  • As the IoT-based hyper-connected society grows, public-key cryptosystem such as RSA is frequently used for encryption, authentication, and digital signature. Public-key cryptosystem use very large (safe) prime numbers to ensure security against malicious attacks. Even though the performance of the device has greatly improved, the generation of a large (safe)prime is time-consuming or memory-intensive. In this paper, we propose ET-MR and ET-MR-MR using Euler sieve so it runs faster while using less memory. We present a running time prediction model by probabilistic analysis and compare time and memory of our method with conventional methods. Experimental results show that the difference between the expected running time and the measured running time is less than 4%. In addition, the fastest running time of ET-MR is 36% faster than that of TD-MR, 8.5% faster than that of DT-MR and the fastest running time of ET-MR-MR is 65.3% faster than that of TD-MR-MR and similar to that of DT-MR-MR. When k=12,381, the memory usage of ET-MR is 2.7 times more than that of DT-MR but 98.5% less than that of TD-MR and when k=65,536, the memory usage of ET-MR-MR is 98.48% less than that of TD-MR-MR and 92.8% less than that of DT-MR-MR.

  • The high speed tilting train has superior advantages which are effects on reductions of running time to non-tilting in curves. But in order that the tilting train is operated in conventional track, it is performed evaluation on the running safety. This study carried out an analysis of running stability of tilting train in conventional curved track. The results obtained through this study will be applied to improve the conventional curved track and determine the limit velocity.

  • In this work, the characteristics and the improving method of train performance of Korean rubber-tired AGT system(K-AGT) and Urban MAGLEV system are evaluated by using Train Performance Simulation(TPS). The train performance characteristics of K-AGT were analysed according to the change of maximum running speed and those of Urban MAGLEV were evaluated according to a vehicle weight variation. In the result of simulation in virtual line, the scheduled speed and the running time of K-AGT system have no difference with Urban MAGLEV system if the maximum running speed is equal. But the energy consumption of Urban MAGLEV system is more than that of K-AGT system. The analyses showed that in case of a 20 percent vehicle weight reduction of Urban MAGLEV system, the energy consumption per person is similar with the K-AGT system. The Urban MAGLEV system is more efficient in long travel distance condition than in short running distance condition in the aspect of train performance.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the running motion in the max-velocity phase(150-160m) and the fatigue phase(350-360m) during 400m sprint by performed elementary school athletes. Eighteen elementary school male athletes who achieved at least the 3rd place in the sprint at the Korea Gangwon-Do elementary school track and field meetings during 2004 and 2005 were selected as subjects. The running motions performed by the subjects were recorded using two 8mm high speed cameras at the nominal speed of 100 frames per second. The Direct Linear Transformation technique was adopted from the beginning of filming to the final stage of data extraction. KWON 3D motion analysis package program was used to compute the 3 Dimensional coordinates, smoothing factor in which lowpass filtering method was used and cutoff frequency was 6.0 Hz. The movement patterns during foot touchdown and takeoff for the running stride were related with the biomechanical consideration. Within the limitations of this study it is concluded: In order to increase running velocity, several conditions must be fullfilled at the instant of leg touchdown and takeoff during the fatigue phase(350-360m). First, the body C.O.G(Center of Gravity) height should be raised at the instant of leg touchdown and takeoff during the fatigue phase. Second, the foot contact time should be shortened and the takeoff distance should be increased at the foot takeoff during the fatigue phase. Third, the shank angular velocity with respect to a transverse axis through the center of gravity should be increased during the leg touchdown and takeoff in the fatigue phase. Forth, the active landing style described as clawing the ground with the sole of the foot should be performed during the leg touchdown and takeoff in the fatigue phase) phase. Fifth, In order to increase running velocity in the fatigue phase while taking a slightly greater leg knee angle and body lean angle within the range of the subject's running motion during the fatigue phase would result in greater flight distance.

  • To implement a cloud game service platform supporting multiple users and devices based on real-time streaming, there are many technical needs, including game screen and sound capturing, audio/video encoding in real time created by a high-performance server-generated game screen, and real-time streaming to client devices, such as low-cost PCs, smart devices, and set-top boxes. We therefore present a game service platform for the running and management of the game screen, as well as running the sound on the server, in which the captured and encoded game screen and sound separately provide client devices through real-time streaming. The proposed platform offers Web-based services that allow game play on smaller end devices without requiring the games to be installed locally.

  • Circadian rhythms can be seen in a variety of physiological functions in insects. Light is a powerful zeitgeber not only synchronizing but also modulating the rhythm to adjust insect's temporal structure to seasonal changes in the environmental cycle. There are two general effects of the length of light phase within 24 hr light cycles on the circadian rhythms, i.e., the modulation of free-running period and the waveform. Since the photoperiodic modulation of the free-running period is induced even in the clock mutant flies, per$\^$s/, the free-running period is not fully determined genetically. In crickets, the ratio of activity (a) and rest phase (p) under the constant darkness (DD) is clearly dependent on the photoperiod under which they have been kept. When experienced the longer photoperiod it becomes smaller. The magnitude of change in a/p-ratio is dependent on the number of cycles they experienced. The neuronal activity of the optic lobe in DD shows the a/p-ratio changing with the preceding photoperiod. These data suggest that a single circadian pacemaker stores and maintains the photoperiodic information and that there is a system that accumulates the effects of single photoperiod to cause greater effects.

  • ASM No. 1 is a very useful model to analyze wastewater treatment system removing organic carbon and nitrogen material. But it isn't adequate to control the wastewater treatment system with real time since it has many material divisions and parameters. So, the purpose of this study is the simplification of ASM No. 1 to control the wastewater treatment system. ASM No. 1 was changed with the model which has 3 material divisions(COD, $NH_4{^+}$, $NO_3{^-}$) and two phases(Aerobic and Anoxic condition). SBR was running with two phases(Phase I and II). Phase II running 20 minutes with aerobic time was used for deciding model parameters and Phase I running 12 minutes with aerobic time was used for proving the simplified model. The simplified model was compared with ASM No. 1 using data of Phase I and II. As a result of model comparison, the simplified model has enough ability to express the variation of $NH_4{^+}$ compound.

  • Portable embedded systems which mainly handle multimedia applications involve the problem that frequent accesses to fetch data from memory make running time increased. To cope with the problem, embedded processors have adopted data prefetching schemes. From a power point of view, which is a main performance indicator of embedded systems, this paper analyzed to investigate how data prefetching schemes influence on system's performance. To solve the problem, we proposed a power-consumption analysis model of a memory system with data prefetching scheme and measured the power dissipated during running application programs. As a result data prefetching schemes have application program's running time reduced but have system's power increased. Also we proposed a performance analysis model considering execution time and power consumption for embedded system with data prefetching schemes.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of exercise program on cardiopulmonary functions and shoulder joint functioning in breast cancer patients who under- went radiation therapy after surgery. Method: Subjects in the experimental group(N=12) participated in an exercise program for eight weeks. The Exercise program consisted of shoulder stretching, arm weight training, and walking on treadmill. Maximal oxygen uptake (v2max), maximal running time, shoulder joint range of motion, and shoulder functional assessment were determined before and after the exercise program. Baseline sociodemographic and medical data were compared between experimental group and control group using the Fisher's exact test and Mann- Whitney U test. For effects of the exercise program, repeated measures ANOVA were used. Result: 1) Following the exercise program for eight weeks, both v$\alpha$ max and maximal running time tended to increase in experimental group comparing with the control group. 2) Shoulder abduction, extension and flexion of the operated upper extremity in the experimental group comparing with control significantly increased after the exercise program(p<0.05). 3) Shoulder flexion of the normal upper extremity in the experimental group comparing with control significantly increased after the exercise program(p<0.05). Conclusion: The results suggest that the exercise program for breast cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy after breast surgery can improve shoulder functions and increase cardiopulmonary functions, which are maximal oxygen uptake and maximal running time.
