The Sun's ray is composed of Infrared(49%), Visible light(40%) and Ultra violet(11%), however the ray getting to the earth is FIR(Far infrared; 60%), IR(Infrared; 20%), and UV(Ultra Violet; 20%). Human beings has utilized FIR already from time immemorial. Hershel found out Infrared for the first time. in the Industrial Revolution the Infrared and FIR had been begun to use making products. In these days, with contemporary science FIR would be begun to clear up the implication in the human body and organic compound. IR classified by wavelength three parts NlR, MIR, FIR. There is FIR which is radiated from healthy human body the wave length is 8-l4m. The human body is composed of proteins which get easily changed by a thermal factor (about 42 $^{\circ}$C over). FIR with low temperature can deeply penetrate on the human body composed things without troublesomes, since FIR has effectively operated on the human body at low temperature (35-40 $^{\circ}$C). When FlR penetrated on the human body. it would inhibit the abnormal genes and cells expression, and then information of DNA and RNA would be reexpressed for arranging DNA and RNA abnormal state. As FlR's receptors in the body, it could be presumed that N-glycosyl linkage of purine and deoxyribose, RNA splicing process, and Heat shock protein. To take the FIR which was a optimized wavewlength and strength, at first, we induced the characteristic algorithm and the computerized programing. Then we formed that the formular of optimized FIR with physical, mathematical logic and theory. especially, Plank, Kirchhoff, Wien, Stefan-Boltzmann's logic and law. In the long run, the formular was induced with integration mathematical, since we had to know the molecular wavelength. Based on the induced formular as above, we programmed the optimized FlR radiating computerized program. In this research, we designed the eletronic circuit f3r interfacing with human body to diagnosis and treatment with FIR sensor which radiated FIR wavelength optimized.

Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) has been planted as one of the key infrastructures with an overall improvement in standards of medical informationization and the stream of digital hospitalization in recent days. The kind and data of digital medical imagery are also increasing rapidly in volume. This trend emphasizes the medical image compression for storing large-scale medical image data. Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM), de facto standard in digital medical imagery, specifies Run Length Encode (RLE), which is the typical lossless data compressing technique, for the medical image compression. However, the RLE is not appropriate approach for medical image data with bilateral symmetry of the human organism. we suggest two preprocessing algorithms that detect interested area, the minimum bounding rectangle, in a medical image to enhance data compression efficiency and that re-code image pixel values to reduce data size according to the symmetry characteristics in the interested area, and also presents an improved image compression technique for brain CT imagery with high bilateral symmetry. As the result of experiment, the suggested approach shows higher data compression ratio than the RLE compression in the DICOM standard without detecting interested area in images.

Recently, the production cycle in manufacturing process has been getting shorter and different types of product have been produced in the same process line. In this case, the control chart using coefficient of variation would be applicable to the process. The theory that random variables are located in the three times distance of the deviation from mean value is applicable to the control chart that monitor the process in the manufacturing line, when the data of process are changed by the type of normal distribution. It is possible to apply to the control chart of coefficient of variation too. ${\bar{x}}$, s estimates that taken in the coefficient of variation have just used all of the data, but the upper control limit, center line and lower control limit have been settled by the effect of abnormal values, so this control chart could be in trouble of detection ability of the assignable value. The purpose of this study was to present the robust control chart than coefficient of variation control chart in the normal process. To perform this research, the location parameter, ${\bar{x_{\alpha}}}$, $s_{\alpha}$ were used. The robust control chart was named Tim-CV control chart. The result of simulation were summarized as follows; First, P values, the probability to get away from control limit, in Trim-CV control chart were larger than CV control chart in the normal process. Second, ARL values, average run length, in Trim-CV control chart were smaller than CV control chart in the normal process. Particularly, the difference of performance of two control charts was so sure when the change of the process was getting to bigger. Therefore, the Trim-CV control chart proposed in this paper would be more efficient tool than CV control chart in small quantity batch production.

Recently, DVC (Distributed Video Coding) techniques are drawing a lot of interests as one of the future research works to achieve low complexity encoding in various applications. But, due to the limited computational complexity, the performances of DVC algorithms are inferior to those of conventional international standard video coders, which use zig-zag scan, run length code, entropy code and skipped macroblock. In this paper, in order to overcome the performance limit of the DVC system, the distortion for every block is estimated when side information is found at the decoder and then we propose a new selective block encoding scheme which provides the encoder side with the motion information for the highly distorted blocks and then allows the sender to encode the motion compensated frame difference signal. Through computer simulations, it is shown that the coding efficiency of the proposed scheme reaches almost that of the conventional inter-frame coding scheme.

This paper introduces a vision based autonomous mini mobile robot that is an approach to produce real autonomous vehicle. Previous autonomous vehicles are dependent on PC, because of complexity of designing hardware, difficulty of installation and abundant calculations. In this paper, we present an autonomous motile robot system that has abilities of accurate steering, quick movement in high speed and intelligent recognition as a stand-alone system using a mono camera. The proposed system has been implemented on mini track of which width is 25~30cm, and length is about 200cm. Test robot can run at average 32.9km/h speed on straight lane and average 22.3km/h speed on curved lane with 30~40m radius. This system provides a model of autonomous mobile robot adapted a lane recognition algorithm in odor to make real autonomous vehicle easily.

The current paper focuses on the analysis of transient cavitating flow in pressurised polyethylene pipes, which are characterized by viscoelastic rheological behaviour. A hydraulic transient solver that describes fluid transients in plastic pipes has been developed. This solver incorporates the description of dynamic effects related to the energy dissipation (unsteady friction), the rheological mechanical behaviour of the viscoelastic pipe and the cavitating pipe flow. The Discrete Vapour Cavity Model (DVCM) and the Discrete Gas Cavity Model (DGCM) have been used to describe transient cavitating flow. Such models assume that discrete air cavities are formed in fixed sections of the pipeline and consider a constant wave speed in pipe reaches between these cavities. The cavity dimension (and pressure) is allowed to grow and collapse according to the mass conservation principle. An extensive experimental programme has been carried out in an experimental set-up composed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes, assembled at Instituto Superior T$\acute{e}$cnico of Lisbon, Portugal. The experimental facility is composed of a single pipeline with a total length of 203 m and inner diameter of 44 mm. The creep function of HDPE pipes was determined by using an inverse model based on transient pressure data collected during experimental runs without cavitating flow. Transient tests were carried out by the fast closure of the ball valves located at downstream end of the pipeline for the non-cavitating flow and at upstream for the cavitating flow. Once the rheological behaviour of HDPE pipes were known, computational simulations have been run in order to describe the hydraulic behaviour of the system for the cavitating pipe flow. The calibrated transient solver is capable of accurately describing the attenuation, dispersion and shape of observed transient pressures. The effects related to the viscoelasticity of HDPE pipes and to the occurrence of vapour pressures during the transient event are discussed.
Anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) has been widely used for the development and fabrication of nano-powder with various morphologies such as particle, wire, rod, and tube. So far, many researchers have reported about shape control and fabrication of AAO films. However, they have reported on the shape control with different diameter and length of anodic aluminum oxide mainly. We present a combined mild-hard (or hard-mild) anodization to prepare shape-controlled AAO films. Two main parameters which are combination mild-hard (or hard-mild) anodization and run-time of voltage control are applied in this work. The voltages of mild and hard anodization are respectively 40 and 80 V. Anodization was conducted on the aluminum sheet in 0.3 mole oxalic acid at $4^{\circ}C$. AAO films with morphologies of varying interpore distance, branch-shaped pore, diameter-modulated pore and long funnel-shaped pore were fabricated. Those shapes will be able to apply to fabricate novel nano-materials with potential application which is especially a support to prevent volume expansion of inserted active materials, such as metal silicon or tin powder, in lithium ion battery. The silicon powder electrode using an AAO as a support shows outstanding cycle performance as 1003 mAh/g up to 200 cycles.

This paper proposes new line code BIM (Bit Insertion and Manipulation) that is designed to overcome the problems of existing line codes. The block code, one of typical existing line code, has good transmission performance but difficulty in implementation. The other typical existing line code, bit insertion code, is easy to implementation but has bad transmission performance. BIM code in this paper could provide not only good performance but also provides simplicity in the implementation by combining the good points of block code into it of bit insertion code properly. In this paper, 5B6B type BIM code is designed. Designed 5B6B BIM code shows good transmission performance such $\pm$2 DSV, 0 RSD, 7 maximum run length and also it can be implemented under 2000 gates and need only 1 bit redundancy.
The conditions for separation and identification of anionic and nonionic surfactants by thin layer chromatography were investigated. Polyoxy alkylene-type nonionic surfactants were identified by the distribution of alkyl chain and alkylene oxide. Various polyoxyethylenated nonyl phenols were easily distinguished by densitometer. Some anionic surfactants were identified by $R_f$ and color, and the mixtures of anionic and nonionic surfactants were separated. Polyoxyethylenated fatty acid was separated into three parts of diester, monoester and polyethylene glycol, respectively, and the mixed ratio was determined by densitomer. All the experiments were carried out in 13-20 minutes, and the length of run was 80mm.

PURPOSES : The impact performance of flexible barrier system such as structural response, vehicular motion and occupant safety vary depending on the impact point. Thus, to properly evaluate the performance of a flexible barrier system, impact should be made to a point which will lead to the worst possible results. This point is called the Critical Impact Point (CIP). This paper presents the way to determine the CIP for a SB2 class flexible barrier system which is consisted of Thrie-Beam rail and circular hollow tube post of 2m span. METHODS: Barrier VII simulations were made for impact points; Case 1 at a post, Case 2 at 1/3 span downstream from a post, Case 3 at middle of the span, Case 4 at 2/3 span downstream from a post. For the structural performance (deflections), impact simulation of 8000kg-65km/h-15degree was used, and for vehicle motion and occupant safety, simulation of 1300kg-80km/h-20degree impact was made and analysed. RESULTS: Case 1 gave the largest dynamic deflection of 75.72cm and also gave the largest snag value of 44.3cm. Occupant safety and exit angle of the vehicle after the impact were not sensitive to the impact point and were all below the allowable limit. CONCLUSIONS : For the SB2 class flexible barrier system's CIP can be regarded as a post which is sufficiently away from the end of Length of Need in order to avoid the end-effect of the barrier system. It can be more economic in the long run because the normal concrete pavement material is likely to cost more due to higher probability of maintenance and repair and higher social cost due to traffic accident, etc.
