공급자-구매자 협력관계가 지속가능 SCM 활동에 미치는 영향 (A Study of Collaborative Relations of Supplier-Buyer on Sustainable SCM Activity)

  • 본 연구는 자동차부품업체의 공급자-구매자 협력관계가 지속가능 SCM 활동과 협력성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제안된 연구모형과 가설을 검증하기 위하여 실증자료를 수집하였고 구조모형분석을 이용하여 검증하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 공급자-구매자간 협력관계가 지속가능 SCM 활동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고, 두 집단간 차이분석 결과에서도 공급자와 구매자 관점 모두 협력관계가 지속가능 SCM 활동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 공급자-구매자간 지속가능 SCM 활동이 협력성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고, 두 집단간 차이분석 결과에서도 공급자와 구매자 관점 모두 지속가능 SCM 활동이 협력성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 공급자-구매자간 협력관계가 협력성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치나 통계적으로 유의하지 않은 것으로 분석되었으며, 두 집단간 차이분석 결과에서는 공급자 관점은 협력관계가 협력성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었으나, 구매자 관점은 협력관계가 협력성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되어 관점의 차이에 따라 협력성과 향상에 대한 인지정도는 다른 것으로 평가된다. 본 연구결과는 공급자-구매자 협력관계에 대한 장기적으로 전략적 관계구축을 이루고자 하는 기업들에게 유용한 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있으며, 기업의 협력성과 및 경쟁력 향상을 위한 방안에 활용될 수 있다.

섬유패션기업의 SCM 성과 측정을 위한 Scor Model과 BSC 연구 (A Study on Scor model and BSC to estimate SCM Performance in Textile and Fashion Business)

  • To survive competitive global market, textile and fashion business incorporated Supply Chain Management strategy to make product and information flows fast and correct. Especially textile and fashion industry involves many complicated channels from up stream, middle stream, to down stream for delivering their production. Evaluating SCM performance is very critical to make better business profit model. Representative Scor model and BSC method are well fitted into textile and fashion business because of distributional complexity, non-financial factors to be considered, and innovative product characteristics. But there was little study to compare these two methods for textile and fashion business. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the Scor model and BSC method based upon review of literatures. The results of this study were as follows: Scor model had some strengths which were availability to apply for various industries due to standardized process, operation process emphasized, various customizable factors to compose for the company, and premise on SCM strategic execution. BSC method had some strengths which were the balance including financial and non-financial factors, qualitative analysis, and considering the goal and vision to convey organically from top to bottom of organization. The main differences between them were different scope to deal with performance estimating index from qualitative to quantitative analysis, the scope of human resources to manage, and possibility of performance comparison among companies.

e-비즈니스의 유통기업 성장성 및 수익성 기여 효과분석 (The Effect of E-Business on Firm's Growth and Profitability in the Distribution Industry)

  • Purpose - This research aims to examine the effect of e-business adoption on firm's growth and profitability in the distribution industry. The value added from the distribution industry acts as the cost of other industries. As the distribution industry develops, its stage becomes shorter and the distribution margin becomes smaller. Therefore, e-business is expected to have a different effect on the distribution industry than other industries. Research design, data and methodology - The previous research generally used e-business adoption as an independent variable and firm's performance as a dependent variable. This study elaborated the model using a dynamic panel model that includes the performance variable of the previous year as an independent variable. By employing system GMM (Generalized Method of Moments), the endogeneity problem in the dynamic panel model can be solved. For the analysis, I extracted the distribution companies as the raw data in the National Statistical Office's Business Activity Survey over the period 2006 to 2012. Results - The growth rate of firms adopting e-business was 0.299%p higher than that of the non-adopter. However, only ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), KMS (Knowledge Management System) and SCM (Supply Chain Management) contributed positively to the growth rate. In the case of profitability, it was 0.04%p higher than the distribution companies that did not adopt e-business. ERP and LMS (Learning Management System) improve profitability, while SCM reduces profitability. Consequently, while ERP improves both growth and profitability, SCM improves growth but reduces profitability. In addition, KMS improves firm's growth only, and LMS does only profitability, showing that each e-business has a differentiated effect. Conclusions - Since the distribution industry has different characteristics from manufacturing and other service industries, the introduction of e-business may not guarantee the growth and profitability of distribution companies. Careful introduction considering the characteristics of the distribution industry is required. In particular, it is necessary to select an e-business meeting the characteristics and needs of a distribution company, and thereafter, it is required for the company's own efforts to internalize it within the system.

  • Logistics is in the limelight as one of a variety of RFID applications. The RFID technology is actively being applied to improve the competitiveness power of companies through the synthetic management of products and information. The RFID system generates large volume of stream data. It has problems which occur waste of storage and long processing time when storing large data and processing queries. Recently, many studies have been done to solve the problems which are generated in RFID system. In this thesis, we propose an efficient data management scheme for path queries and containment queries which are occurred frequently. The proposed data management scheme considers a change of the containment of products during a transport and supports a path of changed products by representing a path of various containments. Also, the compression utilizing the structure of supply chain reduces the stored data volumes. In order to show the superiority of our approach, we compare it with the existing schemes. As a result, our experimental results show that our scheme outperforms the existing scheme in terms of storage efficiency and query processing time.

Optimal Inventory and Price Markdown Policy for a Two-Layer Market with Demand being Price and Time Dependent

  • This paper considers a SCM issue concerned with an integrated problem of inventory control and dynamic pricing strategies when demands are price and time dependent. The associated price markdowns are conducted for inventory control in a two-layer market consisting of retailer and outlet as in fashion apparel market. The objective function consists of revenue terms (sales revenue and salvage value) and purchasing cost term. Specifically, decisions on price markdowns and order quantity are made to maximize total profit in the supply chain so as to have zero inventory level at the end of the sales horizon. To solve the proposed problem, a gradient method is applied, which shows an optimal decision on both the initial inventory level and the discount pricing policy. Sensitivity analysis is conducted on the demand parameters and the final comments on the practical use of the proposed model are presented.

  • The firms aim to acquire services and costs advantage from logistics outsourcing strategy. But it is very important to select optimum service provider. A checklist of the criteria for the evaluation of service providers follows : service quality, low cost, logistics information system, service network, financial stability, investments in plant and equipment, management attitude and lookout for the future strategic fit, cultural and psychological barriers etc. Also, a 8-step implement of logistics outsourcing strategy will be of help for maximizing benefits of logistics outsourcing. It follows : 1-step : logistics environment analysis, 2-step : check service provider availability, 3-step : logistics outsourcing determinant analysis, 4-step : select of optimum service provider, 5-step : contract with optimum service provider, 6-step : identify of remaining barriers, 7-step : performance of logistics outsourcing, 8-step : evaluation.

Integrated Inventory-Distribution Planning in a (1 : N) Supply Chain System with Heterogeneous Vehicles Incorporated

  • This paper considers an integrated inventory-distribution system with a fleet of heterogeneous vehicles employed where a single warehouse distributes a single type of products to many spatially distributed retailers to satisfy their dynamic demands. The problem is to determine order planning at the warehouse, and also vehicle schedules and delivery quantities for the retailers with the objective of minimizing the sum of ordering cost at the warehouse, inventory holding cost at both the warehouse and retailers, and transportation cost. For the problem, we give a Mixed Integer Programming formulation and develop a Lagrangean heuristic procedure for computing lower and upper bounds on the optimal solution value. The Lagrangean dual problem of finding the best Lagrangrean lower bound is solved by subgradient optimization. Computational experiments on randomly generated test problems showed that the suggested algorithm gives relatively good solutions in a reasonable amount of computation time.

  • In this paper, we suggest postal RFID adaptation model, tag data structure and code which can be used for real time trace and track of parcel processing and pallet management. This paper also shows postal RFID application system architecture and testbed based on the proposed tag data structure and code, and shows recognition performance of tag on parcel and pallet by speed and mounting tag material such as can, water, and paper using implemented postal RFID system for postal logistics. The contribution of this paper is to stimulate deployment of RFID technology for postal logistics service and SCM (Supply Chain Management).

  • 본 연구는 자재업체부터 마약류 생산 제약사 도매업체(물류) 대형병원까지의 전체 프로세스에 RFID 시스템을 구축하여 마약류의 도난 및 오남용을 방지하여 국민의 보건안전 및 의약품 관리강화를 도모하는 것으로 현재까지 기 구축된 제약사들의 RFID 시스템에서 기술적으로 고도화시킬 수 있는 방안을 도출하여 최적화된 현장적응형 RFID 서비스를 제공하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 제약산업 내 제약사 도매업체 대형종합병원 의원에 대한 RFID 도입표준모델을 제시하고 Supply Chain의 유통 투명화를 위한 정보시스템 도입의 기반을 마련함으로써 제약산업 내 참여주체들간의 정보 신뢰성 제고는 물론 철저한 의약품 유통관리로 인한 건전한 의약품 소비문화를 정착시킬 수 있다.

  • Today, the form of competition among companies quickly changes in new paradigm. In the past company activity was performed independently, but now dependently. With global age, that change is essential, the introduction of a system that integrates a series of courses is needed for the success of members. Nevertheless, those change are very slow in construction industry, that causes a lot of loss in project process. Construction industry produce structures with collaboration of other industries. There are difficulties that only one company make it, alone. In this trend, cooperation is essential. but the process of original brings a lot of loss From this perspective, this study will prove dependencies of construction industry. Draw out each factor from industrial cooperation, those analyze correlation with system dynamics. In conclusion, this study performs a basic research about 'Integrated Management System' of construction project.
