups: group a was treated except flexion-distraction technique and group B was treated with flexion-distraction technique. Both groups were treated with acupuncture treatment, physical therapy and manipulation. Patients were evaluated by McGill pain questionnaire-short form(SF-MPQ), visual analogue scale(VAS), Oswestry disability index(ODI) and pain disability index(PDI). Results : 1. Both Groups were significantly decreased in VAS and ODI after 3 weeks of treatment. 2. Group B compared with Group A was significantly decreased in SF-MPQ, VAS, ODI and PDI after 3 weeks of treatment. Conclusions : We found out that flexion-distraction technique is considered to be effective and useful on low back pain.

이 논문에서는 질병, 발정, 분만, 스트레스 등 이상상황에서의 가축 행동 및 생체 특성을 분석하고, 상황인식을 위한 무선센서 네트워크를 제안한다. 제안한 시스템에서는 다양한 센서를 이용하여 가축 운동량, 위치, 충격량, 고도, 가속도 체온 정보를 수집하여, 활동량, 군집도, 승가여부, 체온 등의 특성 정보로 가공되어 상황인식에 활용한다. 무선센서 네트워크는 전류소모량이 많은 축사환경정보 수집센서는 유선 통신으로 구현하고, 가축 행동 및 생체정보 센서는 저전력 통신이 가능하도록 설계하여 목걸이형 기구물 교체주기를 최대화하였다. 또한, 제안한 무선센서 네트워크는 가축의 이상상황 인식에 필요한 다양한 정보를 수집할 수 있어, 효율적인 가축관리를 통한 생산성 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

이 논문에서는 가축관리의 효율성을 높일 수 있는 IoT 기술 기반의 지능형 축산정보 통합관리 시스템 및 구축 방안을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 체온, 활동량, 군집도와 같은 개체특성 정보와 온도, 습도, CO2 농도 등의 축사환경 정보를 무선센서 네트워크를 통해 실시간으로 수집한다. 수집된 정보는 가축개체별 생애주기 사양관리 스케쥴과 연동되어 신속한 관리가 필요한 이상상황을 자동으로 인식한다. 또한, 축적된 양질의 축산지식 정보는 허가된 범위 내에서 접종사, 수정사, 수의사, 축산공무원 등 축산종사자에게 공유된다. 제안한 시스템은 대규모 축사에서 수정, 분만, 질병관리 등 사양관리 시기를 자동으로 감지하여 축주에게 알려줄 수 있기 때문에 최소한의 시간과 비용으로 가축관리 효율성과 생산성을 높일 수 있다.

Objectives We report a case which is based on Sasang constitutional Medicine for Soyangsangpungjeung of Soyangin who has chill and fever. Methods We have treated a Soyangin patient that had chill and fever which was diagnosed as Soyangsangpungjeung. We prescribed oriental medicine therapy focused on herbal medicine for that physical symptoms. The improvement of that symptoms was evaluated. Results After using oriental medicine therapy, patient's physical symptoms were improved. Conclusions This case study showed an efficient result of using oriental medicine therapy, especially herbal medicine in Soyangsangpungjeung of Soyangin.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to report the effectiveness of Korean medicine therapy on Psychologic tremor patients with MCVT. Methods: Korean medicine therapy including MCVT, herb, acupuncture, and psychotherapy are applied to psychologic tremor patients. Vas and AIMS are used as assessment tools to evaluate the effects of therapy. MCVT is a traditional Korean medicine technique usually for chronic diseases. Similarly, autogenic training by J.H.Schultz and Giungoroen-therapy was conducted as psychotherapy. Results: In case 1, the patient lost all symptoms from vas10 to vas0, while in case 2, symptoms of the patient decreased from vas10 to vas3. Additionally, there was a significant decrease in the AIMS measurement score for both patients. Psychotherapy helped to reduce depression and anxiety. Conclusions: Psychologic tremor can be treated using Korean traditional medicine such as MCVT, Sosiho-tang and psychotherapy.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to research the trend related to pharmacopuncture for insomnia in China for further development of pharmacopuncture in Korea. Methods: This study reviewed and analyzed 21 Chinese journals related to pharmacopuncture 2013~2019 sourced with the following keywords in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). 'Shimian', 'Wuewei zhushe', 'Shuizhen', 'Xuewei yaowu zhushe', 'Yaowu xuewei zhushe', 'Xuewei zhuyao', 'Xuezhu', and 'Xueweiyaowu zhuru'. Results: The following results were obtained in this study. 1. A total of 21 papers were selected, comprised of clinical research and case reports. 2. Pharmacopuncture was often used for insomnia, and as the medicine of injection, Salvia, Gastrodin, Acanthopanax, Hominis Placenta, Qingkailing, Shenmai, Bozhi Glycopeptide, Fufang Danggui, Vitamin B12, and Chlorpromazine Hydrochloride were used. 3. In combined treatments, acupuncture, chiropractic, auricular sticking, and herbal medicine were used. 4. It was more effective compared to conservational acupuncture therapy. Conclusions: It was established that they have efficiency to treat insomnia with pharmacopuncture in China, but there were limitations in this study, so we need more research to identify new medicines for neuropsychiatric diseases.

Objectives: This study reports a case of COVID-19 in which the patient experienced improved clinical symptoms (fever, cough, anosmia, sore throat, pantalgia, and headache) after treatment with Korean medicine. Methods: A 47-year-old male patient diagnosed with COVID-19 was treated with herbal medicine (Mahwangbalpyotang-gagam) three times a day. His clinical course was assessed using changes in body temperature, the Numerical Rating Scale of clinical symptoms, and chest X-ray comparisons between pre-COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 conditions. Results: All the patient's clinical symptoms subsided in 11 days. After 15 days of treatment, his body temperature dropped to a normal range, and the quarantine was lifted. A chest X-ray showed there was no active lung lesion in either lung field after COVID-19. Conclusion: This study suggests that herbal medicine treatment may be an effective treatment for relieving COVID-19's clinical symptoms.

본 연구는 실내외 자전거 운동 시 빈번히 발생하고 있는 무릎상해를 예방하기 위해 자전거 운동을 실시할 때 올바른 자세를 유지 할 수 있도록 도와주는 보호 장비 개발 내용이다. 자전거 운동 시 발생할 수 있는 손상을 예방하기 위해서는 안장의 높이, 좌우 무릎사이의 간격, 무릎 각도가 안전한 각도 범위내에 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 무릎의 올바른 정렬을 유지한 채 운동을 지속할 수 있도록 센서부와 제어기로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 센서부는 가속도 센서, 자이로 센서, 속도감지 센서로 구성하여 자전거 운동 시 정상적인 무릎정렬과 비교하여 올바르지 못한 정렬 상태에서 운동 시 즉시 피드백하여 자세를 수정할 수 있도록 유도해 무릎의 상해를 예방하는 실내외 자전거 이용 시 운동 상해를 예방하기 위한 무릎 보호대를 개발하고자 한다.

"HanBangEuiHakGangSupSeo" is a total medical book written by Sung Joo Bong and published in 1935, to be used in a Korean medical school in Daejon. It was published to raise generation and reconstruct Korean medicine and get the authors medical expriences across to lots of people and get it more useful. "HanBangEuiHakGangSupSeo" strengthen the study of classics of Korean medicine and it shows various efforts to reconstruct Korean medicine done those days.

A new species of the genus Ebrechtella Dahl, Ebrechtella juwangensis n. sp. and the male of Ozyptila geumoensis Seo and Sohn, 1997 are reported new to science. Ozyptila utotchkini Marusik, 1990 is reported for the first time in Korea. Habitus photos and illustrations of these three species are provided.
