  • This paper is a multi-input multi-path (Multiple-input multiple-output: MIMO) using a space-alternating generalized expectation maximization(SAGE) algorithm in the parameter channel and determine the channel estimation performance. Estimated by the algorithm, SAGE time-varying channel environment, the channel parameters estimated from the parameters of the channel measured in the island region 781 of the band in order to compare the performance and compares the original data. This allows you to check the performance of the algorithm SAGE and is highly stable to delay spread (Delay Spread), the diffusion angle of arrival (Arrive of Angular Spread) performance in terms of accuracy down through the SAGE algorithm for estimating a more general calculation parameters.

  • We used serial analysis of gene expression (SAGE) approach to derive a profile of expressed genes of the posterior silk glands (PSG) and to create a reference for understanding gene cluster related to the mechanism of silk protein synthesis in the silkworm, Bombyx mori. We constructed a 3' SAGE library from the PSG of the fifth instar larvae of the silkworm. In total we obtained 2,406 SAGE tags, of which 682 were unique tags. Sorted by tag count number, 27 (4%) unique tags were significantly more abundant genes (ten or more times), whereas 445 (65%) unique tags were detected as single copies. The annotation of 682 unique SAGE tags revealed that 462 (68%) of the SAGE tag sequences represented known genes, whereas 220 (32%) of the tag sequences had no matches in SAGE map and silkworm EST databases. Of the 682 SAGE tags, the most abundant tag sequences were that of the fibroin light chain gene and the silk protein P25. In addition, we compared two relative abundance results of the SAGE and the EST approaches to verify whether their transcript quantitative aspects are significant or not. The comparative results of relative abundances of the fibroin H-, L- chain and P25 glycoprotein genes indicated that the quantitative approach based on SAGE tags is effective for quantitative cataloging and comparison of expressed genes in same organs. The SAGE tag information reported in this study would be useful for researchers in the field to analyze genes associated with silk processing mechanisms of insects.

  • Linear Algebra are arguably the most popular math subjects in colleges. We believe that students' learning and understanding of linear algebra can be improved substantially if we incorporate the latest advanced information technologies in our teaching. We found that the open source mathematics program 'Sage' (http://sagemath.org) can be a good candidate to achieve our goal of improving students' interest and learning of linear algebra. In particular, we developed a simple mobile content which is available for Sage commands on common cell phones in 2009. In this paper, we introduce the mobile Sage which contains many Sage functions on a smart-phone and the mobile linear algebra content model(lecture notes, and video lectures, problem solving, and CAS tools) and it will be useful to students for self-directed learning in college mathematics education.

  • The importance of the mathematical education on the ICT environment has been increased as the educational environment has been changed in 21st century. In Korea, many researches on ICT tools have appeared over the last 10 years. But most of researches are depending on the foreign tools, that was one major obstacle on adapting them in our mathematics curriculum. But we found the new open source tool which is called Sage-Math can be in effective solution to resolve those problems. Now we produce what we have done in linear algebra with this Sage-Math and mobile modules.

  • Recently, consumers have shown an increasing tendency to seek information related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects in order to choose products with higher social value and environmental friendliness. In this paper, we proposes a product recommendation system applying ESG indicators tailored to the recent consumer trend of value-based consumption, utilizing a model called MultiSAGE that combines GraphSAGE and GAT. To achieve this, ESG rating data for 1,033 companies in 2022 collected from the Korea ESG Standard Institute and actual product data from N companies were transformed into a Heterogeneous Graph format through a data processing pipeline. The MultiSAGE model was then applied in machine learning to implement a recommendation system that, given a specific product, suggests eco-friendly alternatives. The implementation results indicate that consumers can easily compare and purchase products with ESG indicators applied, and it is anticipated that this system will be utilized in recommending products with social value and environmental friendliness.

  • Mechanically deboned chicken meat(MDCM ) from necks and backs was blended with 0.1% oleoresin rosemary, 0.1% oleoresin sage and 0.05% rosemary combined with 0.05% sage to evaluate retardation of oxidative rancidity during storage at$3^{\circ}C$ and $-25^{\circ}C$, respectively. 1. Moisture content of MDCM was 66.3%. protein 17.6%, fat 15.0% and ash 1.10%. Several types of bone particles such as angular and needle like shape in MDCM were observed by light microscope. 2. Lipid oxidation of MDCM started to increase after 2 day and increase rapidly after 6 day of storage at $3^{\circ}C$. Oleoresin sage and rosemary apparently retarded oxidative rancidity of MDCM during refrigerated and frozen storage, TBA and total carbonyl values demonstrated that sage was more effective antioxidant than rosemary, and sage /rosemary combination was the most effective antioxidant among them. 3. The oxidative rancidity of MDCM apparently accelerated after 50 days of storage at $-25^{\circ}C$. The addition of oleoresin sage and rosemary inhibited oxidizing changes stored for 100 days at -$25^{\circ}C$.

  • For over 20 years, the issue of using an adequate CAS tool in teaching and learning of linear algebra has been raised constantly. And a variety of CAS tools were introduced in many linear algebra textbooks. In Korea, however, because of some realistic problems, they have not been introduced in the class and the theoretical aspect of linear algebra has been focused on in teaching and learning of it. In this paper, we suggest Sage as an alternative for CAS tools overcoming the problems mentioned above. And, we introduce full contents for linear algebra and matrix calculator that Sage was used to develop. Taking advantage of them, almost all the concepts of linear algebra can be easily covered and the size of matrices can be expanded without difficulty.

  • This study was peformed to investigate the synergistic effects of catechin and ascorbic acid on antioxidative activities of methanol and hexane extracts (500 ppm) from rosemary, sage, oregano, and ginger. Ascorbic acid (200 ppm) and (-)-catechin (200 ppm) could be solubilized in a rice bran oil via a reverse micelles using small amount of water and dioctyl sulfosuccinate as the sufactant. Methanol extracts from rosemary, sage, oregano, and ginger showed the synergistic effects by (-)-catechin. However, methanol extracts showed the synergistic effect by ascorbic acid except that of ginger. The synergistic effects of (-)-catechin on methanol extracts were higher than those of ascorbic acid. Hexane extracts of oregano and ginger showed the synergistic effects by (-)-catechin, and no synergistic effects by ascorbic acid. On the other hand, rosemary and sage showed the synergistic effects by ascorbic acid and no synergistic effects by (-)-catechin.

  • This study was performed to investigate the antioxidative effects of solvent extracts of eighteen curry spices. Yields of the curry spices extracted by methanol, ethylacetate and hexane were $6.4{\sim}42.9%$, $3.9{\sim}26.2%$ and $1.6{\sim}29.2%$, respectively. Methanol, ethylacetate and hexane extracts of spices were added up to 1,500 ppm in the rice bran oil and antioxidative effects of extracts were tested by Rancimat. Induction periods of spices extracted by methanol were in the order of rosemary(33.5hr)>sage(29.1hr)>ginger(28.6hr)>turmeric(26.9hr)>nutmeg(25.8hr)>oregano(25.6hr)>thyme(25.3hr)>BHT(24.5hr)>control(22.6hr). Those of ethylacetate extracts were as follows: rosemary(43.9hr)>sage(30.9hr)>oregano(29.0hr)>thyme(27.5hr)>ginger(27.1hr)>BHT(24.5hr)>control(22.6hr). Those of hexane extracts were in the order of rosemary(47.4hr)>sage(31.4hr)>oregano(27.3hr)>ginger(25.5hr)>thyme(25.1hr)>control(22.6hr). Solvent extracts of rosemary, sage, oregano, ginger and thyme showed significant antioxidative effects. Two thousands ppm hexane-extract of rosemary was the most effective. Addition of hexane-extracts of rosemary didn't show any synergism with the hexane extracts of sage, oregano, ginger, and thyme.
