Digital Filter Design for the DSD Encoder with Multi-rate PCM Input (PCM 입력의 DSD 인코더를 위한 디지털 필터 설계)

  • The DSD(Direct Stream Digital) encoder, which is a standard for SACD(Super Audio Compact Disc) proposed by Sony and philips, use 1 bit representation with a sampling frequency of 2.8224 MHz (64 $\times$ 44.1 kHz). For multi-rate PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) input like as 48/96/192 kHz, a external sample-rate converter is necessary to the DSD encoder. This paper has been proposed a digital filter structure composed of sample-rate converter and interpolation filter for the DSD encoder with multi-rate (48/96/192 kHz) PCM input. without a external sample-rate converter.

  • This paper is a study if control system with KEN that is not only superior-manufacture ability-hardware; that is to say, the hardware is HMI/SACD solution and it has been developed to sub-station and power management system, which is easy, fast and suitable for users to work with, but also compatible solution with domestic environment Futhermore, the hardware has been developed by completely domestic technology with knowledge from various actual experiences. In the long run, for uninterruptible power supply to train, building, and factory, real time tele-supervisory control to power facilities.

  • This study was performed to improve mechanical properties of rotor and bushing materials. SACD and SKD11 steels as rotor and bushing materials were investigated. Gas nitriding and TiN coating were carried out on SACM and SKD11 steels. TiN coating was deposited on SKD11 steel by reactive sputtering process. This coated layer was picked off during the operation because of insufficient adhesion. Gas nitriding was carried out on SACM and SKD11 steels in an ammonia atmosphere at 51$0^{\circ}C$ for 72 hrs. These gas nitrided parts showed good mechanical properties. SKD11 steels were heat-treated to obtain optimum carbide size and distribution. As a results, the hardness increased.
