항공기 지상이동 유도 및 통제시스템의 안전성 평가 기준에 관한 사례연구 (Case Study on Safety Assessment Standard for A-SMGCS)

  • 본 연구는 항공기 지상이동 유도 및 통제시스템(A-SMGCS)의 안전성 평가 기준과 과거에 수행된 연구개발 프로젝트의 사례연구에 대한 것이다. A-SMGCS 시스템은 저시정 상태 등과 같이 기존 공항의 효율성을 저해시키는 환경에서도 이전과 동일한 효율성을 유지한 상태에서 안전하게 운영하기 위하여 항공기 및 지상이동체의 통제를 기반으로 경로, 안내 및 감시를 제곤하는 시스템이다. 최근 한국과 유럽 등에서는 공항 이동 구역의 안전한 통제를 위하여 A-SMGCS 시스템 개발을 진행하고 있다. 항공 산업과 같이 안전을 근간으로 하는 산업 분야에서는 운용시스템에 대한 안전성 입증과 보장이 반드시 필요하다. 본 연구는 이러한 안전성을 요구하는 A-SMGCS의 안전 목표 수준을 검증하기 위한 안전성 평가 기준과 기존 연구 사례를 분석하였다.

  • Development of digital information and internet technology causes the changes of technology environments and companies, and the variety of customer needs has been dynamically changed in terms of integrating information system with customer satisfaction. Moreover a new logistics concept is needed through the sharing information between suppliers and consumers, which maximizes the level of customers service and its flexibility by changing functional-oriented to process-oriented. In other words, Supply Chain Management (SCM) is now considered as a key aspect of business, which controls the flows of information, funds, and goods in the supply chain. Rationalization of transport-delivery system will be one of the most important issues on logistics management to the domestic companies. The companies need the effective delivery system. Especially in the case of delivery system from distribution centers to customers or vendors, it might take a long time to control the delivery system manually because it would be hard to apply the automatic vehicle routing algorithm effectively considering all the practical constraints. Thus this study develops a heuristic algorithm of automatic vehicle delivery support system in terms of grouping by short ranges of vehicle movement utilizing postal coordinates, which satisfies a variety of realistic constraints and reduces controlling time of manual operations. In addition, the performance of the algorithm developed in this study is evaluated through the case study.

충주댐 유역 홍수추적을 위한 소백산 레이더 강우자료의 적용성 검토 (Applicability of Sobaek Radar Rain for Flood Routing of Chungju Dam Watershed)

  • 본 연구는 충주댐 유역($6,625.8km^2$)을 대상으로 지점강우와 소백산 이중편파 레이더강우자료를 격자기반 분포형 강우-유출 모형인 KIMSTORM(KIneMatic wave STOrm Runoff Model)에 적용하여 홍수추적을 수행하여 레이더의 적용성을 검토하였다. 2012년 4개의 강우 이벤트(집중호우, 카눈, 볼라벤, 산바)에 대하여 한강홍수통제소로부터 보정된 소백산 레이더 강우자료를 제공받아 사용하였다. 레이더 강우와 지점 강우를 비교분석한 결과, 41개 지점의 지상강우보다 레이더의 면적평균강우량을 비교한 결과, 강우의 시공간적 패턴은 상당히 일치하였고 지상강우에 대한 레이더 강우의 비율은 0.97로 분석되었다. 이후 분포형 홍수추적을 위해 KIMSTORM을 이용하였으며, 격자크기 $500{\times}500m$ 해상도의 198행${\times}$231열의 총 45,738개의 셀로 모형을 구축하였다. KIMSTORM 모형의 보정 결과, 평균 $R^2$(coefficient of determination), ME(model efficiency), VCI(volume conservation index)는 지상강우의 경우, 각각 0.83, 0.68, 1.10로 분석되었고, 레이더강우의 경우는 각각 0.80, 0.62, 1.08의 결과를 보였다.

능동 건강/생활지원 USN 기반 서비스 로봇 시스템의 실시간 싱크 노드 구조 (Real-Time Sink Node Architecture for a Service Robot Based on Active Healthcare/Living-support USN)

  • This paper proposes a system architecture for USN with a service robot to provide more active assisted living services for elderly persons by monitoring their mental and physical well-being with USN environments at home, hospital, or silver town. Sensors embedded in USN are used to detect preventive measures for chronic disease. Logged data are transferred to main controller of a service robot via wireless channel in which the analysis of data is performed. For the purpose of handling emergency situations, it needs real-time processing on gathering variety sensor data, routing algorithms for sensor nodes to a moving sink node and processing of logged data. This paper realized multi-hop sensor network to detect user movements with biometric data transmission and performed algorithms on Xenomai, a real-time embedded Linux. To leverage active sensing, a mobile robot is used of which task was implemented with a priority to process urgent data came from the sink-node. This software architecture is anticipated to integrate sensing, communication and computing with real-time manner. In order to verify the usefulness of a proposed system, the performance of data transferring and processing on a real-time OS with non real-time OS is also evaluated.

홍수전파와 배수갑문 운영에 따른 새만금호 내부 수리특성의 동적응답 (Dynamic Response of Hydraulic Characteristics in the Inner Saemankeum Reservoir According to Gate Operation and Flood Events)

  • 새만금호의 방조제 완공이후와 내부 개발이후 만경강 및 동진강의 홍수량 유입과 내부 수위를 관리하기 위해 수문을 작동할 매 수리특성이 어떻게 반응할 것인가를 평가하기 위한 수치실험이 수심적분된 ADCIRC 모형을 이용하여 실시되었다. 2차원 동적하도추적에 따르면, 상류에서는 홍수수문의 시간적 변화가 민감하나 홍수파가 호 내로 유하 하면서 급확대되는 물리적 특성에 따라 호 중심부터는 안정화된다. 평상시 관리수위를 유지하기 위해 수문을 제어하는 경우, 내부개발이후가 방조제 완공직후에 비해 수문 인근영역에서 유속, 수위 등에 동적응답이 즉각적으로 보다 크게 일어나고, 외해수를 호 내측으로 받아들이면 불규칙 수면교란이 일시적으로 발생하는데 내부개발 전후에 따라 최대 10km 및 16km정도까지 상류방향으로 전파된다.

저전력 손실 네트워크에서 노드 연결성 향상을 위한 EC-RPL (EC-RPL to Enhance Node Connectivity in Low-Power and Lossy Networks)

  • IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)는 저전력 손실 네트워크 환경인 LLNs(Low power and Lossy Networks)의 라우팅 프로토콜로 RPL(IPv6 Routing Protocol for Low-power Lossy Network)을 표준화하였다. RPL은 LLNs에서 요구하는 서비스에 적합한 OF(Objective Function)를 통해 경로를 생성하고 DODAG(Destination Oriented Directed Acyclic Graph)를 구축한다. 기존 연구들은 각 노드의 잔여 에너지를 확인하여 잔여 에너지가 높은 부모를 선택하여 DODAG를 구축하지만 실제 부모 노드가 에너지를 전부 소모하기 전에 DODAG를 떠나고 새로운 DODAG를 구축하는 방식은 없었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 DODAG에 가입된 노드의 에너지 잔량이 지정된 에너지 한계점 이하로 떨어지면 그 노드가 DODAG를 미리 떠나는 EC-RPL(Enhanced Connectivity-RPL)을 제안한다. 제안된 프로토콜을 오픈소스 사물인터넷 운영체제인 Contiki에서 제공하는 Cooja 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 그 성능을 평가하고 Foren6를 활용하여 제어 메시지 수를 비교한다. 실험 결과 EC-RPL이 기존 RPL 보다 6.9% 낮은 지연시간과 5.8% 낮은 제어 메시지를 사용하며, 패킷 전달 비율은 1.7% 높은 것을 확인할 수 있다.

Environment Adaptive Emergency Evacuation Route GUIDE through Digital Signage Systems

  • Nowadays, the most of commercial buildings are build-out with complex architecture and decorated with more complicated interiors of buildings so establishing intelligible escape routes becomes an important case of fire or other emergency in a limited time. The commercial buildings are already equipped with multiple exit signs and these exit signs may create confusion and leads the people into different directions under emergency. This can jeopardize the emergency situation into a chaotic state, especially in a complex layout buildings. There are many research focused on implementing different approached to improve the exit sign system with better visual navigating effects, such as the use of laser beams, the combination of audio and video cues, etc. However the digital signage system based emergency exit sign management is one of the best solution to guide people under emergency situations to escape. This research paper, propose an intelligent evacuation route GUIDE that uses the combination centralized Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and digital signage for people safety and avoids dangers from emergency conditions. This proposed system applies WSN to detect the environment condition in the building and uses an evacuation algorithm to estimate the safe route to escape using the sensor information and then activates the signage system to display the safe evacuation route instruction GUIDE according to the location the signage system is installed. This paper presented the prototype of the proposed signage system and execution time to find the route with future research directions. The proposed system provides a natural intelligent evacuation route interface for self or remote operation in facility management to efficiently GUIDE people to the safe exit under emergency conditions.

A System Framework for Map Air Update Navigation Service

  • The quality of navigation service is determined by the accuracy of the available data. For existing navigation services, a full map update is provided in order to keep the map data of mobile devices current. As content and services of mobile devices have recently been diversifying, the size of map data managed in mobile devices has increased, reaching several gigabytes in size. It generally takes tens of minutes to write several gigabytes of data into mobile device storage. For traditional navigation systems, a complicated storage structure called a physical storage format (PSF) is used to assure maximum processing performance of map data in mobile devices within limited resources. Consequently, even though modified navigation map data actually affects only a portion of a map, the full map data is updated because partial updates are not possible. In this paper, a navigation system is studied to solve this difficult partial map update problem. The map air update navigation system, which is the result of this study, provides real-time partial map updating using wireless communications.

객체지향형 수문 모델링 시스템을 이용한 금강유역 분포형 강우-유출 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Distributed Rainfall-Runoff System for the Guem River Basin Using an Object-oriented Hydrological Modeling System)

  • Physics-based distributed rainfall-runoff models are now commonly used in a variety of hydrologic applications such as to estimate flooding, water pollutant transport, sedimentation yield and so on. Moreover, it is not surprising that GIS has become an integral part of hydrologic research since this technology offers abundant information about spatial heterogeneity for both model parameters and input data that control hydrological processes. This study presents the development of a distributed rainfall-runoff prediction system for the Guem river basin ($9,835km^2$) using an Object-oriented Hydrological Modeling System (OHyMoS). We developed three types of element modules: Slope Runoff Module (SRM), Channel Routing Module (CRM), and Dam Reservoir Module (DRM) and then incorporated them systemically into a catchment modeling system under the OHyMoS. The study basin delineated by the 250m DEM (resampled from SRTM90) was divided into 14 midsize catchments and 80 sub-catchments where correspond to the WAMIS digital map. Each sub-catchment was represented by rectangular slope and channel components; water flows among these components were simulated by both SRM and CRM. In addition, outflows of two multi-purpose dams: Yongdam and Daechung dams were calculated by DRM reflecting decision makers' opinions. Therefore, the Guem river basin rainfall-runoff modeling system can provide not only each sub-catchment outflow but also dam inand outflow at one hour (or less) time step such that users can obtain comprehensive hydrological information readily for the effective and efficient flood control during a flood season.

Enhanced ANTSEC Framework with Cluster based Cooperative Caching in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

  • In a mobile ad hoc network (MANET), communication between mobile nodes occurs without centralized control. In this environment the mobility of a node is unpredictable; this is considered as a characteristic of wireless networks. Because of faulty or malicious nodes, the network is vulnerable to routing misbehavior. The resource constrained characteristics of MANETs leads to increased query delay at the time of data access. In this paper, AntHocNet+ Security (ANTSEC) framework is proposed that includes an enhanced cooperative caching scheme embedded with artificial immune system. This framework improves security by injecting immunity into the data packets, improves the packet delivery ratio and reduces end-to-end delay using cross layer design. The issues of node failure and node malfunction are addressed in the cache management.
